Reveal 1 Level 5 or higher "Ancient Gear" monster from your hand, then banish a number of "Ancient Gear" monsters from your Graveyard, whose combined Levels are double the revealed monster's, and if you do, if you Normal Summon the revealed monster this turn, you must Normal Smmon it without Tributing.

Pros

Banishes your Ancient Gear monsters to be Special summoned instantly using Premature Return

Cons

If you summon the level 5 or above Ancient Gear monster you revealed, you must Normal summon it without a tribute.
Banished monsters are counted as cost if you cannot bring them back.

Combos

Premature Return

To make use of the banished Ancient Gear monsters, we will require Premature Return to Special summon them back. However, Ancient Gear Golem and Ancient Gear Beast cannot be Special summoned, therefore they act as the cards you reveal when you use Ancient Gear Factory, and then banish these cards to Special summon Ancient Gear monsters that was banished as a cost.

When you special summon using Premature Return, you can banish Ancient Gear Golem or Ancient Gear Beast instead.

Smart Ass

This card doesn't seems that good. I've tested and confirmed that you need to banish exactly double the star leveled monsters in grave. Means, if you wan to summon 5 stars card, you need to banish EXACTLY 10 stars card in grave. Having 2 6-stars cards in grave doesn't let you summon 5 stars monster (tested myself)

You don't even need to test it actually, since it says "whose combined Levels are double the revealed monster's"

It never says "double or more", just "double. So of course having 2 Level 6 won't work to summon a Level 5 one.

Steel

You need a total of 16 "stars" in your grave to normal summon a Golem without tribute.
With Knight and Soldier, that should be doable. But unless you have 16 "stars" in your grave and this card as well as a Golem in your hand, this card is just dead. With up to 2 Castle available to you, this card really is not nessecary.

You are missing out the point, this card does not allow you to "normal summon without tribute", after you use this card, you still need to find a way to normal summon without tribute like using Ancient Gear Castle.

Steel is right. You can normal summon any high leveled AG monster without tributing anything, just like normal summon a 4 star card.

Wait, does that card let you summon without tributes or does it forces you to not tribute summon him for banishing the monsters?

I think this card forces you to normal summon a level 5 or above AG monster without tribute. I need to banish AG monsters double the level of the AG monster I revealed. Frankly i don't see what's the use there lol.

the latter. Benefit from this card is just allow you to banish "Ancient Gear".
