"Ancient Gear Golem" + 2 "Ancient Gear" monsters
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. If this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear Golem" from your Graveyard, ignoring the Summoning conditions.

  • Very high attack and has piercing effect.
  • Your opponent can't use spell/trap cards when it attacks.
  • Special summons an Ancient Gear Golem if it's destroyed, by battle or card effect.

Cons

  • Requires 3 monsters with at least 1 Ancient Gear Golem.
  • Since you need Polymerization, you will need to have 4 cards to fusion summon it, which can costly and slow at times.

While this card isn't recommended to bring in a standard Ancient Gear deck, it can be good in a standard last gamble deck. You can discard any of the ancient gear monsters to the graveyard to activate the skill and you can still fusion summon Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem, and/or Chimeratech Overdragon.

One other way to get Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem out is to use Power Bond. It means giving up 4400 life points, but with it becoming an 8800 attack point monster, along with its special abilities, its worth it.

No, Ancient Gear Catapult only summons from the Main Deck, not the Extra Deck.

Doesn't work with Ultimate Pound because it specifically requires 'Ancient Gear Golem' (AGUP can only act as one of the 2 'ancient gear' cards).

It'll work if you used a fusion substitute like King of the Swamp instead of Ancient Gear Golem (and all the materials you DID use can be Special Summoned).

Ancient Gear Golem can't be Special Summoned, and De-Fusion can only Summon either all of the materials or none of them.

That's a pretty useless distinction to make.

Ignoring the Summoning conditions already requires that the Summoning conditions were preventing it from being Special Summoned.

Tech in ancient gear explosive that can be searched by wyvern and you get a fat 2200 points of effect damage whilst still being able to pop the revival effect. Pretty handy for an alternative win con.

Too slow now as most of the the time ancient gear castle is going to pop before you get the chance to use it. Ultimate golem is a -3 that can get floodgated or econ taken if you don't 🔥 them on the turn.

Honestly we need a lot of the newer AG supports to come to DL.

One wombo combo people are missing with this is UAGG with crackling air storm. 2 attacks with a 4400 piercing, speed spell 4 beat stick

If you're in a position where you even use the SECOND one, the opponent screwed up somewhere. (Or you got very lucky sitting on the Ancient Gear Golem for a million turns.)

Or you're the one who screwed up somehow and needs to summon a second copy to replace the first one.

But yeah, like 98% of the time just summoning one already win you the game, no need to have three copies.

Well, Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem is not event exclusive anymore, so now you can have a chance to get that card if you duel LV40 Crowler on the gate or duel world. You can also get him if you have UR Prismatic Card only

Yeah, it only has 100 less ATK than BEUD but it trades than 100 point for Piercing effect and the ability to revive AGG.

I'd say that makes it better than BEUD. It basically got great effects in exchange for a really cheap 100 ATK point, that's practically a steal.

Wow i actually dont like the appearance of prismatic cards in the game but this looks awesome. Sad that none of my 8 or 9 copies of uagg aren't even glossy but at the end they all do the same thing in the game lol

i got this card about 14 times. it didnt feel UR to me to get them so often. Now AGC was hard to farm i got lucky and barely got my 3rd one.
