Pros

A decent utility for Ancient Gear monsters to destroy opponent’s monsters that are stronger than them

Cons

Monster destruction effect triggers only after Damage Step, and your -Ancient Gear monster must be alive to trigger its effect.
Not very versatile to be used in current meta.

Support

In order to preserve your Ancient Gear monsters from being destroyed during the Damage step, you need to switch the opponent’s monsters to Defense mode before you attack into them and trigger Ancient Gear Fist’s effect. These are the cards to support that play.

This is basically only useful against monsters whose stats are lower than your AG but cannot be destroyed in battle.

Your monster has to be on the field after the damage step to make this thing work

Let me put that in a nicer way; The opponent's monster is destroyed if YOUR AG monster is still on the field.

If your opponent uses it on their monster, it won't be destroyed. If you use it on your monster equipped with AGF, the monster who attacked you will be destroyed since you survived the damage step.

This would be good with tea using holy guard. Attack a monster facedown and you take no damage plus you destroy the monster.

Just attack a defense position monster and this card destroys that monster

Use a card that takes no battle damage or holy guard skill. Anything you battle is destroyed.

Your monster needs to be alive for that. So it won't work yet. We need mist body for a true use of that.
