You must control at least 1 Ancient Gear monster to use this card.
You need to discard 1 card from your hand as a cost.
The set Spell card cannot be activated on that turn you used Ancient Gear Drill.

This card is really only useful if you are playing Ancient Gear deck, to draw out Spell Gear to Speed summon Ancient Gear Golem.

I can ask activate this with any AG but when I have AG soldier on the field the card won't activate. Why?? Or is this a duellinks mess up?

If you have two set (non-field) spells or traps and play AG Drill in your last slot you will only be able to target a field spell, as there is nowhere to set whatever non-field spell you would select on the field, at least until after AG Drill resolves. So really, you have to only have one or fewer set spells/traps before you activate this card, unless you want a field spell.

That usually works well enough for me though, as I like to use AG Drill to search my only copy of Gaia Power.

Must have for AG decks with lotsa quick play spells. Just smack 3 econ and super head rush xD for ancient trolling.

use it when ur enemy attacks you, not the other way around..

Not really immune, more like suppressing opponent's Spell/Trap during Battle phase. If you control AG monster, u still can slap your SRH onto it during your attack phase.

They're not immune, they just prevent your opponent from activate spells/traps when they attack until the end of the damage step, both things are completely different. You still can activate an e-con targeting an AG Golem at the start of your opponent's battle phase.

Good searcher but... It just wasting card slot. Not to mention the cost and requirement is kinda tricky

use this to set spell gear. that way, you have easy access to 1-2 golem instantly from deck
