A search card for the "hunder" archetype.

Cons

Low attack and defense.
Only to search for level 4 LIGHT Thunder-type monsters.
Must be normal summoned to activate its effect.

Other Hunder cards

The Hunder card's specialty is their ability to swarm, allowing you to normal summon more than 1 monster per turn. The strength in numbers can lead to different playstyles. You can use cards like Enemy Controller to take control of your opponent's monster, Two-Pronged Attack / Mystic Box to destroy a difficult monster, or even The Atmosphere to take them instead. Since it's considered normal summon, you can do multiple summons even when you go against the Vagabond with the "no special summon" condition.

Makiu, the Magical Mist

While Hunder cards don't really have high attack, this is good for destroying multiple low defense monsters. You can also use attack increasing cards first if you want to destroy higher defense monsters.

This card is from Zexal era (in manga). I'm sure this card would be useful in the future (that's why it has UR rarity) for XYZ shenanigans.

solidarity was datamined in the last update, if your graveyard has only 1 type of monster, all your monsters with same type gets 800 atk, then hunder family can become a thing

WTF? How could this card be rated 7/10 ? Maybe in the future this will be an excellent supporting card for whatever will follow. But right now there is no use for it. It should be rated 0/10.

It is indeed rated to high atm.
But no use is a bit to much. This thing can fit in a mask deck as a searcher for vylon ohm for instance. Not that it is any good, because equip spells etc. But it's an example.

This card is an excellent searcher for denko sekka and thunder king rai-oh. However these cards are still not available. Like you said, future support is needed.

Up to now there is no useful card that could be pulled out of your deck by Brohunder´s effect. So he is TOTALLY useless. Even if there will be some compatible cards added, I still do not get why a simple "searcher" (and this one has VERY limited use) has to be an UR. The other searchers are just R at maximum and MUCH more useful (e.g. for pulling Unhappy Girl).

gravekeeper recruiter is not even a card you have to spend a single gem for. Very bad comparison. Plus the recruiter is doing a good job in gravekeeper decks. Will there ever be such a deck for Brohunder? Maybe one day there will be other cards that do a good combo with Brohunder. But you have to be over optimistic to expect that this deck will ever be good enough to make it worth spending gems.

Its a searcher, if you judge the card by itself then of course this is a terrible card, but the effect that let you choose the card you need from your deck is what makes it powerful.
