Any effect that would inflict damage to a player increases their Life Points by the same amount, instead. During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would destroy a monster(s) on the field: You can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.
Turns burn damage directed at your opponent into heal.
Tips
Burn Damage
A very good Anti-Burn card. Get this monster on the field and Burn decks can't do anything against you. But since most burn decks use Lava Golem, the only thing you need to worry about is Lava Golem's removal. Try to bait out Lava Golem before you summon your Prime Material Dragon.
Some cards have the drawback of burning it's user making them risky to use. Prime Material Dragon could turn these drawbacks into additional advantages. Take for example Aegis of Gaia which gives you 3000LP but damages you 3000LP when it leaves the field.
Destroying monsters via card effect is the most common way of getting rid of monsters without doing battle. Prime Material Dragon protects against this form of removal and in turn destroys the opponent's card, and is particularly useful against mass destruction cards like Special Hurrican, Armed Dragon LV10, and Steelswarm Hercules. Use this against popular cards like Sylvan Marshalleaf, Noble Knight Drystan, Archfiend Emperor, and Sea Stealth Attack.
Loved using this card back on the DS games. I doubt it's going to be too effective in Duel Links though especially because of the smaller starting hand size and Onslaught all over the place right now banishing without destroying.
