While you control another "Noble Knight" monster, your opponent cannot target your monsters with less than 1800 ATK, except this card, for attacks or with card effects. If a "Noble Arms" Equip Spell Card is equipped to this card: Target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy that target. You can only use this effect of "Noble Knight Drystan" once per turn.

  • Destroys opponent’s cards.
  • Protects other monsters.

  • Only protects 1800 attack and lower monsters.

  • Remember that Drystan’s effect is mandatory, therefore if your opponent does not control any cards you will be forced to destroy one of yours.

Noble Knight Medraut

You can equip Noble Knight Medraut with a noble arms card and then destroy the equip to special summon Drystan from your deck. The destroyed Noble Arms card will then be equipped to Drystan so that you can destroy a card your opponent controls.

Opponent’s Turn

Being able to activate Drystan’s destruction effect during your opponent’s turn could make for some good disruption and could even be used to destroy attacking monsters. Use Glory of the Noble Knight to search your deck for a Noble Arms card and equip it to Drystan during your opponent’s turn. You can activate the effect of Noble Knight Bedwyr to equip a face-up Noble Arms card from another monster to Drystan, this effect can be used during either player’s turn.

Noble Arms

Here is a list of Noble arms cards you can equip to Noble Knight Drystan to trigger his destruction effect.

If you equip Drystan with Arfeudutyr (Noble Arms equip) and destroy 1 set card, then repeat the process one more time, you can have a total enemy lockdown since both Drystans will have 1300 atk due to Arfeudutyr's effects being permanent no matter what
Too bad Canadia is quite meta or you could have an easy lockdown
Another way is using Dark Jeroid's effect on Drystan and equipping Noble Arms of Destiny on them for a +90% protection but by that time, omae wa mo SHIENdiru
A card so op that it has the whole deck built around it
If I have two of this card on the field.. It does protect each other? Correct me if I'm wrong..

It would say so if it didn't work that way...

It says "less than 1800 ATK". Drystan has exactly 1800 ATK, so controlling two does not protect each other, since neither has ATK less than 1800.

Lol, reminds me to the time people knew NK is bad yet Konami keeps insisting to release more cards for it, more cards that didn't even come close to addressing the deck's problem

As a result, NK never became a meta deck in TCG/OCG

Hazy and Sylvan are bad in TCG, but in duel links both are ever and still tier 1

The difference is that hazy and sulvan used to be good. Noble knights never were.

Hazy Flame was never good in the TCG. Noble Knights are actually kinda competent at the moment, even if they're just one of many abuse-the-crap-out-of-Isolde decks.
Does 1800 attack included?

I would say no its not written or "equal at" so having the monster set twice on the field won't work..
SR? Really?
Best noble night card. You bet ppl is gonna play 3 of this
