NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

Well, I do my current tier list like this:

Tier 0: (Everything revolves around him, tech cards like Karakuri and Soldier are used on all decks because of him)
Six

Tier 1:
Koa'ki (well-rounded, skill Mokuba)

Tier 2:
Amazoness and AG (Amazon, merely for being a counter of six, so you can farm six with this deck) and AG is excellent against Amaz.

Amazon doesn't do well against Six Sam if they go second- they need to open with Onslaught set turn 1 before they go as Shien can negate your 1 of onslaught or any other spell/trap you try to overpower them with otherwise, and even then they still have outs to it.

Karakuri is still tiered to me, they have good drawing power. You can activate Offerings to make your opponent trigger Shi En and then you activate Anatomy

If Six Sams started playing first with Dual Shield/Enishi and Shi En, all you have do going second is to push red button "surrender".

You need 2 offering or 2 anatomy to do that because fuma protection effect exists

Apparently, Masked Hero was the best investment. Some months and they will be the deck who survived 2 years.

Usually only in the sense of do I floodgate this card or do I wait and canadia it?

Floddgate? Canadia? it's the conundrum that plagues the average stall player.

Usually indeed not that much, although you still need to understand and know some stuff if you aim to really do well.
Also depends how you build it if you play f.e. Bad aim or econ or other similar stuff to give you better overall matchups with problematic decks like AG or hazy you would need some skill. If you play a pure burn deck with zero interaction then yeah it's pretty much autoplay

Masked Heroes are not tier 2 anymore.

Jubel, Six Samurai , Mask Change and Amazoness, pretty much at META decks require no Skill and no logical thinking.

a 5yr old can reach KOG with a META Deck and $30 worth of buying cards.

Mill and Burn Dekc require skills and thinking

Screw that, I prefer to fight Smaurais 10 times over a 🔥ous stall deck that rellies entirely on dragging out the duel and cowardly hiding behind backrows.

Besides, those decks kinda go against the whole purpose of this "speed duel" format don't they?

At least Samurais have the balls to play the actual game the way it's supposed to be played. lol

i dont mind a burn and mill deck. six samurai and all the other are over played and 🔥ed , same old 1 2 3 steps and if that gets counter than the meta player runs away.

Six Sams are Tier 0.

I play AG and I 80% of the time I face Six Sams or direct counter decks to those, like Cipher Soldier variants, etc.

How about the FTK Darkworld Deck that has just emerged XD. Ran into 2-3 times now. Arcana using Show of Nightmares with it. It’s pure P2W 🔥. Needs lots of the same URs from main boxes.

I ran into a couple of those already, my opponents dragged their turns for like 5 minutes & in the end they surrendered 'cause they couldn't pull off the 2 statue elephants for the OTK. lol
