Tier List [Mar 15]

Mekk-Knight and Salamangreat Code Talker are demoted as a Tier 3 Decklist.
Burning Abyss, Madolche, and Rose Dragon are removed from the Tier List.
Crusadia and Rokket/Borrel are removed from the High-Potential List.

NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

Pure Koa'ki, maybe.

Koa'ki Neos however, is a tier 1 material.

Clearly, the list was made by an Ancient Gear player. That would explain Six Sams being tier one, and Amazoness Warrior + Amazoness Queen laughs at Ancient Gear.

Amazoness is maybe Tier 2, but Subterror generally beats it pretty easily between Stygo and Uma.

Subterrors are also pretty good against Six Sam. Yeah, Dual Wield is a pain, but that can be played around.

What kind of RE build justifies tier 2. I play RE Buster Blader, and while powerful, it's still inconsistent enough to be considered Tier 3 (except against Blue Eyes)

neos masked hero is terrible, red eyes is only good now due to black metal, 6sam is not tier one as they perform terribly against any deck w a monster > 2500 attack (any neos variant, blue eyes, subterror, red eyes even negates all their ways of dealing w it). Yubel is shocking against anyone who knows about timing.

Your list is mostly good but drop 6sam, amazon, delete masked hero, raise koaki.

straight red eyes w new box cards is a better build against most things because black metal gives a turn one play + huge attack and searching. Try watching james warai youtube on it, variant kills 6sams, neos, and most others that aren't blue eyes

Subterror is definitely not Tier 3. You don't even need to use Masked Tribute to play the deck and win matches. It also rarely bricks when I play it.

What? It is tier 1 on Duel links meta

It happened twice today. I almost finished this Koaki Neos abomination, my opponent is out of cards

I destroyed all Neos monsters with protection, and somehow survived after Maximus and Ice

When they just summoned Lava golem to my side of the field and I had too little health to continue to duel further

Flawless victory lol

What about ex structure decks all are dominating.. yugis silent Magician just topped mcs.. ex $ anime monster are also staying like forever without getting hit by banlist

Not sure what you mean by anime monsters. Amazoness Swords Woman and Lava Golem are probably the closest things to a hit-worthy monster that've even appeared in the anime, and neither is a popular enough card (fan-wise) to avoid the banlist due to that reason.

Probably based on the number of KoG deck submitted. Imo, Subterror is tier 1,Six Sam tier 2 and Red-Eyes is tier 2

My "Buster D." using free gems got me to KOG...

Anti Six Sams...
Anti Blue-Eyes...
Anti Yubel...

Gold to Platinum...
Initially I used Kaiba's balance from Gold to Platinum with a decklist similar to this one, but without the Red-Eye cards, instead I used 2 dimensional prison trap cards and a Lava Golem.

Platinum to Legend...
It was difficult climbing from Platinum to Legend, because of Weevil stall burn decks I constantly encounter during the climb. Regardless if I get to draw the best 4 cards when I go first or the perfect combination of 5 cards when I go second, I still always end up losing after I get to summon the paracide and my monsters get to become tribute to their Lava golems.

I can pretty much win 75% of the time with any type of deck, but Weevil with Amazoness combined deck plus Lava. On top of that, I get to face against them 50% of the time which makes me unluckily lose without a decent fight.

Remembering the principle of my card itself that inorder to defeat the Dragons, you must become a Dragon yourself.., I decided to use Weevil's paracite infestation to counter Weevil and from then on was able to win 50/50. However, this isn't enough to get me to a Legend rank.

I started dropping other Trap Cards and just keep 3 DNA surgeries and 1 Treacherous Trap Hole to be able to optimally use TTH since it requires no other Traps in the graveyard for its activation. To anti against Six Sams, I added 2 Cipher Soldiers. I keep winning against Six Sams if they don't get to draw their dual wield early. I also win 80% of the time against any Kaiba dragon type decks.

Even facing the same Buster Blader allows me to win 90% of the time, because of my paracide. In addition to this, a new Red-Eyes structured deck has been released for a very cheap price. That's how I built the deck that got me to KOG.

I used Blance for the skill and this is now rhe deck I am using, but it is still difficult for me to counter Terror decks if I don't get to setup DNA, Royal Command and BBDDS... I hope to find some other solution to counter Terror without putting my deck unfavorable against other deck matches...

LOl what? Competitive Metaphys build requires 3 gold sarcophagus from EX deck and Subterrors are better with Neos engine

Not true, Metaphys already meta without any gold sarc in them. Currently using Metaphys (3x lupine/daedalus/neph/tyrant/asym, 2x dimension, 1x sphere kuri/factor/tth) and easily reached KOG/DLv 25, only bad match up is AG's because of their ability to 🔥 backrow. REBD/BEWD/Neos are ridiculously easy with Daedalus banishing them.
