Tier List [Mar 15]

Mekk-Knight and Salamangreat Code Talker are demoted as a Tier 3 Decklist.
Burning Abyss, Madolche, and Rose Dragon are removed from the Tier List.
Crusadia and Rokket/Borrel are removed from the High-Potential List.

NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

I'd take the new style of Aromages or even Batterymen for a spin if I didn't keep running into those Connection-killing hackers that plague the PvP now. You know, you're winning, they're turn comes, they say a couple things that basically tell you what they're doing, then your connection magically cuts off and you lose.

Top players have been testing Synchros in Legend Rank and the only one that seems to have a high potential of being a top tier deck is the XX-Saber. The rest of the synchros are just complete trash against the meta. Sorry to those who wasted their gems on Blue-Eyes Meme Dragon. SORRY!

Funny I don't consider anyone that's only at legend right now a "Top" anything let alone player while I have seen KOG players those actually at the top playing Blue eyes and saying it is pretty good and fun maybe next time list your "Top players" as actually being at the top specially since we're near ladder reset

It is nice to say thing without giving a source.
Synchro Summon isn't trash.

Currently it is just in the beginning and the majority of DL players never played it in TCG/OCG so they are still learning.
Another point is that with the release of new generic Synchro monsters, the meta will change a lot and the current meta will have to adapt their decks or they will just disappear from the list.

Some guys really believe the meaning of F2P means = useless player lol
If you can't farm 5k gems to get fur hire or 1k gems + tech cards for amazoness, then the problem is yours and not the game.

Gozuki it's really useful in vamp deck because you can't throw the bull guy to graveyard then banish another GY card and summon from hand :O, 2-3 are ideal

I run nearly the same deck but I ron no Dress and no Trap but 3 Sphere Kuriboh and 2 Kuriboh as a Protection to E-Con take kills.

Definitely you don't play here, you don't even know how to farm gems. I built Archfiends for free back in the day and know I have U.A.s as well, the full deck for free, they cost around 10k gems, you just need to lvl up characters and play events. Last KC cup they gave away 2500 Gems.

So, any thoughts on Genex with their synchros? I know they’re not meta-relevant, but I really enjoyed playing them in the OCG/TCG and was wondering what others think would be good to use. I was thinking about a list like this, but I wanted some feedback since I usually don’t care about PvP at all. I don’t know what skill to use yet.

The fact that there are only 3 Spell/Trap Zone in Duel Link, ensure that Crystal Beast will not competitive at all, with no access to Crystal Abundance or Ancient City Rainbow Ruins, two of most effective and memorable Crystal Beast cards.

Mostly it will just release boring-but-staple Crystal Bonds & Rainbow Bridge, but yeah, still be horribly bad.

I don't think 3 spell/trap zones is a problem at all since they can edit the cards just like they did with emerald turtle. I'd say the game is fine with just 3

It means its is viable to use to climb to KOG. But you need the double the effort and luck to do it. Comparing to the top meta.

Means that you can reach kog with it.
As simple as that.

Some people prefer to buy the last/strongerst meta to reach the top easy. But some others just pick the deck they want to play. I bought Geargias back in the day and 0 regrets, the deck migth be a bit old but's still very effective; I bought BatteryMen and 0 regrets as well, reached kog with it some days ago.
