Man... This box is bad... Bahamut Shark could be good once toadally awesome comes out... King of the feral imps is a decent xyz for any deck running reptiles... Hi estou, those shark cards just seem like overkill, like, the deck doesn't need them, all they'll do is mean you probably don't have to use the skill that limits you to just water xyz... T.G is not good enough to warrant 3 UR slots, and this is coming from someone who tried to make them work in the try with crystron in the tcg... Rikka will probably do not a whole lot... Burning Abyss is bait, none of the really good burning Abyss cards are here, and they'll probably be reprinted when the rest of BA gets done cause of their low rarity. MST is bait, Witch is bad... It's all pretty trash

People calling the box bad. They still cant understand that this is duel links and not the tcg. Just take a look on leaked Antimony skills and come back again.

Are you implying MST is not trash?

Rikka ain't looking good enough, you can xyz easily but in exchange you are locked to plant monsters only.

If you want to go into a generic xyz you have to open a specific set of 2 cards or 3 if you didn't open rose lover

Let's see if that rank 8 plant is enough just by its big stats
    << Anonymous
    Anonymous Reply
their big probleme is: there is only 2 lvl4 monster in thier archetype; u will see so many bricks, the second probleme is they can't survive if there first normal summon is interompted (karma cut), the third is water deck and BED, thay can interompt the graveyard 'rose lover' and lvl 6 rikka will be stoped.

the last one is their boss monster has a weak stat.
    << Anonymous
    Anonymous Reply
C'mon anon that karma cut argument applies to most decks (NK, desperado, abyss dweller), it ain't a good argument anymore:

    Now about dodging backrow:

Do someone know if a facedown plant monster can still be tributed by a rikka monster?

With SM works, you can tribute a facedown recruiter but I don't know in rikka's case
    << Anonymous
    Anonymous Reply
Yes, you can Tribute FD plant monster, u can dodge Karma cut if u set that monster.
    Anonymous
here a how to play rikka deck:
-since 'Rose lover' is out from the ban list, we will see this deck with LS engine.
-my thaught after testing it, it's a very good deck going first but it will strugle going second bcs u can't run trunade. it's has a bad recovery and there is no good match vs other meta.
    -maybe its T3 deck.
    anonymous
well this box is good. the core card mostly trash. but wait a minutes mainbox have 200 packs. be patient
    Anonymous
If they put book of money instead of MST no one would've ever thought of skipping this trash box, I guess konami think thwt ppl still believe MST is OP for duellinks, the card got power crept way long ago, what a questionable decision!

Backrow isn't really relevant anymore unless you are playing quick-play spells or Karma Cut. The game has become combo-based. CC and MST isn't needed for most decks.
    << Anonymous

backrow is still relevant.look at gokies for eg.but in that can its unfair.
    << Anonymous
    Anonymous Reply
no, backrow is useless and the 2 best decks now are Onomat and TD which dont use backrow bc the former can draw 2 into trunade, the latter draw 2 into levianeer with chain blocking

Onomat just saved by trunade, for TD... Just hope they bricked

They probably put a seemingly powerful Synchro archetype exactly to bait people into buying/using Roach.

Roach's ruling made it extremely unappealing in the current meta.

d/d/d = overhyped then probably the 2nd biggest let down of last year

All the Burning Abyss cards we have here on this box are the trash ones.

No Cir, no Graff, no Scarm, no Farfa, no Virgil, NO DANTE (both Fusion and Xyz)......and obviously, no Beatrice either since there's no Dante.

And we also still don't have Tour Guide as a card.
    << Anonymous
    Anonymous Reply
Tour guide will be a playable character and the card herself will be the ace
    Anonymous
Rikkas will be the best deck in the box. It will be on the level of Aromages or Weather Painters. Definitely KOG worthy but not top tier. Other than that, if you don't want Rikkas or you don't have a water deck to upgrade, this box is a hard skip unless you are after one-of tech cards. MST is not needed if you own Cosmic Cyclone.
