why is it reptile???

why not? you can search any reptile monster, here some usefull cards to search: vaski, worm king,anta,chameleon, Lamia and alien ammonite.
but the best was: the tyrant neptune. :)

because Des Feral Imp is Reptile, that's my only guess.

It's still weird though, since original Feral Imp is Fiend.

Normal feral imp are just minions, a king must be different than a commoner. Just look how king of D. is a spellcaster while little D. is a dinosaur...

Reptile is always the weird one. Look at spherous lady, she looks like reptile in artwork, but the type is rock but description is vampire. Same goes for desert twister who is fiend despite looks like reptile.

When we get Dartz with Divine Serpent Geh this card can search it. Till then I think this is stuck with Worms and Aliens, poor thing.

Before some idiot tries to point a Yubel. The Gx anime and manga are treated as two entirely different things. So for all intents and purposes, the Yubel arc IS canon.
