Crusaders Control: deck recipe

“Arcana Force” is an archetype that has recently been introduced in Duel Links via the Sartorius Kumar Unlock Event. “Arcana Force” monsters are characterized by the fact that, upon being Summoned, they can gain one of two different effects, based on the result of a coin toss.

This is a Control Deck that revolves around Arcana Force VII - The Chariot. Thanks to Right Side Up!, this Level 4 Fairy-Type monster will gain the ability to Special Summon any monster it destroyed by battle.

When Arcana Force VII - The Chariot destroys an opponent’s monster by battle, it allows you to Special Summon it to your side of the field. You can use Paleozoic Hallucigenia to allow Arcana Force VII - The Chariot to get over high ATK monsters such as Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon and Masked HERO Anki. If you don’t have Paleozoic Hallucigenia, you can run Mirror Wall, Wall of Disruption or even Gravity Lash.

Arcana Force IV - The Emperor will increase the ATK of all your “Arcana Force” monsters, including itself, by 500, making it much easier for Arcana Force VII – The Chariot to get over your opponent’s monsters.

If you control multiple copies of Arcana Force IV - The Emperor, their effects will stack up.

Use Skull Meister to protect Arcana Force VII - The Chariot and to disrupt your opponent’s plays.

• You can send Skull Meister from your hand to the Graveyard to negate the effect of Geartown (or Ancient Gear Fortress) from the Graveyard and prevent your opponent from Summoning Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon.
• If Yubel is destroyed or Yubel - Terror Incarnate leaves the field, you can use Skull Meister to negate their floating effect.
• If your opponent banishes Survivals End or Diamond Core of Koa'ki Meiru from the Graveyard, you can use Skull Meister to negate their effect.

• If Arcana Force VII - The Chariot attacks an opponent's monster with the same ATK and they are both destroyed as a result of that battle, you do not get to Special Summon the opponent’s monster.
• If Arcana Force VII - The Chariot destroys Sangan or any other monster whose effect triggers if it’s sent to the Graveyard, the effect of that monster will activate and you will then be able to Special Summon it.
• If Arcana Force VII - The Chariot destroys a Vampire Familiar or a Vampire Retainer that was Special Summoned via its own effect and the monster is removed from the field, you will still be able to Special Summon it.

Right Side Up! allows you to completely ignore the terrible “tails” effects of Arcana Force VII - The Chariot and Arcana Force IV - The Emperor. There is really no other Skill you should run with this deck.

• The Deck only features 6 Monster Cards, if we exclude Skull Meister, so it is entirely possible to have none in your starting hand. You have a 79 to 87% chance to open with at least a copy of Arcana Force VII - The Chariot or Arcana Force IV - The Emperor.
• Hey, Trunade! can be used to return all of your Set Trap Cards to the hand, leaving you completely open. Cosmic Cyclone, Galaxy Cyclone and Double Cyclone are also particularly effective.
