Overview

A standard Lab Builder deck in that it uses Labyrinth Wall to stall turns. Use Massivemorph and take control of your opponent's monster instead of bringing your own powerful monsters to minimize key cards.

Labyrinth Builder Shuffle 2 cards from your hand into the Deck to create "Labyrinth Wall" on your side of the field. This skill can only be used once per Duel.	Paradox Brothers

How to use

Labyrinth Builder

Labyrinth Wall

Summon Labyrinth Wall with your skill as soon as possible. Prioritize sending last turn cards back to your deck when activating Labyrinth Builder.

Countering Vellian

Ancient Gear Tank

Ancient Gear Castle

Zero Gravity

Vellian has 3 possibly problematic cards Ancient Gear Tank, Ancient Gear Castle and Zero Gravity.

Dimension Gate

First thing you have to deal with is Zero Gravity, activate Dimension Gate to let Labyrinth Wall dodge it's effect.

Acidic Downpour

Planet Pathfinder

You will only need to worry about Ancient Gear Castle and Ancient Gear Tank if they boost Vellian's monster to more than 3000 attack, so activate Acidic Downpour as soon as possible. Acidic Downpour decreases the attack of all earth monsters by 500 and increases their defense by 400, both working to your advantage. Then only Ancient Gear Golem would be able to reach more than 3400 attack in which case you should activate Massivemorph on him.

Final Turn

Storm

Activate storm to clear your opponent's spell/trap zone, destroy set cards first to get rid of Zero Gravity. Activating Storm will also bring back your Labyrinth Wall by destroying Dimension Gate.

Massivemorph

Ancient Gear Golem

Enemy Controller

Use Massivemorph on Vellian's strongest monster, then use enemy controller to take that monster by tributing Labyrinth Wall.

Gravekeeper's Vassal

Secret Pass to the Treasures

Union Attack

Normal summon Gravekeeper's Vassal in face-up attack position, then use Secret Pass to the Treasures and 2 Union Attack on him. Direct attack for 9999+ damage.

Well you can use Emperoro Holiday and anti-magic replace it with storm

This deck relies on Massivemorphing the Golem and Econ take at the end to boost your Vassal so Massivemorph is a staple card in this deck.

Double Magical Arm Shield is possible, but requires a completely different Stall set-up.

Don't wait until final turn (as this page suggests) to activate Massivemorph (need at least 2 of it to get Ancient GG's atk over 10k).

At the final turn, when you activate Storm (which destroy your D.Gate to SS the Wall onto the field; and other Spell/Trap cards), you can't activate any Massivemorph again after that because it's a Trap card (duh!).

Activate Massivemorph as soon as Ancient GG get over 3k atk (you can wait until it surpass Wall's def: 3400 - Acidic Downpour effect but don't wait until around 2nd last turn).

This Lab deck is pretty well-balanced but I wonder why my RNG is so bad whenever I use this deck. All I got are some golds and keys. I use other farm deck which utilize Legendary Fisherman and the drop is somehow good.

Thus, it made me think, is any farm deck with ParaBros affect the RNG drop? Cuz their skills are literally used in almost all farm deck and Komoney might debuff them. Who knows?

I wouldn't be surprise... I use Paradox Bro to farm him and now that I have all his cards, I'll try something else.

I used Lab build with 3 massivemorph, 1 union, more draw-power instead of cat and pathfinder and had higher win chance ( cause he usually summon 1 or 2 golem in 5 6 turn and we don't have enough protection)

I think so too, because everytime I would use ceberus deck get 8-9k I would get nothing, so I stoped caring and used regular decks because i didn't feel like spending too much time farming, LD would drop more rainbow packs at 3-4k. happened several times with rex alexis, jaden.

you only need one massivemorph really, he always uses gear Golem wich morph should push to 6k with 2 unions that's 12k.I use time capsule to fish out massivemorph , sucks for those who don't have labyrinth builder because it made it a breeze to farm.

Why doesn’t union attack work sometiMes? I Econ take the massivemorphed ancient gear golem and the union attack shoes on the screen but my vassals atk remains 700

Crap, I never managed to get Dimension Gate.

Are there any possible substitutes, or am I locked out of using a Labyrinth Builder farming deck for Dr. Vellian Crowler?

This is not working anymore for the current event, Villain always attack directly and you are forced to bring Lab back from dimension gate.

You can also use Labyrnth Builder/Dimension Gate with Massivemorph and Amzoness Swords Woman for 6-7k, without having to run so many cloggy combo cards

This deck does not work!!! He attacks you directly every time unless you summon your wall and then he attacks with the other golem

this deck works pretty well. I tried it on lvl 40 Kaiba and it works. The caveat is that he can Twister the Dimension Gate, so you may need to use all three.
