If this card was sent from the Field to the Graveyard, inflict 600 damage to opponent.
Useful to destroy enemy monsters in 1 turn.

Cons

It is a limited edition card, you cannot farm for it.

Tips, Related Cards, Rulings

You can use an Ancient Gear monster that was equipped with this card, to perform a Tribute summon, and deal 600 damage to the opponent.
You can equip this card to your opponent’s Ancient Gear monster and then destroy that monster in battle, to further deal 600 damage to the opponent.
If this card is destroyed by effects such as Storm, Wild Tornado, Emergency Provisions or by Sacred Phoenix’s effect, it will still deal 600 damage to your opponent.
You can combo this card with Spell Gear’s effect, and send it to the graveyard to deal 600 damage to your opponent, and with Spell Gear’s effect, summon up to 2 Ancient Gear Golems to your field.

This card cheats... It specifically states when "destroyed" and sent to gy but activates by being sent to gy by any means

It basically means sent to the graveyard from the field, doesn't care by how it was sent.

You're right. A card sent to the graveyard by game mechanics should not be considered destroyed. Just like a tribute summon does not destroy your monster.

Except the game mechanic for Equip cards is that if the monster is removed from the field, the equip is considered to be destroyed.

to be honest I can't seem to fit this card in my 20 cards ancient gear deck.
I would definitely choose econ, rare metamorph or any other form of protection for my ancient gear since they are really weak to spells. convince me.

When it is equiped to a monster AND that monster gets destroyed THEN the spell card is ALSO destroyed. It isn't sent to the grave.
