If this face-up card is destroyed while in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard. While this card is treated as a Continuous Spell Card by this effect, during each player's Standby Phase: Place 1 Pumpkin Counter on this card. All monsters your opponent controls lose 100 ATK and DEF for each Pumpkin Counter on this card.

Pros

Works as well as Wonder Balloons without the need to discard card(s).
Effect happens continuously during each standby phase.
No limit to the number of counter that can be put on it.
Can only be stopped by using spell destruction cards like Twister.

Cons

Decreases your opponent's attacks slowly.
Takes up a spell/trap slot.

Tips

It is a very useful card that can be used in any deck since it lowers your opponent monsters attack.

Be careful when attacking a lowered monster since Twister is a quick-play spell that can be activated during your turn, increasing their attack back to normal.

With the addition of Straight Flush, it's recommended to not put 2 other spell/trap including this card since they can all get destroyed.

this card have ruined the game for me, its so broken its 🔥. I use a multi summon deck that fills out my board extremely fast. But if i don't 🔥 the guy fast enough i just have lost. Maybe if i were to get better cards still grinding i would be able to take it away with a spell card willout losing tempo. But right now its pretty much a insta loss.

I used a de spell on this card but it stayed on the field is there a reason for this or is it glitches?

Actually,pumprincess is considered a continuous spell when in the spell and trap zone. (Yugioh official rulings) The people who worked on it may have made a mistake or a bug in the game itself.

Why don't you run spell removal smh. Twister it. De-Spell it. Wild Tornado that 🔥. Hell even Straight Flush works.

ooo.. run tornado, flush,despell.. so easy to say but hard to execute...u need it in time to stop. And if the smart 🔥 run multiple pumpkins, you counter it by multiple twister, despell... Thats so inefficient and passive, adding these spell counters do not have direct effect on winning the game and overall weaken the deck. I might as well run multiple pumpkins myself... Think about it guys...

I desperately tried to get at least 1 wonder baloon but I never got one. Now I bought 5 walkyre packs and got 2 Pumprincess out of them. Finally luck was on my side :D

Or, mr John, you can do this amazing thing called Adapting? I mean, YuGiOh is basically based on that principle as well as all mildly competitive games. Swear you guys are amongst the whiniest & trolliest folks on the netz. -_-

The deck that don't need to attack, totally ignore it

The effect should not trigger while set. The trade off of this versus balloons is summoning it versus setting it. Because such low attack you are almost guaranteed to take a LP hit. its supposed to be paired with block attack or the lp trade off. The card would not explicitly say it otherwise it would be "when this card is destroyed" not "when this FACE UP card is destroyed"

But it DOESN'T activate while Set. If you attack it while Set, it now counts as flipped FaceUp, like Spirit Cards.

It DOES activate if it was destroyed by battle while Set.

If you activate a card effect that destroys it while it is face down, the effect doesn't activate, but as soon as you attack it, it will be flipped face up. The same is true for flip effect monsters.
