Gains 100 ATK for each Spell/Trap on the field and in the GYs. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. When a card or effect is activated that targets a card on the field (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

Annoyingly generic to summon, and almost nothing can beat over or remove it when it's out. Literally seeing it in Red Eyes decks now from players with King of the Swamp.

Indeed, which makes it so great.

Your opponent cannot counter this card by banishing/discarding it from your hand.
Once you draw Eyes of Timeus you get a 2 card combo.

Sigh, yet another card that's broken op and won't ever be nerfed.

Gotta love how there's a ban list with cards that were never op, and 🔥 like this gets a pass.

Yep. Broken card that not only has high ATK and can do piercing damage.

But to top it off it can negate targeting effects that not only affect itself but any card on the field. An effect which isn’t limited to once per turn either. Unless you have a specific counter to it ready which isn’t always the case you can’t do FA to get rid of it unless you can somehow beat over it or DMF it.

Why? Just let pay to win scrubs keep their broken op card that's easily countered by almost everything. All they have done is waste money lol

The best F2P card that counters Dark Cavalry is Amazoness Swordsmen. And this card was limited.

Oddly, every F2P cards that hard counters multiple Pay to Win cards get limited.

Anon above is probably right. Are you sure that the cards you try to negate do target?

It’s not bugged dude. Dark Cavalry can only negate targeting effects which affect a card on the field. Also to activate its effect you need to discard a card from your hand. Therefore if you have no cards in your hand you can’t activate its effect.
