How to Use

Keeper of Dragon Magic

Keeper of Dragon Magic
Keeper of Dragon Magic
DARK Dragon ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 1300
Master of Chaos [SR]
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can discard 1 card; add 1 "Polymerization" Normal Spell Card or "Fusion" Normal Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. You can reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck; Special Summon 1 of the Fusion Materials whose name is specifically listed on that monster from your GY, in face-down Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Keeper of Dragon Magic" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters, the turn you activate either of this card's effects.

Upon summoning you can use Keeper of Dragon Magic's effect to search Neos Fusion. The best cards to use as discard cost would be Elemental HERO Neos, Bacon Saver, or A/D Changer.

With Keeper of Dragon Magic's effect. reveal Brave Neos in your Extra Deck to revive Neos in face-down Defense Position. You can use that face-down Elemental HERO Neos as Fusion Material or flip it face-up later to use as a beater.

Keeper of Dragon Magic's Extra Deck restriction won't matter since we will only use Fusion monsters.

Elemental HERO Neos

Elemental HERO Neos
Elemental HERO Neos
LIGHT Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Jaden Yuki Duel Reward[UR]
A new Elemental HERO has arrived from Neo-Space! When he initiates a Contact Fusion with a Neo-Spacian, his unknown powers are unleashed.

Neos will be a key combo piece when making any of your Extra Deck monsters. Neos Fusion uses him as fusion material and he is the only monster in this deck that can be a Mask Change target.

Neo Space Connector
Neo Space Connector
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 800 / DEF 1800
Neos Fusion[SR]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Neo-Spacian" monster or 1 "Elemental HERO Neos" from your hand or Deck in Defense Position. You can Tribute this card, then target 1 "Neo-Spacian" monster or 1 "Elemental HERO Neos" in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Neo Space Connector" once per turn.

Neo Space Connector is a way of getting Neos onboard. Upon Normal Summoning Connector you get to Special Summon Neos from the deck, this Neos can be used as target for Mask Change.

Like Keeper, Connector's second effect will be used as a way to revive Neos. But unlike Keeper, Connector revives Neos face-up so you can immediately use him for Mask Change. With multiple ways of reviving Neos it is possible to only run 2 copies of him without hindering your ability to make Extra Deck monsters.

Neos Fusion

Neos Fusion
Neos Fusion
Normal Spell
Neos Fusion [SR]
Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists exactly 2 monsters as material, including “Elemental HERO Neos”, by sending those monsters from your hand, Deck, or field, ignoring its Summoning conditions. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters. If a Fusion Monster(s) you control that lists “Elemental HERO Neos” as material would be destroyed by battle or card effect, or shuffled into the Extra Deck by its own effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead.

Use Neos Fusion to Special Summon Elemental HERO Brave Neos from your Extra Deck by sending Elemental HERO Neos and a Level 4 or lower Effect Monster (ideally Bacon Saver or A/D Changer) from your hand, field or Deck to the Graveyard. After this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn, so make sure you Special Summon Lava Golem or activate Miracle Fusion before Neos Fusion.

You can banish Neos Fusion from your Graveyard to prevent Elemental HERO Brave Neos or Elemental HERO Neos Knight from being destroyed by battle or card effect.

Favorite Hero & Necrovalley

Favorite Hero
Favorite Hero
Equip Spell
HERO Generation [SR]
Equip only to a Level 5 or higher "HERO" monster. If you control a card in your Field Zone, the equipped monster gains ATK equal to its original DEF, also your opponent cannot target it with card effects. At the start of the Battle Phase: You can activate 1 Field Spell directly from your hand or Deck. You can only use this effect of "Favorite Hero" once per turn. When the equipped monster attacks and destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can send this card to the GY; the attacking monster can make a second attack in a row.

Equip Favorite Hero to any of your Fusion monsters. Favorite Hero will search Necrovalley at the start of your Battle Phase, which will result in the equipped monster getting a huge ATK boost and protection from targeting turning it into a formidable beater. If you are confident of your win you can send Favorite Hero to the graveyard, removing the ATK boost and protection, to get a second attack.

Necrovalley
Necrovalley
Field Spell
Dark Dimension [UR]
All "Gravekeeper's" monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF. Cards in the Graveyard cannot be banished. Negate any card effect that would move a card in the Graveyard to a different place. Negate any card effect that changes Types or Attributes in the Graveyard.

Necrovalley is a powerful control card that essentially prevents both players from interacting with their graveyard. This can shutdown powerful decks like Shiranui and Invoked that have graveyard interaction as part of their main strategy. It also stops tech cards like Kiteroid and Bacon Saver.

The downside is Necrovalley also prevents you from interacting with your graveyard. And as we see with this deck we have cards like Neos Fusion and Bacon Saver that banish themselves from the graveyard to activate, Masked HERO Koga that uses monsters in your graveyard as cost, and Keeper of Dragon Magic that has a revive effect. Because of this your playstyle should slightly change whether Necrovalley is on the field or not.

Masked HERO Koga

Masked HERO Koga
Masked HERO Koga
LIGHT Warrior ★8
ATK 2500 / DEF 1800
HERO Generation
Must be Special Summoned with "Mask Change" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card gains 500 ATK for each monster your opponent controls. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can banish 1 "HERO" monster from your Graveyard, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; that target loses ATK equal to the ATK of the monster banished to activate this effect, until the end of this turn.
Mask Change
Mask Change
Quick Spell
Valiant Souls [SR]
Target 1 "HERO" monster you control; send it to the Graveyard, also, after that, if it left the field by this effect, Special Summon 1 "Masked HERO" monster from your Extra Deck with the same Attribute that the sent monster had when it was on the field (its original Attribute, if face-down).

Summon Koga by targeting Neos or Brave Neos with Mask Change. Since Mask Change can target face-down monsters, the best monster to use as cost would be a Neos revived by Keeper of Dragon Magic.

Koga's debuff effect is effective at discouraging your opponent from attacking your monsters for fear of getting debuffed during battle. Your opponent will try to get rid of Koga with a removal effect first before they battle, which can be prevented by Favorite Hero's protection. When used offensively, Koga's debuff can open up an OTK chance for you combined with Favorite Hero. Prioritize banishing Fusion monsters in your graveyard, because they have no way of coming back.

Elemental HERO Brave Neos

Elemental HERO Brave Neos
Elemental HERO Brave Neos
LIGHT Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Neos Fusion [UR]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + 1 Level 4 or lower Effect Monster Must be Fusion Summoned. Gains 100 ATK for each “Neo-Spacian” and “HERO” monster in your GY. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can add 1 Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand that specifically lists the card “Elemental HERO Neos” in its text.

Elemental HERO Brave Neos gains 100 ATK for each “Neo-Spacian” and “HERO” monster in your Graveyard. If you have at least 1 Elemental HERO Neos in your Graveyard, Brave Neos will be able to get over a Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En, a Darklord Ixchel (in Attack Position), and it will tie with Darklord Nasten.

When Elemental HERO Brave Neos destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it allows you to add 1 Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand that specifically lists the card “Elemental HERO Neos” in its text. You can use Elemental HERO Brave Neos’s effect to search Neos Fusion or even a Miracle Contact.

IGN: Venom_94, Skill: Neo Space!, Date Submitted: July 11

Note by Venom_94:

This deck is really powerful and versatile. Necrovalley is basically a staple right now. Favorite Hero is awesome and gives Neos more powerful than ever.

Neos FusionMoSabry YT
IGN: MoSabry YT, Skill: Draw Sense: DARK, Date Submitted: July 26

Note by MoSabry YT:

It relies basically on shutting down graveyard as soon as possible and the equip spell protects the monster from being targeted by any effect ... Many decks utilize GY so much so Necrovalley shuts them down completely .. BUT at least 2 Nocrovalley is a must because there is much cosmic cyclone in high ranks.

Hmmm...are you sure lunalights dont do the EXACT same thing?
A doubt
Why can my opponent select my brave neos equipped with a favorite hero? (For example: Fortune Lady Every and other cards with similar banish effects).
Could it be that in the card description it does not specifically say the word "target" the opponent's card?
Despite the fact that you see the targeting animation in the game?
I do not know.

You pretty much already answered your own question :p
<< Anonymous(A doubt)

Yes, if a card doesn't use the word "target", it usually doesn't target.
Anonymous
Laughably easy to beat this deck. Just pop the equip spell and they are left with a weak beater.

Lol You need to buy 9 structure decks to complete this + 1-2 Necrovalley

Talk about money Nicely done, Konami!

Just hope they dont have mask change in their hand or on the field
Great Deck
2 Neos Fusion is enough to stay as meta.
The techs for this deck are usually BACON SAVER and A/D changer.

Not really econ or treacherous.

STILL AWESOME !

You can't use The Dark Hex to fusion summon Dark Calvary. You need to have a DM in your deck as well as a poly. That deck is pointless without either of those. And i tried
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It works if you have dark hex in your hand or field.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
The rulings for the "Hex" cards are set to where one monster needs to be the correct one. Meaning Dark Magician+Any Warrior monster/or Dark Hex. There are numerous warrior cards that could be use but only one Dark Magician. He still needs a DM, a poly, and dark hex but the deck has only 1 of those. If there's a video to prove me wrong, i'll be happy to look at it
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Dark Hex cannot replace the Warrior part, since fusion subs can only replace specifically named material.

In other words, it is replacing DM, not the Warrior.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yep, Dark Hex can only replace monsters that are specifically listened with their names.

Just check the official rulings if you're not sure (you know how to use google, don't you?)
Anonymous
Why isn't there a DM in the deck? You nesd it to fusion summon it with the Dark Hex. Or am i wrong since it requries one to be the "correct one."
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Dark Hex can substitute for DM. The problem I see is the lack of marginalized fusion or poly. Right now the only way to go into Dark Calvary is to have a warrior already on the field and use the Dark Hex effect.

I always said that sone of these decks put into the EX are for show. As for Dark Hex, i would assume you would use DM+Dark Hex to substitute a dark warrior for Hex and not the other way around

Some* Correction: I always said that with these created decks, some cards put into the EX deck are for show

Which 1 of these decks shown should I craft? Is one cheaper than the other?
