How to Use

Elemental HERO Neos

Elemental HERO Neos
Elemental HERO Neos
LIGHT Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Jaden Yuki Duel Reward[UR]
A new Elemental HERO has arrived from Neo-Space! When he initiates a Contact Fusion with a Neo-Spacian, his unknown powers are unleashed.

Neos will be a key combo piece when making any of your Extra Deck monsters. Neos Fusion uses him as fusion material and he is the only monster in this deck that can be a Mask Change target.

Neo Space Connector
Neo Space Connector
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 800 / DEF 1800
Neos Fusion[SR]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Neo-Spacian" monster or 1 "Elemental HERO Neos" from your hand or Deck in Defense Position. You can Tribute this card, then target 1 "Neo-Spacian" monster or 1 "Elemental HERO Neos" in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Neo Space Connector" once per turn.

Neo Space Connector is a way of getting Neos onboard. Upon Normal Summoning Connector you get to Special Summon Neos from the deck, this Neos can be used as target for Mask Change.

Like Keeper, Connector's second effect will be used as a way to revive Neos. But unlike Keeper, Connector revives Neos face-up so you can immediately use him for Mask Change. With multiple ways of reviving Neos it is possible to only run 2 copies of him without hindering your ability to make Extra Deck monsters.

Neo-Spacians

The Neo-Spacians are in the deck to basically give Neos options for the extra deck. You can use them as one of the fusion material with Neos Fusion, or special summoned from the deck with Connector's effect.

The fusions that require specific Neo-Spacians has a similar effect where they have to return back to the extra deck unless Neo Space is on the field. Make sure to not activate their end phase effects to prevent going back to the extra deck.

Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
EARTH Rock ★3
ATK 900 / DEF 300
Mechanic Souls [SR]
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent's monster: You can return the opponent's monster and this card to the hand.

Its effect is a pretty strong form of removal since it doesn't even target. Works best on extra deck monsters since they can't easily normal summon them.

Grand Mole's effect will not work if you set the monster and it's attacked, but it will work if you use it to attack a set monster without flipping up the set card, preventing flip effects from happening.

This also leads to one of the stronger options for a Neos fusion monster, since it becomes Grand Neos, being able to return your opponent's monster from the field to the hand.

Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin
Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin
WATER Aqua ★3
ATK 600 / DEF 800
Galactic Origin [R]
Neos Fusion [R]
Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; look at your opponent's hand and choose 1 Monster Card in it. If you control a monster with ATK greater than or equal to the ATK of the chosen card, destroy the chosen card and inflict 500 damage to your opponent. Otherwise, take 500 damage.

This can get rid of your opponent's hand traps or to simply see the cards in your opponent's hands.

If you have Connector and Neos in hand, you can use Connector to special summon Dolphin from the deck. Discard the Neos and use Connector's effect again to special summon the Neos from the grave. This will let you contact fuse into Aqua Neos, where you can then activate its effect to destroy a random card in your opponent's hand.

Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird
Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird
WIND Winged Beast ★3
ATK 800 / DEF 600
Galactic Origin [N]
Neos Fusion [N]
Once per turn: You can gain 500 Life Points for each card in your opponent's hand.

Best used in turn 1 when your opponent has yet to play any cards, but it's not really worth it since it won't lead to much other than potentially preventing an OTK.

Since there is no Neos fusion monster that uses only Hummingbird, you can use Neos Fusion to make Brave Neos by using Hummingbird from the deck. Sending Hummingbird to the grave like this sets you up so you can use Miracle Contact to make Storm Neos using monsters from the grave.

Neo-Spacian Glow Moss
Neo-Spacian Glow Moss
LIGHT Plant ★3
ATK 300 / DEF 900
Galactic Origin [N]
Neos Fusion [N]
When this card attacks or is attacked: Your opponent draws 1 card. Reveal it, and based on its type apply this effect. ● Monster: End the Battle Phase. ● Spell: If this card is attacking, you can change it to a direct attack instead. ● Trap: Change this card to Defense Position.

Not that great of a stall card on its own since there are plenty of monster removals commonly used that don't involve battling, but having this enables the deck to make Glow Neos so you can have a card removal effect.

Neos Fusion

Neos Fusion
Neos Fusion
Normal Spell
Neos Fusion [SR]
Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists exactly 2 monsters as material, including “Elemental HERO Neos”, by sending those monsters from your hand, Deck, or field, ignoring its Summoning conditions. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters. If a Fusion Monster(s) you control that lists “Elemental HERO Neos” as material would be destroyed by battle or card effect, or shuffled into the Extra Deck by its own effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead.

Use Neos Fusion to Special Summon Elemental HERO Brave Neos from your Extra Deck by sending Elemental HERO Neos and a Level 4 or lower Effect Monster (ideally Bacon Saver or A/D Changer) from your hand, field or Deck to the Graveyard. After this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn, so make sure you Special Summon Lava Golem or activate Miracle Fusion before Neos Fusion.

You can banish Neos Fusion from your Graveyard to prevent Elemental HERO Brave Neos or Elemental HERO Neos Knight from being destroyed by battle or card effect.

Reinforcement of the Army

Reinforcement of the Army
Reinforcement of the Army
Normal Spell
Starter/Special Set Bundle Sale [UR]
Add 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior monster from your Deck to your hand.

Main Core Tech to search out Neo Space Connector for combo setup.

Miracle Contact

Miracle Contact
Miracle Contact
Normal Spell
Card Trader [UR]
Shuffle into the Deck, from your hand, field, or Graveyard, the Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on an "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster that lists "Elemental HERO Neos" as a Fusion Material, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

Lets you make a Neos fusion monster before using Neos Fusion, or as a follow-up for the next turn after using Neos Fusion. Being able to use monsters from the grave means it can help replenish resources, but putting Neos and a Neo Spacian back to the deck can end up being bad if you draw them in the draw phase.

Convert Contact

Convert Contact
Convert Contact
Normal Spell
Card Trader [R]
Activate only while you control no monsters. Send 1 "Neo-Spacian" monster from your hand and 1 from your Deck to the Graveyard. Then draw 2 cards.

To get more draws if you get a Neo-Spacian in your hand. The ones sent to the grave can still be used for Miracle Contact or NEXT.

NEXT

NEXT
NEXT
Normal Trap
Neos Fusion [R]
Special Summon any number of monsters with different names from your hand and/or GY, in Defense Position, that are all “Neo-Spacian” monsters or “Elemental HERO Neos”, but negate their effects, and as long as you control any of those Special Summoned monsters face-up, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters. You can only activate 1 "NEXT" per turn. If you control no cards, you can activate this card from your hand.

Helps with card recovery since you can bring back monsters in the grave, then you can follow it up with a Neos Fusion again.

It's also pretty decent as a handtrap to block attacks if necessary, preventing some OTKs.

Extra Decks

Elemental HERO Brave Neos
Elemental HERO Brave Neos
LIGHT Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Neos Fusion [UR]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + 1 Level 4 or lower Effect Monster Must be Fusion Summoned. Gains 100 ATK for each “Neo-Spacian” and “HERO” monster in your GY. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can add 1 Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand that specifically lists the card “Elemental HERO Neos” in its text.

Elemental HERO Brave Neos gains 100 ATK for each “Neo-Spacian” and “HERO” monster in your Graveyard. If you have at least 1 Elemental HERO Neos in your Graveyard, Brave Neos will be able to get over a Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En, a Darklord Ixchel (in Attack Position), and it will tie with Darklord Nasten.

When Elemental HERO Brave Neos destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it allows you to add 1 Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand that specifically lists the card “Elemental HERO Neos” in its text. You can use Elemental HERO Brave Neos’s effect to search Neos Fusion or even a Miracle Contact.

Elemental HERO Storm Neos
Elemental HERO Storm Neos
WIND Warrior ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Galactic Origin [SR]
Neos Fusion [SR]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird" + "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) Once per turn: You can destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. During the End Phase: Shuffle this card into the Extra Deck. When this card is shuffled into the Extra Deck this way: Shuffle all cards on the field into the Deck.

Can be difficult to summon since it requires some setting up. You can search them out with Connector and Neos Fusion, but not separate them through cards that bring them back to the deck like through contact fusion or Miracle Contact.

Storm Neos has the highest base ATK in the deck and a strong effect to destroy or force out your opponent's backrow, but if you simply need the ATK, you can go with Neos Knight instead.

Elemental HERO Grand Neos
Elemental HERO Grand Neos
EARTH Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Mechanic Souls [UR]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; return that target to the hand. During the End Phase: Shuffle this card into the Extra Deck.

Strong form of removal that can be used before the battle phase, but it's a targeted effect compared to Grand Mole. You'll have to choose carefully if you should choose Grand Mole's return effect or Grand Neos' effect.

Elemental HERO Aqua Neos
Elemental HERO Aqua Neos
WATER Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Galactic Origin [R]
Neos Fusion [R]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; destroy 1 random card in your opponent's hand. During the End Phase: Shuffle this card into the Extra Deck.

Gives the deck a decent turn 1 play with Connector and Aqua Dolphin + a follow up from Aqua Neos' effect. It's also a 3000 ATK monster on the field with Neo Space available from the skill, so it's high enough to beat over many monsters.

Elemental HERO Neos Knight
Elemental HERO Neos Knight
LIGHT Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 1000
Blades of Spirits [R]
Neos Fusion [R]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + 1 Warrior-Type monster
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. This card gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the Warrior-Type Fusion Material Monster used to Fusion Summon this card, other than "Elemental HERO Neos". This card can attack twice during each Battle Phase. If this card attacks or is attacked, your opponent takes no Battle Damage.

Has ATK increasing effect, but it won't be that useful here since there are not many high ATK warrior monsters. You can't use double Neos to get the ATK increase and its attack will reset if it ever gets flipped face-down or temporarily banished.

Elemental HERO Glow Neos
Elemental HERO Glow Neos
LIGHT Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Galactic Origin [N]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Glow Moss"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) During the End Phase: Shuffle this card into the Extra Deck. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy that target, then apply the effect based on its type. ● Monster: This card cannot attack this turn. ● Spell: This card can attack your opponent directly this turn. ● Trap: Change this card to Defense Position.

Gives the deck a card removal effect, but comes with some tricky consequences. A safe card to use it on is your opponent's field spell for the direct attack since selecting a set backrow card will often just force them to use it, which in most cases is something that can stop an attack.

Other Cards Option

Other Neo-Spacian Techs

Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab
Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab
FIRE Insect ★3
ATK 500 / DEF 500
Servants of Kings [N]
Neos Fusion [N]
This card gains 400 ATK for each Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls.

So you can use Flare Neos, which is a decent alternative if you are lacking some cards.

Elemental HERO Flare Neos

Elemental HERO Flare Neos
Elemental HERO Flare Neos
FIRE Warrior ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Servants of Kings [R]
"Elemental HERO Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab"

Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) This card gains 400 ATK for each Spell/Trap Card on the field. During the End Phase: Shuffle this card into the Extra Deck.

Potentially a high ATK beater, but if your opponent has a lot of set cards, chances are Flare Neos isn't going to be able to attack anyway.

Field Spells

Necrovalley
Necrovalley
Field Spell
Dark Dimension [UR]
All "Gravekeeper's" monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF. Cards in the Graveyard cannot be banished. Negate any card effect that would move a card in the Graveyard to a different place. Negate any card effect that changes Types or Attributes in the Graveyard.

Necrovalley is a powerful control card that essentially prevents both players from interacting with their graveyard. This can shutdown powerful decks like Shiranui and Invoked that have graveyard interaction as part of their main strategy. It also stops tech cards like Kiteroid and Bacon Saver.

The downside is Necrovalley also prevents you from interacting with your graveyard. And as we see with this deck we have cards like Neos Fusion and Bacon Saver that banish themselves from the graveyard to activate, Masked HERO Koga that uses monsters in your graveyard as cost, and Keeper of Dragon Magic that has a revive effect. Because of this your playstyle should slightly change whether Necrovalley is on the field or not.

Summon Breaker
Summon Breaker
Field Spell
Secrets of the Ancients [N]
During Main Phase 1, if the turn player successfully conducts their third Summon of a monster(s) this turn: It becomes the End Phase.

Very powerful card that's useful against many meta decks, but there's also plenty of spell/trap removals being used in the meta, so this is likely not going to get to stay that long.

Favorite Hero

Favorite Hero
Favorite Hero
Equip Spell
HERO Generation [SR]
Equip only to a Level 5 or higher "HERO" monster. If you control a card in your Field Zone, the equipped monster gains ATK equal to its original DEF, also your opponent cannot target it with card effects. At the start of the Battle Phase: You can activate 1 Field Spell directly from your hand or Deck. You can only use this effect of "Favorite Hero" once per turn. When the equipped monster attacks and destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can send this card to the GY; the attacking monster can make a second attack in a row.

Equip Favorite Hero to any of your Fusion monsters. Favorite Hero will result in the equipped monster getting a huge ATK boost and protection from targeting turning it into a formidable beater. If you are confident of your win you can send Favorite Hero to the graveyard, removing the ATK boost and protection, to get a second attack.

[December 2021] KOG Notes

Narrow

Neo-SpacianNarrowNeo-Spacian Narrow2
IGN: Narrow, Skill: Neo Space!, Date Submitted: Dec 16

Noted By Narrow:

I reach KOG finally with a Neo-spacian deck (and not with a meta deck ahahahah), it has many strategies. The best hand you have is a Neos fusion, or a Neo spacian with Convert contact.

You have to summon brave neos if second to go, or aqua Neos if first (to destroy opponent hand). You can do all this thinks thanks neo space connector and his effect to summon Neos, Aqua dolphin or grand mole, than contact fusion (you can discard neos from your hand with dolphin effect and than summon Neos with neo space connector) or summon N 47 to attack directly (is easy to summon thanks neo space connector).

If you need you can summon Storm neos to destroy all magic and trap cards, or shuffle all cards into deck, than summon monsters with NEXT and attack in your turn.

This deck is very funny and can beat all meta decks such as Harpies, Melodius, D-Hero etc.

Do you have any idea how many fusion cards like this are w8ing to be released? You will be suprised. The funny thing is that none cares about red eyes fusion although is almost the same. W8 until the rest of red eyes fusion family get released. Then the ban/limit rage will begin.

Neos fusion is not the problem dude it's brave neos.
That Neos + EFFECT MONSTER is what makes it broken, basically foolish burial.
If brave neos wasn't in the game people would have to use those trash neo spacians that don't do sh it in the gy, as it was intended.
Give neos fusion a run without brave neos in your extra deck and see what I mean.

Heh brave neos is broken in every deck except in a pure hero deck

Red-eyes fusion will never be as good as neos fusion, except for the fusion monsters. Neos fusion allows you to summon or special before activating it, even allows normal summons after activation. Red-eyes fusion locks from any summon, before or after. Neos fusion also provide protection, destruction immunity
A doubt
Why can my opponent select my brave neos equipped with a favorite hero? (For example: Fortune Lady Every and other cards with similar banish effects).
Could it be that in the card description it does not specifically say the word "target" the opponent's card?
Despite the fact that you see the targeting animation in the game?
I do not know.

Yes, if a card doesn't use the word "target", it usually doesn't target.

Laughably easy to beat this deck. Just pop the equip spell and they are left with a weak beater.

You can't use The Dark Hex to fusion summon Dark Calvary. You need to have a DM in your deck as well as a poly. That deck is pointless without either of those. And i tried
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It works if you have dark hex in your hand or field.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
The rulings for the "Hex" cards are set to where one monster needs to be the correct one. Meaning Dark Magician+Any Warrior monster/or Dark Hex. There are numerous warrior cards that could be use but only one Dark Magician. He still needs a DM, a poly, and dark hex but the deck has only 1 of those. If there's a video to prove me wrong, i'll be happy to look at it
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Dark Hex cannot replace the Warrior part, since fusion subs can only replace specifically named material.

In other words, it is replacing DM, not the Warrior.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yep, Dark Hex can only replace monsters that are specifically listened with their names.

Just check the official rulings if you're not sure (you know how to use google, don't you?)
Anonymous
Why isn't there a DM in the deck? You nesd it to fusion summon it with the Dark Hex. Or am i wrong since it requries one to be the "correct one."
<< Anonymous

Dark Hex can substitute for DM. The problem I see is the lack of marginalized fusion or poly. Right now the only way to go into Dark Calvary is to have a warrior already on the field and use the Dark Hex effect.
