Equip only to a Level 5 or higher "HERO" monster. If you control a card in your Field Zone, the equipped monster gains ATK equal to its original DEF, also your opponent cannot target it with card effects. At the start of the Battle Phase: You can activate 1 Field Spell directly from your hand or Deck. You can only use this effect of "Favorite Hero" once per turn. When the equipped monster attacks and destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can send this card to the GY; the attacking monster can make a second attack in a row.

This card allows you to search and activate any Field Spell from your deck so you can use generic tech Field Spells like Necrovalley. Aside from that Skyscraper can give your Elemental HERO monsters a significant ATK boost.
Equip Favorite HERO to Elemental HERO Bladedge because of its piercing effect to deal damage to your opponent.
Most of the high-level HERO monsters are Fusion monsters so they are the ones you will usually equip with Favorite HERO. Brave Neos and Neos Knight are good because of how easy they are to summon with Neos Fusion. The HERO monsters that use non-specific materials are also relatively easy to summon, especially Great Tornado and Gaia which can lead to OTKs with the ATK boost from Favorite Hero.
A quick way to make a high-leveled HERO is with Masked Change. Masked HERO Koga and Masked HERO Blast can lead to an OTK by debuffing the opponent’s monster. Masked HERO Anki and Masked HERO Dian can benefit from the extra attack given by Favorite HERO.
