Dragon’s Mirror is useful for summoning Dragon-type Fusion monsters requiring a large amount of materials.

Any card that can load your graveyard with fusion materials to be used for a Dragon Fusion monster would be good. Future Fusion can lead to you summoning 2 Fusion monsters. That Grass Looks Greener and Lightsworn monsters can mill cards from the top of your deck.

since it's only available through a skill, it won't be added to the game as a regular card, the skill would lose all purpose at that point

The skill still has some purpose giving you an extra copy of Dragon’s Mirror and the ability to search a copy when you lose 1500 lp.

I don't see how thays they case since we have miracle and magicalized fusion and they haven't produced T1 decks and I don't see any game breaking dragon fusions.

They have never altered the existing level rewards of any character. They've only ever added to them.
