The main idea of this deck is to Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon using the effect of Temple of the Kings. Use a Riryoku on a monster with at least 1000 ATK and give Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon additional 500+ ATK points. Yugi Muto tends to use Magical Blast when his deck size is 2 or lower, so you will be able to achieve Cards on the Brink, improving the assessment points further.
At the start of your game, use Leotaur, The Hunter with 7 Weapons and 4-Starred Ladybug of Doom to stall early game. You can also use Windstorm of Etaqua and Curse of Anubis to fend off attacks. You can especially use Ready for Intercepting to reset the spell counters of Yugi's spell-dependent monster cards such as Mythical Beast Cerberus and Silent Magician LV4.
In the event that Yugi is able to successfully summon multiple monsters with more than 2000 ATK each, you can use Last Day of Witch since all of Yugi's monsters are effect, spellcaster-type monsters. You will most likely lose the game if Yugi is able to successfully summon Silent Magician LV8 so try not to let him do so. The only way to deal with Silent Magician LV8 is to change it into defense position with the above trap cards and attack it immediately since it has only 1000 DEF.
In order to activate Titan Showdown skill, you will need to either lower your LP or increase Yugi's LP so that there's a x2 difference. If you took more than 500 damage, you can use Amazoness Chain Master to lower yourself further for the skill to activate, but this can be dangerous since Yugi has Magical Blast. The other way is you can activate Mirror Wall and choose to pay for prolonging the card by paying 2000 LP. This is good if you never took damage from the start of the duel.
Alternatively, you can use cards like The Eye of Truth to heal Yugi instead. You will need to bring a twister so that he doesn't heal to more than you can handle though.
Titan Showdown skill will double your direct attack damage from 5000 ATK to 10000 ATK points. Hence, it will be able to achieve the 'more than 9999 points of damage dealt' assessment. If you use the skill, use Amazoness Chain Master, Mirror Wall, and other cards that safely decrease your LP.
Card | Explanation |
---|---|
Enemy Controller | Can be used instead of Sphere Kuriboh but more risky as it is a spell card which contributes to spell counters. |
Murmur of the Forest | Allows you to switch a monster card into face-down position. Can be used instead of Ready for Intercepting but more risky as it is a spell card which contributes to spell counters. |
Curse of Anubis | Extra layer of defense if you are lacking any. This works well since all of Yugi's monsters are effect monsters. |
