How to Play

Tuners and Quillbolt Headgehog

Quillbolt Hedgehog
Quillbolt Hedgehog
EARTH Machine ★2
ATK 800 / DEF 800
Warriors Unite [SR]
If this card is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You must control a Tuner monster to activate and to resolve this effect.

Get Quillbolt Hedgehog in the Graveyard as part of your setup. From there, Quillbolt Hedgehog can revive itself to pair with a Tuner on the field for a quick Synchro Summon.

You can also Special Summon Quillbolt Hedgehog with Junk Synchron's effect so you'll have another chance to reuse Quillbolt Hedgehog later.

Quickdraw Synchron
Quickdraw Synchron
WIND Machine ★5
ATK 700 / DEF 1400
Warriors Unite [UR]
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by sending 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard. For a Synchro Summon, you can substitute this card for any 1 "Synchron" Tuner monster. Cannot be used as a Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of a monster that lists a "Synchron" monster as a Tuner.

Quickdraw Synchron has great Synergy with Quillbolt Hedgehog, functioning as a way to get it in the graveyard and as a Tuner to pair with it. Discard Quillbolt Hedgehog to Special Summon Quickdraw Synchron, then revive Quillbolt Hedgehog with its own effect. Use both monsters to make a Level-7 Synchro such as Junk Archer or Nitro Warrior.

Junk Synchron

Junk Synchron
Junk Synchron
DARK Warrior ★3
ATK 1300 / DEF 500
Secrets of the Ancients [UR]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 2 or lower monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Defense Position, but its effects are negated.

Junk Synchron is a great Synchro enabler due to being a Tuner with the ability to Special Summon a non-Tuner pair. It's no coincidence that the non-Tuner monsters in this Deck are mostly Level-2, pairing well with Junk Synchron to make Junk Warrior and other Level-5 Synchros.

Junk Converter

Junk Converter
Junk Converter
EARTH Warrior ★2
ATK 400 / DEF 200
Stardust Nexus [SR]
You can discard this card and 1 Tuner; add 1 "Synchron" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as Synchro Material: You can target 1 Tuner in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in Defense Position, but it cannot activate its effects this turn. You can only use each effect of "Junk Converter" once per turn.

Junk Converter is a great way to start your combos. Discard it to fetch either Junk Synchron or Quickdraw Synchron. Junk Synchron would be the more general option because with Junk Converter in the Graveyard, you have the necessary setup to make a Level-5 Synchro. But if you also have Quillbolt Hedgehog on-hand or in the Graveyard, you can search Quickdraw Synchron to make Nitro Warrior.

Tuning Gum

Tuning Gum
Tuning Gum
DARK Fiend ★1
ATK 400 / DEF 1200
Dark Dimension [N]
Selection Box Vol. 02 [N]
You can target 1 face-up monster you control; that face-up monster is treated as a Tuner this turn. You can only use this effect of "Tuning Gum" once per turn. You can only attack with Synchro Monsters during the turn you activate this effect. During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets exactly 1 Synchro Monster you control (and no other cards): You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate the activation.

Being a Level-1 Tuner, the best use of Tuning Gum on the field is to upgrade your Level-7 Synchros into Level-8s. Then while it is in the graveyard, Tuning Gum functions as a single-use protection for a Synchro monster you control.

Rush Warrior

Rush Warrior
Rush Warrior
WIND Warrior ★2
ATK 300 / DEF 1200
Future Horizon [SR]
During damage calculation (in either player's turn), if a "Warrior" Synchro Monster you control battles an opponent's monster: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; your battling monster's ATK becomes double its current ATK during that damage calculation only. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 "Synchron" monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Rush Warrior" once per turn.

Rush Warrior gives your monster a huge ATK boost during battle, easily putting them near 5000 ATK. This can be used to take down powerful monsters and deal huge damage to the opponent. The Graveyard effect gives Rush Warrior some additional utility, as a way to recycle your Synchrons.

Extra Decks

Battlewasp - Hama the Conquering Bow
Battlewasp - Hama the Conquering Bow
WIND Insect ★8
ATK 2800 / DEF 2000
Witchs Sorcery [UR]
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
If this card was Synchro Summoned using a Synchro Monster as material, it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. You can only use each of the following effects of "Battlewasp - Hama the Conquering Bow" once per turn.
● When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can make all monsters your opponent currently controls lose 1000 ATK/DEF.
● At the end of your Battle Phase, if your opponent has not taken any battle damage this Phase: You can inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each "Battlewasp" monster in your GY.

Hama can be summoned at full power by using Tuning Gum and one of your Level-7 Synchros as material. The double attack effect makes it great at dealing damage, complimented by the huge debuff to enemy monsters helping Hama take down even stronger enemies.

Junk Destroyer
Junk Destroyer
EARTH Warrior ★8
ATK 2600 / DEF 2000
Revolution Beginning [UR]
"Junk Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target cards on the field, up to the number of non-Tuner monsters used for the Synchro Summon of this card; destroy those targets.

Rush Warrior can retrieve Junk Synchron so you can use that to Synchro climb from Junk Warrior to Junk Destroyer, for a stronger beater with a removal effect upon summoning.

Junk Warrior
Junk Warrior
DARK Warrior ★5
ATK 2300 / DEF 1300
Structure Deck: Synchro Connection [UR]
Stardust Nexus [UR]
"Junk Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned: It gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all Level 2 or lower monsters you currently control.

One of your basic Synchro monters to be summoned with Junk Synchron. Junk Warrior is basically a beater you can boost by having Level-2 and lower monster on the field. But the boost won't last because these low-Level monsters are usually fragile.

Junk Archer
Junk Archer
EARTH Warrior ★7
ATK 2300 / DEF 2000
Future Horizon [SR]
"Junk Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it. During the End Phase of this turn, return it to your opponent's side of the field, in the same battle position.

Junk Archer can be made with Quickdraw Synchron and Quillbolt Hedgehog's combo. The temporary banishing effect is good against Xyz monsters because this removes all of their materials. Junk Archer is also the ideal monster to summon when you Synchro climb. Use its effect to remove an enemy monster before using Junk Archer with Tuning Gum to make a Level-8 Synchro.

Nitro Warrior
Nitro Warrior
FIRE Warrior ★7
ATK 2800 / DEF 1800
Warriors Unite [SR]
"Nitro Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once during each of your turns, if you activated a Spell Card, this card gains 1000 ATK during the next attack this turn involving this card, during damage calculation only. If this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, after damage calculation: You can target 1 face-up Defense Position monster your opponent controls; change that target to Attack Position, then this card can make a second attack in a row, on that monster.

Nitro Warrior is a great beater and damage dealer. The huge inherent ATK boost is not difficult to activate especially with generic Quick-Play Spell techs like MST. Then the double attack effect is great for pushing damage and clearing enemy monsters.

Weaknesses

  • Cards like Paleozoic Canadia and Floodgate Trap Hole can be used to prevent you from Synchro Summoning. Going 1st is usually a lot better because it means that you don’t have to worry about disruption.

  • The Sanctified Darklord, Fiendish Chain, and Forbidden Chalice can negate the effects of Junk Synchron or Goyo Guardian.

  • The deck is really solid when it comes to consistency, but there are a few cards don’t interact with each other. This can lead to some weak opening hands.

Other Useful Cards

Lightsworn Engine

Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn
Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 1000
Judgement Force [SR]
During your Main Phase: You can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, then if any "Lightsworn" monsters were sent to the Graveyard by this effect, this card gains 200 ATK until the end of your opponent's turn. You can only use this effect of "Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn" once per turn. Once per turn, during your End Phase: Send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.
Charge of the Light Brigade

They should release this card but make it so that you can only activate it once per week per acco...
Noah is in the game. But you have to unlock Atticus (GX) first before you can unlock him.
