Duel Links Synchron deck, Synchron in the current meta, how to use.
update 06/09/2022

Set Skill

[Skill] descriptionUser
Shooting Star Road
At the beginning of the Duel, place 1 "Junk Converter" to your Graveyard.
In addition, if you control "Stardust Dragon," play "Formula Synchron" to the field from outside of your Deck. Then, you can place 3 Tuners to the top of your Deck from outside of your Deck. You can only Special Summon Dragon-Type Wind Synchro Monsters or "Warrior" Synchro Monsters until the end of your opponent's next turn.
This Skill can only be used once per Duel if you begin the Duel with a Deck that follows the condition below:
● Your Deck contains at least 8 "Junk" or "Synchron" monsters
● Your Extra Deck contains at least 1 "Shooting Star Dragon" and at least 4 "Junk," "Synchron," or "Stardust" monsters.
Yusei Fudo
Yusei Fudo

How to Play

Quickdraw Synchron

Quickdraw Synchron
Quickdraw Synchron
WIND Machine ★5
ATK 700 / DEF 1400
Warriors Unite [UR]
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by sending 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard. For a Synchro Summon, you can substitute this card for any 1 "Synchron" Tuner monster. Cannot be used as a Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of a monster that lists a "Synchron" monster as a Tuner.

An easy tuner to special summon, but it's only used to synchro into Junk Destroyer or Chevalier de Fleur because of its effect.

Activate Quickdraw from your hand by sending a Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion from hand to grave, which will then special summon a level 3 token to your side of the field.

Junk Synchron

Junk Synchron
Junk Synchron
DARK Warrior ★3
ATK 1300 / DEF 500
Secrets of the Ancients [UR]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 2 or lower monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Defense Position, but its effects are negated.

Since the skill already provides a level 2 monster in the grave at the start of the duel, you can summon this without having to set up your graveyard to be able to make synchro plays. It now becomes a 1 card play that can become a Shooting Star Dragon.

Normal summon Junk Synchron to special summon the Junk Converter from the grave and synchro into any level 5. Converter's effect will activate and special summon Synhcron back to your field. Synchro into a level 8 and activate Yusei's skill to put Formula Synchron to your field.

You can synchro into Shooting Star Dragon as a quick effect during your opponent's main phase to dodge a card, or just synchro right away to have Shooting Star Dragon's effect ready to react.

Since the deck can sometimes use up a lot of resources to summon 1 main boss monster on your field, you will need a card to prevent effects like Book of Moon or Karma Cut, and Tuning Gum is that card.

You can discard this by using cards like Quickdraw Synchron or Junk Converter.

Its main effect will rarely ever be used since most of the cards in the deck are tuners, except for Junk Converter and some synchro monsters.

Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion

Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion
Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion
WIND Machine ★2
ATK 600 / DEF 1000
Cybernetic Rebellion [UR]
You can banish this card from your Graveyard; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster from your hand. While you control a Token, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast Token" (Machine-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/DEF 0). You can only use this effect of "Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion" once per turn.

Mainly used in the deck to special summon a level 3 token when discarded. If you discard with Quickdraw, you can go into a Junk Destroyer. If you discard with Converter, you can search for Junk Synchron.

Normal summoning Junk Synchron this way lets you go into a Stardust Dragon faster than the normal method since you essentially skipped having to summon Junk Warrior.

D.D. Crow

D.D. Crow
D.D. Crow
DARK Winged Beast ★1
ATK 100 / DEF 100
Shining Hope [UR]
Selection Box Vol.05 [UR]
During either player's turn: You can discard this card to the Graveyard to target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish that target.

Great Disruptive Techs for countering the Current Meta nowadays. It could be revived by Junk Synchron's effect and dive into Samsara, Dragon of Rebirth Synchro Summoning.

Super Quantums

Super Quantum Red Layer
Super Quantum Red Layer
FIRE Warrior ★5
ATK 2000 / DEF 800
Shining Sunrise [SR]
If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only use each of these effects of "Super Quantum Red Layer" once per turn.
● When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 "Super Quant" card in your Graveyard; add it to your hand.
● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Super Quant" monster in your Graveyard, except "Super Quantum Red Layer"; Special Summon it, but it cannot activate its effects.

Red Layer's first effect is just same as Cyber Dragon's Self-Special Summon effect. Pair with Junk Synchro could be synchro summoning Level 8 Synchro Monsters easily or with Quickdraw Synchro to Xyz Summon Magnaliger.

Super Quantal Mech Beast Magnaliger
Super Quantal Mech Beast Magnaliger
FIRE Machine ★5
ATK 2600 / DEF 2000
Shining Sunrise [UR]
2 Level 5 monsters
Cannot attack unless it has material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy it. This is a Quick Effect if this card has "Super Quantum Red Layer" as material. Once per turn: You can attach 1 "Super Quantum" monster from your hand or field to this card as material.

Monster Removal of this Deck. As long as you have "Super Quantum" monster in your hand, you can keep filling up Magnaliger's Xyz Material by attaching those monsters from your hand to it.

Junk Converter

Junk Converter
Junk Converter
EARTH Warrior ★2
ATK 400 / DEF 200
Stardust Nexus [SR]
You can discard this card and 1 Tuner; add 1 "Synchron" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as Synchro Material: You can target 1 Tuner in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in Defense Position, but it cannot activate its effects this turn. You can only use each effect of "Junk Converter" once per turn.

This is a core card searcher in the deck. Having multiple copies of this still helps for consistency, even though the skill already puts one in the graveyard at the start of the duel.

Alternatively, you can substitute this by using The Warrior Returning Alive which will do the same thing, except slightly riskier since there are more counters to this like Necrovalley or D.D. Crow.

The effect of having to discard a tuner is beneficial in this deck if you can send a Tuning Gum or a Beast O-Lion.

Tuning

Tuning
Tuning
Normal Spell
The King of Vermillion [SR]
Add 1 "Synchron" Tuner monster from your Deck to your hand, then send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard.

A pretty useful searcher to add more consistency as well, similar to Junk Converter. It just works slightly differently, but having this to search for Junk Synchron does eventually lead to a Shooting Star Dragon without having to discard a card from hand.

Extra Decks

Stardust Warrior
Stardust Warrior
WIND Warrior ★10
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Stars of Synchro [UR]
1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters
During either player's turn, if your opponent would Special Summon a monster(s): You can Tribute this card; negate the Summon, and if you do, destroy that monster(s). During the End Phase, if this effect was activated this turn (and was not negated): You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this face-up card you control leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower "Warrior" Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon.)

Quite powerful Level 10 Synchro Warrior Monster that negates Special Summon monster by tributing himself which will stops your opponents Extra Deck Monsters or Big Beater monsters which is required to be special summoned. Similars to Stardust Dragon's effect, you can revive him during the end phase after this effect activated.

Stardust Warrior's floating effect will also allows you to special summon Junk Destroyer or Junk Warrior from your Extra Deck.

Shooting Star Dragon
Shooting Star Dragon
WIND Dragon ★10
ATK 3300 / DEF 2500
KC Grand Tournament Celebration Campaign [May 2021] [UR]
1 Tuner Synchro Monster + "Stardust Dragon"
Once per turn: You can excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, shuffle them back in, also this card's maximum number of attacks per Battle Phase this turn equals the number of Tuner monsters excavated. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would destroy a card(s) on the field: You can negate the effect, and if you do, destroy it. Once per turn, when an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can target the attacking monster; banish this card, and if you do, negate that attack. During the next End Phase: Special Summon this card banished by this effect.

The main boss monster of the deck, summonable only because of the skill in this version of the deck. It can be powerful enough to win games quickly due to its first effect, but some RNG will be involved, which is why there are plenty of tuners in the deck to help.

Since this card can negate and destroy a destruction type card once per turn, if you think your opponent may have more than 1, then it's better to not synchro into Shooting Star Dragon Right away. After using Yusei's skill to put down a Formula Synchron, wait until your opponent targets your card to activate its effect to synchro instead.

Junk Destroyer
Junk Destroyer
EARTH Warrior ★8
ATK 2600 / DEF 2000
Revolution Beginning [UR]
"Junk Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target cards on the field, up to the number of non-Tuner monsters used for the Synchro Summon of this card; destroy those targets.

A pretty good monster to go to when you don't want to go into Stardust Dragon for Shooting Star Dragon. Junk Destroyer can be easily summoned in this deck using either Quickdraw or Junk Synchron, giving you a pretty easy destruction effect to deal with your opponent's card(s).

Stardust Dragon
Stardust Dragon
WIND Dragon ★8
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Selection Box Vol. 03 [UR]
Stardust Acceleration [UR]
Stardust Nexus [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would destroy a card(s) on the field: You can Tribute this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. During the End Phase, if this effect was activated this turn (and was not negated): You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard.

Part of the ladder that you need to go to in order to reach Shooting Star Dragon. Not going to be useful on its own since many monsters can go over 2500 ATK in the meta, but there are other Stardust support cards that you can consider bringing since this can be summoned consistently.

Once you summon Stardust Dragon, you can activate Yusei's skill to put a Formula Synchron to your field.

Samsara, Dragon of Rebirth
Samsara, Dragon of Rebirth
DARK Dragon ★5
ATK 100 / DEF 2600
Cybernetic Rebellion [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 [SR] [SR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, or if this card you control is sent to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect: You can target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard, except "Samsara, Dragon of Rebirth"; Special Summon it. You can only use this effect of "Samsara, Dragon of Rebirth" once per turn.

Samsara Dragon's effect is essentially Monster Reborn. If you want to more quickly activate this effect, crash Samsara Dragon into an enemy monster then special summon monster like Stardust Warrior.

Junk Warrior
Junk Warrior
DARK Warrior ★5
ATK 2300 / DEF 1300
Structure Deck: Synchro Connection [UR]
Stardust Nexus [UR]
"Junk Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersIf this card is Synchro Summoned: It gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all Level 2 or lower monsters you currently control.

Part of the ladder that you need to use to reach Shooting Star Dragon. You can go into Junk Warrior by using only Junk Synchron and the skill, making it a 1 card combo.

You can skip having to use Junk Warrior if you have a token from O-Lion's effect and then normal summon Junk Synchron, which will summon Converter from the grave, thus going into level 8 right away.

Superheavy Samurai Swordmaster Musashi
Superheavy Samurai Swordmaster Musashi
EARTH Machine ★5
ATK 300 / DEF 2300
Future Horizon [R]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand, but if you have a Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard, you cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters with that monster's name for the rest of this turn. This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation.

You'll want to bring another level 5 since you need 1 to ladder up, and Junk Synchron can very easily turn to a level 5 synchro. Once you summon Shooting Star Dragon, any time you get Junk Synchron, you can make another level 5.

Swordmaster Musashi can attack in defense position, which can be useful to dodge something like Drowning Mirror Force.

Other Cards Option

Necroid Synchro

Necroid Synchro
Necroid Synchro
Normal Spell
Mini Event: Mission Circuit [SR]
Banish 1 Tuner and up to 2 non-Tuner monsters from your Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Stardust" Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck whose Level equals the total Levels of those banished monsters, but it has its effects negated. (This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon.)

Situationally useful as a comeback card to summon Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon when you have resources in your graveyard.

Other Extra Decks

Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon
Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★10
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Chronicle of Glory [UR]
1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters
Must be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can banish 1 Synchro Monster from your Graveyard; this card is unaffected by other cards' effects for the rest of this turn. If this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card (by battle or card effect): You can target 1 of your banished Dragon-Type Synchro Monsters; Special Summon it.

Summonable by using Coral Dragon and 2 Junk Converter / O-Lion. Can be difficult to summon, but situationally useful when you need it. Its effect of being unaffected by everything is quite powerful when you need it, making it a strong wall that can only be dealt with if your opponent has a 3000 ATK monster or higher.

Cyber Slash Harpie Lady
Cyber Slash Harpie Lady
WIND Winged Beast ★8
ATK 2600 / DEF 1400
Sign of Harpies [UR]
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
For this card's Synchro Summon, you can treat 1 "Harpie" monster you control as a Tuner. This card's name becomes "Harpie Lady" while on the field or in the GY. When a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated (except during the Damage Step) (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster your opponent controls or 1 "Harpie" monster you control; return it to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Cyber Slash Harpie Lady" once per turn.

A pretty strong alternative to bring since its effect to return a card is quite powerful. You don't want to replace this with Junk Destroyer though since Quickdraw can only be used to synchro into certain monsters.

You can summon a level 8 when you have an O-Lion token on your field, then normal summon Junk Synchron, which will special summon a converter from the grave.

Coral Dragon
Coral Dragon
WATER Dragon ★6
ATK 2400 / DEF 500
Chronicle of Glory [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. If this Synchro Summoned card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Coral Dragon" once per turn.

Pretty useful effect if you ever need more ways to deal with your opponent's cards, but it can be tricky to summon. You'll have to use Tuning Gum with the other level 2 non tuner monsters in the deck.

Coral Dragon being a tuner can be useful to go into a level 8 or 10 synchro.

Junk Archer
Junk Archer
EARTH Warrior ★7
ATK 2300 / DEF 2000
Future Horizon [SR]
Stardust Nexus [SR]
"Junk Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it. During the End Phase of this turn, return it to your opponent's side of the field, in the same battle position.

This can make Quickdraw more useful since you might find yourself in a situation where you can only summon Quickdraw, but no O-Lion to into a level 8. Having any level 2 non tuner monster will let you go into Junk Archer instead.

Chevalier de Fleur
Chevalier de Fleur
WIND Warrior ★8
ATK 2700 / DEF 2300
Blazing Rose [R]
"Fleur Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once during each of your turns, when your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card, you can negate the activation and destroy that card.

Backrow Immune with decent ATK stats that can be easily summoned with Quickdraw Synchron + O-Lion token combination but can only be activated during your turns.

It became resonator grand prix on elite, and rarely T. G

People use it more likely because it was cool AF, but that's it.

It is like a backrow grand prix for me. I met so many opponents playing 8-10 different backrows in their decks. People don't have good backrows but they include everything they had like Magic Jammer, Seven Tools, Draining Shield, Widespread Ruin, Counter Gate, Defense Draw, Shadow Spell... We are in post Trunade era.

I'm currently Legend 3 with it (27/09/2022) it's quirkier to play right but very rewarding. Main problem is backrow heavy decks which is most of decks right now and you don't draw into any removal, that's gg
