Pros

  • Good stats.
  • Can destroy multiple cards on the field.

Cons

  • Can only destroy up to 2 cards because Duel Links only has 3 monster zones.
  • Costly to summon.

Tips

Summoning

In a pure Warrior deck you can use the Immortal Bushi which revives himself every turn if you control no monsters and all monsters in your graveyard are Warrior-types. Then Normal summon.

Junk Synchron and revive a level-2 monster with his effect. Use all three of them to Synchro summon Junk Destroyer and be able to destroy 2 cards. For a quicker summon you can just use The Tricky and Junk Synchron together.

Is there a substitute for this card? I dont want to pull from an older box just for 1 UR

I wanted to make a deck based around this card. I was gonna use at least 2 of them.. Which cards and combos are best? Junk Synchron obviously, quickdraw synchron, what else?
Anonymous
Underrated, it can remove backrow and monsters and clap everyone.
Anonymous
Summoning this with two non tuners still doesn't generate you any card advantage. Looks like Vampires go unthreatened for yet another month.

Yes I know it's a +0 (-3 +1 -2), but removing cards from the field is a bigger advantage that just having more number of cards.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
So I disagree if you say there is no advantage.

Let's see...

Special summon Junk Forward (-1)
Normal summon Junk Synchron (-1)
Revives Speed Warrior from the graveyard (+0)
Synchro summon Junk Destroyer
Destroys 2 set spell/traps on your opponent's field using Junk Destroyer's effect (+2)
Attacks and destroys a monster using Junk Destroyer (+1)

In conclusion, you get a +1, so your argument is invalid.

How old is this post, anyway?

You can also use Quickdraw Synchron and Junk Forward to synchro summon it as well

Thanks for the Junk Destroyer. Now I just need to grind through a different box for a SINGLE copy of Junk Synchron or only play Yusei.

Junk Anchor exists as well, so it's possible to Summon it without a box UR or Yusei's skill.

Problem is Junk Anchor comes in the Synchro structure deck with 1 copy. Beyond that you have to pay to get anymore copies. Either choice you make you'll be paying out a lot in gems or cash just to get viable cards to summon Destroyer.

The point is there's options. It's no different to any other card that requires other cards. The fact there even IS a skill that gives you free Junk Synchrons gives it a major advantage over a card like Vampire Genesis or VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon.

Cool, they finally release Destroyer. Now we need Archer and Gardna to make a full Junk deck.

Too bad Junk is pretty much... junk without Tuning, Quickdraw and Quilbolt.

And Junk Speeder too.

I think Speeder is a bit too powerful now, since you can pretty much synchro summon into anything with with only 2 cards.

>Akiza dark verger skill
>Special summon junk forward by it's effect (lv3)
>Normal summon junk synchron and special summon dark verger
>Now you can special summon junk destroyer and destroy 2 cards on your opponent.
Now "i don't have 3 junk forward and i wont buy another structure deck"
Gilasaurus and spell striker can be good substitute because both are lv3.

I like berserker more

berserker is easier to summon. the best combo to summon this is probably use powerful rebirth on junk synchron and level 4 monster
<< Anonymous

Destroyer does compensate you for using more than 2 monsters, so something like Junk Forward + Junk Synchron works.
Anonymous
This card only generate advantage (+1), if you use junk synchron to summon a level 2 or 1 and you have a level 3 or 4 in the field, but this is very specific or if you summon this using Junk Speeder (this card dont exist in duel links). Maybe Junk Speeder come in the next pack, but Konami sucks 5ds era. And the most synchro decks need 8-10 cards in the extra deck to become playable.

Junk Destroyer has arrived to ANNIHILATE!!
Anonymous
Junk Synchron is Level 3 while this card is Level 8, meaning you most likely will use 2 non-Tuners to summon this thing, which in turn means 2 cards destroyed. Nice.

Junk Warrior is level 5

Most of the time, we want to use as many material as possible for Junk Destroyer. In Duel Links' case, 2 non tuners.
