Thank you for sharing your tips with us IGN: TSMAceMurtag!
Yosenjus have been my favorite deck since their OCG release and debut in the anime, This entire deck is F2P (not actually this is just how much labour and love I’ve put into this deck gathering every card and staple through free gems and things like tenki through tickets)
Yosenju Kama 1 | WIND Beast-Warrior ★4 ATK 1600 / DEF 500 |
Masters of Shadow [SR] | |
If this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Yosenju" monster from your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 1". If you control another "Yosenju" monster: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field. During the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand. |
Yosenju Oyam | WIND Beast ★6 ATK ? / DEF ? |
Spirit of the Beast [N] | |
When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can send 1 "Yosenju" monster from your hand to the Graveyard, except "Yosenju Oyam"; Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Yosenju Oyam" once per turn. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent's face-up monster: You can make this card's ATK and DEF become equal to the original ATK of the opponent's monster it is battling, until the end of this turn. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Yosenju" card from your Deck to your hand. |
This deck has been in the making since release of Spirits of the beasts, with each new abusable tech card or new release like Yosenju Kama 1 at the time Yosen training is kind of bad but at 1 it isn’t that bricky and it definitely saves games by allowing you to grind more out of your stings in grave, personally I prefer using Yosenju Oyam over veil just due to the search and being able to get over a Yosen set with Book or more likely floodgate as well as being a wall to stop decks like BE in their tracks until they draw a karma or summon twin burst.
Spiritualism | Normal Spell |
Card Trader [SR] | |
Return 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls to the hand. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated. |
Galaxy Cyclone | Normal Spell |
Gaia Genesis [UR] Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [UR]
Target 1 Set Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Galaxy Cyclone" once per turn. |
A lot of people also ask “Why Spiritualism and Galaxy Cyclone?” Well spiritual is because I don’t have Mystical Space Typhoon and I don’t wanna run Cosmic Cyclone in the deck where I let myself get socked for 3000 just to draw a yosen. It’s also where I find more success with performance, people think you’re going to be playing the pend version and so they’ll pass on a (little do they know) Dead roach I can’t tell you how many times people have done this because of that and not to mention that roach wouldn’t work much either because daibaks summon can’t be negated
so… I do have a few fun matches with my Mayosenju build which Is where I find more success with spiritual because it can trigger the hitot boost, Paleozoic Canadia is there because I got it with a dream last year or something and No money so no book. Some people also like to think that 2 of each kama is fine and if you have 2 Fire Formation - Tenki I’ll agree but tenki tends to clog field if you run training too, which is where Galaxy Cyclone comes in, in a pinch you can actually pop your own Continuous spells and free room or get rid of that annoying gongato. However, Kama 1 is removal and you like that I also like to run 2 Yosenju Kama 2 because I can‘t tell you the amount of games I’ve won returning to 2019 yosenju builds and attacking directly for 900 every turn.
Paleozoic Canadia | Normal Trap |
Valiant Souls [UR] | |
Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. Once per Chain, when a Trap Card is activated while this card is in your Graveyard: Special Summon this card as a Normal Monster (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 2/ATK 1200/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Trap Card.) If Summoned this way, this card is unaffected by monster effects, also banish it when it leaves the field. |
Fire Formation - Tenki | Continuous Spell |
Eternal Stream [SR] | |
When this card is activated: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower Beast-Warrior-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. All Beast-Warrior-Type monsters you control gain 100 ATK. You can only activate 1 "Fire Formation - Tenki" per turn. |
Yosenju Kama 2 | WATER Beast-Warrior ★4 ATK 1800 / DEF 200 |
Spirit of the Beast [SR]
If this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Yosenju" monster from your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 2". This card can attack your opponent directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to your opponent is halved. During the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand. |
Yosenju Kama 3 is 2 because its a searcher but you also have Yosenju Izna, the skill, Yosen Training Grounds, and Oyam so you still keep 2 in case one dies and because it’s a kama. The ED is really just r4nk.dek so play whatever really or that. The only bad matchups you really have are Megalith for ungodly reasons and of all things aromage due to the fact your poking does absolutely nothing besides trigger skills and megalith just using the things you have to bounce to ritual the different thing.
Yosenju Kama 3 | WIND Beast-Warrior ★4 ATK 1500 / DEF 800 |
Spirit of the Beast [SR]
If this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Yosenju" monster from your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 3". When another "Yosenju" monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 "Yosenju" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Yosenju Kama 3". You can only use this effect of "Yosenju Kama 3" once per turn. During the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand. |
Yosenju Izna | WIND Beast-Warrior ★4 ATK 800 / DEF 1200 |
Spirit of the Beast [R] | |
Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand. You can only use each of the following effects of "Yosenju Izna" once per turn. ● You can discard this card; this turn, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when a "Yosenju" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned. ● If you control another "Yosenju" monster: You can draw 1 card. |
Yosen Training Grounds | Continuous Spell |
Spirit of the Beast [R] | |
Each time a "Yosenju" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned, place 1 Yosen Counter on this card. You can remove any number of Yosen Counters from this card; apply this effect, depending on the number of Yosen Counters removed. You can only use this effect of "Yosen Training Grounds" once per turn. ●1 Counter: All "Yosenju" monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK until the end of this turn (even if this card leaves the field). ●3 Counters: Add 1 "Yosenju" card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. |
Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir | LIGHT Fairy ★6 ATK 1000 / DEF 2000 |
Pendulum Genesis [UR] | |
1 "Melodious Maestra" monster + 1 "Melodious" monster Cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects, also you take no battle damage from attacks involving this card. If this card battles a Special Summoned monster, after damage calculation: You can inflict damage to your opponent equal to the difference between the original ATK of that opponent's monster and this card, and if you do, destroy that opponent's monster. |
Lunalight Sabre Dancer | DARK Beast-Warrior ★9 ATK 3000 / DEF 2600 |
Judgement Force [SR] | |
3 "Lunalight" monsters Must be Fusion Summoned. Gains 200 ATK for each Beast-Warrior monster that is banished or in the GYs. Your opponent cannot target this card with card effects. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Fusion Monster you control; it gains 3000 ATK until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Lunalight Sabre Dancer" once per turn. |
Melodious is also a deck where literally the only problem you have against them is bricking or treacherous trap hole as you can just bounce the Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir. Yosenju can deal with almost every card besides Lunalight Sabre Dancer but you can just poke directly and grinding is not a problem.
Yes this deck was Built by a F2P but it also took me 2 years wait Beasts was 2019 guess it’s been 3 years in the making now and I finally made it to KOG
TL:DR Yosenju go boing
Not F2P but build by a F2P so not recommended for F2Ps.

Destiny Draw Can be used when your Life Points decrease by 2000. In the Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw, draw a card of your choice. This Skill can only be used one per Duel. | Yami Yugi |
Also PS. Yosenju mirrors suck incredibly bad, no one loses advantage first person to run out of handtraps loses and Destiny Draw VS Performance is a personal decision so don’t feel obligated to pick either for reasons other than what you think, yosenju has a base minimum of each card but everything else besides sting are all debatable ratios so play what you like!
