Bujin: Deck Recipe [Nov 18]

Duel Links Bujin deck, how to use Bujin, Bujin in the meta, how to make Bujin decks.
update 18/11/2021

The playstyle of this deck can be described as "protect the castle", that is because you need to always keep your Beast-Warrior Bujin on the field. These techs can greatly help your Bujin's survivability.

Forbidden Lance
Forbidden Lance
Quick Spell
Valhalla Calling [UR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, that target loses 800 ATK, but is unaffected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards.

Target your monster with Forbidden Lance to protect it from enemy backrow. Or target an attacking monster to debuff it.

Volcanic Wall
Volcanic Wall
Continuous Spell
Axel Brodie at Lvl 45 [UR]
Once per turn, you can send 3 cards from the top of your deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict 250 damages, to your opponent for each Pyro-Type monster sent to the Graveyard by this effect. You cannot declare an attack during the turn you activate this effect.

The deck doesn't run any Pyro monsters so the burn effect is useless. What we really want from Volcanic Wall is its ability to setup your graveyard for free. Unlike a Lightsworn engine, this graveyard setup doesn't use up your Normal Summon, and also doesn't require you to tech in multiple cards.

World Legacy Clash
World Legacy Clash
Quick Spell
Blazing Rose [R]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [R]
HERO Generation [R]
Banish 1 face-up monster you control (until the End Phase), then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; that target loses ATK/DEF equal to the original ATK/DEF of that banished monster.

Temporarily removes your monster from the field to let it dodge effects while also debuffing an enemy monster by a ton.

Karma Cut
Karma Cut
Normal Trap
Arena of Sanctuary [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [SR]
Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; banish that target, then banish all cards with the same name as that monster from your opponent's Graveyard.

On-demand targeting banish removal. The discard effect is also useful for loading a Bujingi into the graveyard.

Other Extra Decks

Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment
Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment
WATER Dragon ★9
ATK 2700 / DEF 2000
Arena of Sanctuary [UR]
3 monsters with different names
Must first be either Fusion Summoned using only monsters in your hand and/or field, or Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by banishing the above cards you control (in which case you do not use "Polymerization"). If this card was Special Summoned using only monsters that were originally Dragons: You can reveal and banish 3 cards (1 from your Deck, 1 from the top of your opponent's Deck, and 1 from their Extra Deck). You can only use this effect of "Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment" once per turn.

Helps unclog your monster zones in case your monsters get locked up through cards like Fiendish Chain or Floodgate Trap Hole.

Its main effect of banishing is not usable since this deck doesn't use Dragon monsters.

Cyber Slash Harpie Lady
Cyber Slash Harpie Lady
WIND Winged Beast ★8
ATK 2600 / DEF 1400
Sign of Harpies [UR]
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
For this card's Synchro Summon, you can treat 1 "Harpie" monster you control as a Tuner. This card's name becomes "Harpie Lady" while on the field or in the GY. When a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated (except during the Damage Step) (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster your opponent controls or 1 "Harpie" monster you control; return it to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Cyber Slash Harpie Lady" once per turn.

Synchro summonable if you use Raiden. You can make this somewhat easily by since Raiden mills cards and Hirume can be special summoned by banishing a Bujin in the grave.

It's a pretty strong generic level 8 synchro since you can return strong boss monsters as long as they are targetable. The activation condition is also pretty easy since spells/traps are commonly used.

Photon Papilloperative
Photon Papilloperative
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2100 / DEF 1800
Photons of Galaxy [R]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Defense Position monster on the field; change it to face-up Attack Position, and if you do, it loses 600 ATK.

Sinyou makes it easy for the deck to get over high ATK monsters, but high DEF opponents can be an issue. Having this as an option can make the duel much faster since it prevents defensive playstyle.

Diamond Dire Wolf
Diamond Dire Wolf
EARTH Beast ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field; destroy them.

Good 1-for-1 removal. Because this deck is filled with Beasts, Dire Wolf can actually stay on the field and be a constant source of removal.

Constellar Omega
Constellar Omega
LIGHT Beast-Warrior ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 500
Infinite Ray [R]
2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all "Constellar" monsters you currently control are unaffected by Spell/Trap effects this turn.

For when you want to have an uninterrupted attack. It's good to bring out when your opponent has multiple spells/traps, but it won't prevent cards like Sphere Kuriboh.

If your opponent uses Fiendish Chain, Omega won't be negated if you chain to its activation, but Omega will be negated the next turn and you can't use the effect in response.

Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Tiger King
Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Tiger King
FIRE Beast-Warrior ★4
ATK 2200 / DEF 1800
Eternal Stream [UR]
2 Level 4 Beast-Warrior-Type monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can Set 1 "Fire Formation" Spell/Trap Card directly from your Deck. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the effects of all face-up Effect Monsters currently on the field, except Beast-Warrior-Type, until the end of your opponent's turn. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can send 3 "Fire Formation" Spell/Trap Cards you control to the Graveyard; Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Beast-Warrior-Type monsters with the same ATK from your Deck, in face-up Defense Position.

Upon summoning Tiger King, you get to fetch Tenki which results in fetching another Beast-Warrior monster, great for resource gain. Or, you can fetch Tensu to swarm your field and set up for massive damage. The mass effect negation is very powerful because it can shut off powerful effects, like Cyber Slash Harpie Lady. Lastly, Tiger King floats into two Level-4 monsters letting you set up your next Xyz play. However, you do need to clog your entire backrow for this to work.

Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
DARK Fiend ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 2300
Shark Fang [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. If a "Djinn" Xyz Monster you control would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from that monster instead.

Flipping an enemy monster face-down is great for turning off effects and exposing weak DEF stats. Keep in mind you can't make this with Bujincarnation.

Gagaga Cowboy
Gagaga Cowboy
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1500 / DEF 2400
Gagaga XYZ
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; apply this effect, depending on this card's current battle position.
● Attack Position: If this card attacks an opponent's monster this turn, it gains 1000 ATK, also the opponent's monster loses 500 ATK, during the Damage Step only.
● Defense Position: Inflict 800 damage to your opponent.

Can be considered a 3000 ATK monster for 1 attack, but might not survive another turn because of its low base ATK. Otherwise, you can summon this for its effect damage effect that can deal up to 1600 damage.

Number 39: Utopia
Number 39: Utopia
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Shining Hope [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
When any player's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the attack. When this card is targeted for an attack, while it has no Xyz Materials: Destroy this card.

If you are missing an XYZ card, you can use Utopia (preferably with Number C39: Utopia Ray as well). Utopia alone helps with stalling the duel until you get better cards, but with Utopia Ray, it gives any deck an OTK potential. However, this deck doesn't have any way to help trigger the activation condition.

Gagaga Samurai
Gagaga Samurai
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1900 / DEF 1600
Shining Hope [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control; it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. When another monster you control is targeted for an attack while this card is in Attack Position: You can change this card to Defense Position, and if you do, change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation.

Its ATK is not enough to get an OTK if your opponent has full LP, but the double attack can be decent in general.

good deck for beginner

1- no ban list (so you can use controller and kiteroid)

2 -half of deck in in old mini box with disscount (40 packs)

3 - other half is in new box wich you just need only 1 SR and have 1 staple (xyz monsters, spell and FC)

4 - skill easily to obtain (just choose Yugi and use skill ticket)

5 - the only hard card to obtain Crane, but u can use SR Ticket

*this deck is so funny

Tier - 1? That doesn't even exist hahaha. Other than this, this deck is easy to counter: Canadia and Floodgate cook this deck hard, only a newbie loses to this trash deck

This deck tore my ritual beasts apart
Well not really it beat me but it was mostly because I couldn’t draw any of my counter cards, like none plasma, fiendish, and karma were 3/4 cards I had left in my deck which made no difference because I used all my resources stalling. Second I let him destroy my ultipettlephin because I confused Cranes effect with purple smoke unicorn and thought I was safe.

Still all in all it can stall out shiranui and damage protect blackening otk and resource scavenge from both banish and grave yard making is suitable again dm, it’s got game I wouldn’t be naive solid It’s a 7/10, it’ll pick up traction once the new bans hit

DNA surgery kills the deck since it needs the bujin on field to be a beast warrior and i wish there was a way to choose mikazuchi activating before arasuda since it deck thins but arasuda always activates first and sometimes drawing the spell or trap, wasting mikazuchi

Likely because you can't really get over a face-down Blue-Eyes or whatever without Sinyou or Crane. (Which, if you had, you would have probably already used.)
Question???
I have both Mikazuchi & Arasuda on the field.
Opponent just attacked and I use Crane effect.
During end phase, I add 1 Bujin S/T by Mikazuchi's effect.
But then, I don't get any option to use Arasuda's effect.
Is there anything that I missed here?

Good question, probably something to do with timing and stuff

Arasuda effect triggers when a bujin monster is added to your hand. Not as mich discarded or when a s/t is added

I am king of game from yesterday with an incredible number of victory in a few tim using this time. Though I use and prefer the grass is greener version with Destiny draw skill
It's much better and is a little bit more consistent
