When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 monster with 500 or less ATK in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Attack Position, but its effects are negated. Cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a Dragon-Type monster. The other Synchro Material(s) cannot be Level 4.

Evaluation

RatingB-

Pros

  • Special Summons a monster from your graveyard.
  • Tuner.
  • Good Defense.

Cons

  • The effect only activates when Normal Summoned.
  • Cannot be used with another level-4 monster for an easy level-8 Synchro.

Tips

Level-7 Synchro

Making level-8 Synchro monsters with Debris Dragon is fairly difficult, so level-7s are the next best option. Black Rose Dragon, for example, is a great monster to go into with Debris Dragon because you essentially get a one card nuke.

Ojama

Debris Dragon can revive even the strongest Ojama monster because of their 0 attack gimmick. And with Ojama Country and an Ojama monster on the field Debris Dragon becomes a 2000 attack beater.

Powerful Low-Attack Monsters

You can use Debris Dragon to Special Summon high-leveled monsters with powerful effects but low-attack. This lets you bypass their costly Normal Summoning.

It can be used to summon dark verger, sadly only can summon dragon synchro and we don't have lv6 dragon synchros (yeah that one jack gave us, but needs a fiend tuner this is dragon)

4 + 2 + 2 = 8.

Debris is level 4, Verger is level 2, Quillbolt is also level 2.

You got your wish as now we have coral dragon.

Am I the only one confused about why they include Power Tool and Karakuri on this page? The card is limited to Dragon synchros

Fair point on summoning Trident or Azure-Eyes, but wouldn’t that only be a level 5 or 6 (can’t remember exactly what level Trident is)? All the listed cards like Yubel and Deskbot 009 don’t add up to those levels. Inverse Universe was also a fair point

If you're summoning Yubel, it's not for use them in synchro summoning. It's so Yubel can get destroyed, so you can summon Terror Incarnate.

Personally, I'd rather try to make a level 7 synchro spam deck out of it, but I haven't found the right level 3 monster for it.

Yeah that is confusing because it doesn't work to summon synchros other than dragons

What level 4 monster with 500 ATK or less would be useful alongside this card for Xyz Summon, though? Do we even have any in DL right now?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
There are plenty of lvl 4 <500 atk monsters, like deskbot, vision hero, six sams, arkfiend, performapal, mini black lusters, fortune lady, etc. It really depends on the decks you want to build.

any Dragon ones so I can use this card in pure Dragon deck?
Anonymous
how is this good?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Same as Junk Synchron, it is a 1-card Synchro.

Can also be 1-card Rank 4 Xyz once Zexal released.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
yes but junk synchron is much much more generic and it just seems like a worse version of it
<< Anonymous

Debris Dragon's worse at Summoning LV5 Synchros (particularly given Samsara's the only one it can Summon) and doesn't benefit from Akiza's skill. That doesn't make it even close to useless, however. It works well with cards like Black Rose Dragon. (It's also a one-card Trident Dragion if you have the Gemini Hieratic in the GY, which is cute.)

Anonymous Reply
Junk Synchron is best for Synchro mainly. Since that the monster it revives is different (level 1 or 2).

As for Debris, the monster it revives can have flexible level, thus giving it access to Xyz plays.

We will probably not feel much impact from Debris yet, but surely both Debris & Junk have their own pros & cons.

I wonder if cards from the 5d manga are available in the TCG, haven't played it in years

Some of them have been released; such as Power Tool Mecha Dragon and (the most recent) Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon

Literally all of the manga's Duel Dragons have been released in OCG and TCG.

Funny how, despite looking like it, this card is terrible for summoning Stardust Dragon unless you intentionally set-up first to get 2 Level 2 monsters or 1 Level 3 and 1 Level 1 monsters, to be used as the non-Tuners.

There's a lot of ways to Special Summon a Level 1 or 2 monster, so that isn't especially difficult to pull off.

Great, now give us Dragon Rulers too and we can break this card

Most useful targets for this at the moment are Black Rose Dragon and Ancient fairy dragon, but that still requires a level 3 in the grave

I guess you can use Neos Fusion to send that Level 3 monster to the GY and then Normal Summon Debris on your following turn.

How bad is this card?

F**k Komoney.
Last time I tried to buy dragon cards from this box Komoney pushed 3 berserkions and 2 Magician navigation on me for the price of 3000 gems. And today they f**king limit navigation that they forced me to own.

F**k KOMONEY!
Stop rigging my pack openings!
Why do dragon cards keep being at bottom for 3 years now!
Anonymous
Without Coral Dragon (dragon synchro tuner 6), i think i don't have motives to get this card, maybe black rose. For XYZ or synchro lv 7, probably has many other better options.
