Hammer Shark | Decks and Tips

Once per turn: You can reduce the Level of this card by 1, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower WATER monster from your hand.

• 1900 attack with Umi, which can be activated easily using Mako's skill "Mystic Depths"
• Can special summon level 3 or lower water monsters from your hand.

• Can only special summon monsters from your hand.
• Lowering its level can make it vulnerable to Possessed Dark Soul.
• Summoning multiple monsters from your hand quickly can result in a card disadvantage. This will make it more difficult to comeback if your opponent can counter them due to lack of cards that can help with more draws.
• Will not be able to special summon when its level is at 1. Using A Legendary Ocean will reduce its level, making it usable 2 times only, instead of 3.

A few options for level 3 or lower water monster:

• Needle Sunfish
• Yomi Ship
• Blizzed, Defender of the Ice Barrier
• Lost Blue Breaker
• Maryokutai
• Magical Reflect Slime

Can be used to reduce the level of the monster cards in your hand

This lets you special summon Hammer Shark without using up your normal summon for the turn, allowing you to summon 3 monsters in a turn, but can only be activated when you have no monster on the field.

Will be equippable to Hammer Shark if it's able to activate the ability at least once.

A useful search card to special summon a monster from your deck to find one that you need, or special summon another Hammer Shark from your deck, and use its effect to special summon another monster from your hand.

Can be used to destroy any card on the field, and draw a card. Good with Hammer Shark since you can use this on your second monster, so that it won't leave you defenseless.

This will lower the level 4 monsters so you can special summon them with Hammer Shark's effect, but will also lower the number of times Hammer Shark can use its ability.

Increasing Hammer Shark's level will increase the number of times Hammer Shark can use its effect, but you will have to send your monster from the graveyard to your opponent. You can give your low defense monster to your opponent, and use Uminotaurus to deal piercing damage to it.
