Pros

1700 attack is pretty decent. It can go up to 1900 with the field spell Umi.
It has the ability to give piercing damage to monsters.

Cons

1000 defense is low which makes it an easy target when switched to defense position.
It only gives piercing damage to Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monsters. Other types will not be affected.

Hammer Shark is significantly better than this card because of its ability to swarm the board with Yomi Ships, Needle Sunfish, Lost Blue Breaker, Star Boy, and Beautunaful Princess (with an ideal hand you can get 3 beaters on the board turn 1). Hammer Shark has an entire Tier 1 deck built around it and Uminotaurus is just a mediocre beater with a ok at best effect

Thats why they also bring Legendary Ocean in the trader, so that you can special summon this monster easily.

A Legendary Ocean is actually one of the best WATER field spell we have in the game, besides Umiiruka.

When this card appear, I'm glad I never wish to buy airknight parshath at all. Even though parshath has one more effect (draw card), for my deck its not really useful.

Did this card get rotated out? I haven't seen it since EX gems came into being, and I've checked everyday. I have seen Legendary Ocean, however. Odd.

Haha, no its not. At worst its a 1700 beater with piercing, at best its a 1900 beater that gives your whole team piercing.

How is this r.i.p weevil stall burn when:
1)most good weevils have big shield gardna or cocoon..
2) your monsters will most likely be insects

The big shield isnt as annoying as the chipmunk and the plant, which stall and inflict me a bunch of damage. I rarely see a weevil using big shield anymore.

Also, with that combo you most likely dont have a monster zone, unless they use e-con and take control of 1 of your monster.

Lastly, bigshield and cocoon are no tjread to Daelius.deck.

Um, contrary to what the cons say, this card will inflict pierce on anything as long s you have an aqua/fish/sea serpent on your board.
