Set Skill

[Skill] descriptionUser
ZEXAL – Ultimate Unite
Add 1 "Number C39: Utopia Ray" and 1 "ZW - Leo Arms" to your Extra Deck at the beginning of the Duel. The only monsters you can Special Summon from your Extra Deck during this Duel will be "Number" or "ZW" monsters.

Once per turn and twice per Duel, this Skill can be used by paying half your Life Points. Send 1 "Gagaga" monster from your field to your Graveyard, then play 1 "Gagaga" monster from among three possibilities from outside of your Deck to your field, and change its Level to 4.

In addition, if your Life Points are 2000 or below, the following effect will be applied at the beginning of your turn. Yuma and Astral build the Overlay Network! ZEXAL Morph!

Can be used once after transforming to ZEXAL. If you Xyz Summon "Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray" during this turn, you can also Xyz Summon it by using "Number C39: Utopia Ray" you control as the material.

How to Play

Xyz Enablers

Utopic Onomatopeia
Utopic Onomatopeia
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1500 / DEF 1500
Shining Hope [UR]
(This card is always treated as a "Zubaba", "Gagaga", "Gogogo", and "Dododo" card.)
During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon up to 1 each "Zubaba", "Gagaga", "Gogogo", and/or "Dododo" monster(s) from your hand in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use this effect of "Utopic Onomatopoeia" once per turn.

Utopic Onomatopeia is a versatile combo piece in this deck. Upon summoning Utopic Onomatopeia, you get to Special Summon as many of your Onomatopeia monsters from your hand as possible. This will easily put the materials onboard for making Rank-4.

Another trait of Utopic Onomatopeia that makes him a key card in this deck is that he counts as a monster of all Onomatopeia sub-archetypes. This means you can activate support such as Gagagabolt and Dodododraw with only him onboard.

Zubababancho Gagagacoat

Zubababancho Gagagacoat
Zubababancho Gagagacoat
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 100
Gagaga XYZ
If you control a "Zubaba" or "Gagaga" monster except "Zubababancho Gagagacoat", while this card is in your hand: You can Special Summon this card. You can target 1 "Gogogo" or "Dododo" monster in your GY; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use each effect of "Zubababancho Gagagacoat" once per turn.

This card is an amazing field extender. First Normal Summon Utopic Onomatopeia or Mancer to make your first Xyz monster. If that Xyz monster is a Zubaba or Gagaga, you can Special Summon this card, revive a monster, then make a second Xyz summon.

The effect that revives a monster is separate from its Special Summoning. This makes it much more versatile because with a full field, you can first make an Xyz monster to open a Monster Zone before revive a monster with this card's effect.

Gagaga Monsters

Gagaga Sister
Gagaga Sister
DARK Spellcaster ★2
ATK 200 / DEF 800
Shining Hope [SR]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Gagaga" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can target 1 other "Gagaga" monster you control; the Levels of that monster and this card become their combined current Levels, until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Gagaga Sister" once per turn.

Search upon Normal Summon is a simple yet useful effect. This gives you quick access to support such as Gagagabolt and Gagagawind.

The level modulation effect is actually the reason this deck gets access to Rank-6 Xyzs. Seeing that the Rank-6 toolbox offers some powerful monsters, this is a welcome addition.

Gagaga Head
Gagaga Head
DARK Spellcaster ★6
ATK 2100 / DEF 2000
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing as a Level 4 monster. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target up to 2 "Gagaga" monsters in your Graveyard, except "Gagaga Head"; Special Summon them, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except by an Xyz Summon that uses only "Gagaga" monsters as materials. An Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card on the field as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● If it is Xyz Summoned: Draw 1 card.

Like most of your Main Deck monsters, Gagaga Head is another Xyz enabler. Normal Summon Head when you control no monsters then revive two Level-4 Gagaga monsters. With three Level-4 monsters on the field, you'll have a ton of Xyz options. Another option is to revive Gagaga Sister, use her effect and target Head, then use both monsters to make a Rank-6. Head is also a great Xyz material because it replenishes your resources by giving you a free draw.

Reinforcement of the Army

Reinforcement of the Army
Reinforcement of the Army
Normal Spell
Starter/Special Set Bundle Sale [UR]
Add 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior monster from your Deck to your hand.

Main Core Card for searching out Onomatopoeia and Gagagacoat for combo setup.

Gagagarevenge

Gagagarevenge
Gagagarevenge
Equip Spell
Brave Hope [SR]
Target 1 "Gagaga" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it and equip it with this card. When this card leaves the field, destroy the equipped monster. When this card is sent to the Graveyard because the equipped monster was used as an Xyz Material: All Xyz Monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK.

Revive 1 "Gagaga" monster in your Graveyard and boost up All Xyz Monster you currently control while it is sent to the Graveyard when the equipped monster used as Xyz Material for Xyz Summon.

Dodododraw

Dodododraw
Dodododraw
Normal Spell
Shark Fang [R]
Send 1 "Dododo" monster from your hand or face-up from your side of the field to the Graveyard; draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Dodododraw" per turn.

Lets you dig into your deck. Use Utopic Onomatopeia as cost for this.

Here is an example of how you can fit Dodododraw into your combo.

  1. Summon Utopic Onomatopeia. Special Summon Mancer.
  2. Activate Dodododraw. Lets say you draw into Zubababancho Gagagacoat.
  3. Revive Utopic Onomatopeia with Mancer's effect. Make Samurai.
  4. Special Summon Zubababancho Gagagacoat. Revive Utopic Onomatopeia then make Cowboy.

Extra Deck

Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray
Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray
LIGHT Warrior ★5
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
KCGT 2022 Celebration Campaign [UR]
3 Level 5 monsters
(This card is always treated as "Number C39: Utopia Ray".)
Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; equip 1 "ZW -" monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to this card as if it were equipped by that monster's effect. This effect's activation and effect cannot be negated. Once per turn, while this card is equipped with a "ZW -" Monster Card (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate its effects, and if you do, halve its ATK.

Xyz Summonable by using Utopia as material with directly attach ZW monsters from your Extra Deck which is Leo Arms.

With Leo Utopia Ray's debuff and monster negation effect combined with the ATK boost from the ZW equips, you can easily hit through an enemy monster for an OTK.

Number C39: Utopia Ray
Number C39: Utopia Ray
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Infinite Ray [UR]
3 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 39: Utopia" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it gains 500 ATK and 1 monster your opponent controls loses 1000 ATK, until the End Phase. You must have 1000 Life Points or less to activate and to resolve this effect.

While other Decks prefer to only make Utopia Ray as a comeback option, this Deck wants to make Utopia Ray as a general purpose option. With the ZW monsters attached to Utopia Ray, it'll have great staying power; so you don't need to worry about Utopia Ray getting removed and wasting all your resources. And with Utopia Ray's debuff effect combined with the ATK boost from the ZW equips, you can easily hit through an enemy monster for an OTK.

Number 39: Utopia
Number 39: Utopia
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Shining Hope [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
When any player's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the attack. When this card is targeted for an attack, while it has no Xyz Materials: Destroy this card.

Overall a decent beater with a battle protection effect.

Number 25: Force Focus
Number 25: Force Focus
LIGHT Machine ★6
ATK 2800 / DEF 2400
Shining Hope [SR]
2 Level 6 monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Level 5 or higher Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate the effects of that opponent's face-up monster, until the end of the turn.

A generic rank 6 Xyz to negate your opponent's monster, but won't be useful if your opponent uses an Xyz monster.

Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja
Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja
EARTH Warrior ★5
ATK 2400 / DEF 1700
Sign of Harpies [SR]
2 Level 5 monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this turn, face-up "Ninja" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects.

Lower ATK compared to Tiras, Keeper of Genesis, but it has protection to battle and card effects. While it does give a good amount of protection, it's still vulnerable to cards like Cyber Slash Harpie Lady or Karma Cut.

Number 70: Malevolent Sin
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
DARK Insect ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.

Malevolent Sin temporarily banishes a monster, possibly opening your opponent up for direct attacks. Do this when you need a non-destruction form of removal. Another thing to note is that banishing an Xyz monster gets rid of all their Xyz materials.

Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison
Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison
DARK Rock ★8
ATK 2100 / DEF 2700
Infinite Ray [R]
Fantastic Arc [R]
2 Level 8 monsters
Gains 100 ATK and DEF for each monster in the GYs. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; until the end of your opponent's next turn, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects, also neither player can Special Summon monsters from the GYs.

Sanaphond is another powerful Rank-8 you can make. The detach effect is also very powerful, doubling as both protection and graveyard control. Be careful because this also prevents you from reviving "Onomat" monster using Gagagacoat, Gagaga Head 's effect, or Gagagarevenge.

Other useful cards

Dodododwarf Gogogoglove

Dodododwarf Gogogoglove
Dodododwarf Gogogoglove
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 0 / DEF 1800
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 "Zubaba" or "Gagaga" monster from your hand. If you control a "Gogogo" or "Dododo" monster except "Dodododwarf Gogogoglove", while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Dodododwarf Gogogoglove" once per turn.

This monster is a great Xyz extender. The first effect lets you Special Summon most of the monsters in this Deck resulting in an Xyz play. The inherent revival effect only requires you have Utopic Onomatopeia or Dododo Driver on board to revive this card and reuse it as Xyz material.

Gogogo Golem - Golden Form

Gogogo Golem - Golden Form
Gogogo Golem - Golden Form
EARTH Rock ★4
ATK ? / DEF 1500
Shark Fang [SR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Gogogo" monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's ATK becomes double the original ATK of the Tributed monster. Any battle damage your opponent takes from attacks involving this card is halved. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a monster effect is activated on your opponent's side of the field: This card loses exactly 1500 ATK, and if it does, negate that effect.

Golden Form is a great monster to round out your field, because at most you can only make two Xyz monsters. Summon Golden form by tributing Utopic Onomatopeia, putting a 3000 ATK beater onboard. Aside from that he also prevents the opponent from activating monster effects. The downside is losing a significant amount of ATK when doing this. Also you don't get to choose what effect gets negated, so your opponent can bait this. However, they you will still be forcing them to spend resources even if it's just for bait.

Gagaga Mancer

Gagaga Mancer
Gagaga Mancer
DARK Spellcaster ★4
ATK 100 / DEF 100
Gagaga XYZ [SR]
Once per turn: You can target 1 "Gagaga" monster in your Graveyard, except "Gagaga Mancer"; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Gagaga" monsters. If this card is detached from an Xyz Monster and sent to the Graveyard to activate that monster's effect: You can target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; it gains 500 ATK until the end of this turn.

Summon Mancer and use his effect to revive Gagaga Sister or Utopic Onomatopeia resulting in an Xyz summon. You can also start by summoning Utopic Onomatopeia and use his effect to put Mancer onboard. Mancer then revives a monster to fill your field.

As an Xyz material, Mancer is a great choice to detach from Samurai. This way Samurai gets a significant ATK boost to compliment his double attack effect.

Gagaga Child

Gagaga Child
Gagaga Child
DARK Spellcaster ★2
ATK 800 / DEF 1200
Yuma and Astral Lvl 7, 16, and 25 [SR]
If you control a "Gagaga" monster other than "Gagaga Child", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When you do: You can target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control with a different Level than this card; this card's Level becomes the Level of that monster. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect.

Special Summon Gagaga Child then have it copy the Level of a Level-4 Gagaga monster you control for an easy Rank-4. On some rare occasions you may control a Level-6 Gagaga Head, so Child can copy its Level and result in a Rank-6.

It's best to use Child during the first turn where its demerit won't really matter.

Dododo Buster

Dododo Buster
Dododo Buster
EARTH Warrior ★6
ATK 1900 / DEF 800
Shining Hope [R]
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If Summoned this way, its Level becomes 4. When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can target 1 "Dododo" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position.

Buster should be the first monster you play if you want to use it as Rank-4 material. The inherent Special Summoning effect is pretty good for putting a body on board, then you can just Normal Summon another Level-4 monster as its pair.

You can also Normal Summon Utpoic Onomatopeia, then use its effect to Special Summon Buster and Head. Buster and Head will then result in a Rank-6.

Gogogo Giant

Gogogo Giant
Gogogo Giant
EARTH Rock ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 0
Shark Fang [R]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "Gogogo" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position, then change this card to Defense Position. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase.

Giant is a simple Xyz enabler. Normal Summon it then revive a level-4 Gogogo monster to make a Rank-4 Xyz. This can be further extended if you target Utopic Onomatopeia for revival. Utopic Onomatopeia Special Summons another monster from your hand for a 3-material Xyz summon, or as preparation for a second Xyz summon.

Dododo Driver

Dododo Driver
Dododo Driver
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 200
Shark Fang [R]
Up to twice per turn, if this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Dododo" monster this turn: You can target 1 "Dododo" monster you control, then activate 1 of these effects:● Increase its Level by 1.● Reduce its Level by 1.

Special Summon Dododo Driver with Utopic Onomatopeia's effect. Use Driver's effect to manipulate both of their levels, giving you access to Rank-3, 4, and 5 Xyzs.

Gagagabolt

Gagagabolt
Gagagabolt
Normal Spell
Shining Hope [SR]
If you control a "Gagaga" monster: Target 1 card on the field; destroy that target.

Search for this with Sister's effect and use it to destroy your opponent's backrow so you can more safely continue the plays.

Gagagawind

Gagagawind
Gagagawind
Normal Spell
Shining Hope [N]
Special Summon 1 "Gagaga" monster from your hand as a Level 4 monster.

Most of your Main Deck monsters have Gagaga in their name so Gagagawind will almost never be dead in your hand. This Spell is a great Xyz play extender by putting more monsters on the field. Special Summon something like Gagaga Mancer or Zubababancho, monsters that can Special Summon another monster to combo into an Xyz play.

Techs

The deck actually has some great power output thanks to its consistency in bringing out two Xyz monsters in a single turn, plus easy spot removal by Gagagabolt. Mixing in these tech cards allow you to attack safely through enemy backrow.

Forbidden Lance
Forbidden Lance
Quick Spell
Valhalla Calling [UR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, that target loses 800 ATK, but is unaffected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards.
Mystical Space Typhoon
Mystical Space Typhoon
Quick Spell
Antinomic Theory [UR]
Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target.

How to do it with this dead skill u have less than 12 zubaba or dodo or gogo mnst?

its not a good idea to free sisters and the skill got buffed too wtf

Hm? Pretty sure the Skill remains the same as its last nerf.
<< Anonymous

^And there is no reason to buff it. Konami recently nerf harpies and selling cydra. Onomatoplay technically the only reason that deck beat everything in this game. OP probably only read the old skill description on this site.

You realize that something is seriously wrong when your opponent in the late game has only 1 last card in his hand, "Gagagabolt". Then he shuffles it back into the deck, picks up the correct monster and starts a really long combo..

I don't care if they even completely ban the entire deck, it doesn't matter anymore.

New world coming out soon, no one will play this anymore anyway I'm sure, it will be naturally powercreept

more cards should be dump into limit 2 just like what they did to darklord, shiranui, blackwing

I see now, since they released XYZ this year, so Onomato-cup to boost sales.

I am expecting to have a broken Pendulum skill next year then.

Lets see...
-5ds world release: Synchros domination throughout the year
-DSOD world release: BEWD domination throughout the year
-Zexal workd release: Onomato domination throughout the year

I bet after Arc-V world release we will suffer a pendulum donination throughout the year.

Mark my words.

As far as I know Aleister and spectralsword were not blue eyes cards, I think merchant and verre were not from the blue eyes archetype either

He messed up with the dates by the time invoked showed up darklord was still the sh it some boxes later it was dark magician. I still remember the dud blue eyes was with judgement force, everyone saying it'd compete with DM for the top bcz the synchro was good in tcg blah blah it's gonna make navigation useless blah blah blah

DSoD release was the advent of Dark Lords. Their draw power is more potent than the Ultimate Dragons, and Ultimate Dragons does not exist as a skill until the following year (DSoD is released in November).

🔥 human this deck should be gone. Throw at least 2 more Gagaga cards into limit 2 just like what they did to Shiranui before.

Imagine every other archtype has its own onomatoplay

And of course EXACTLY the same as it, no restrictions or any funny description

why do they keep forcing to make tra sh decks relevants just by adding an anime unbrick hand broken skill? same with resonators dude this game is about rng starting hands, if u r gonna add cheat skills for 1-2 decks then add them for all to be fair

Duel links is anime based and many people likes it. Also, having a different meta than tcg/ocg gives a variety to the game. And finally skills makes totally fun/meme decks like crystal beasts, masked beasts, stardusts, resonators etc being competitive. Some of them indeed need to become a little more balanced. If you don't like skills go enjoy Master Duels.

Or TCG, or yugioh on the console, or even kaiba the revenge. I lost track on how many yugioh games that IS NOT duel link exist.
Duel link, rush duel and cross duel is yugioh "secondary" game that was intended to be different from the main game series.

Complaining about a feature that supposed to make the game different from the main game is s1lly.
