Onomatoplay Return 2 "Zubaba", 'Gagaga", "Gogogo", or "Dododo" cards with different names from your hand to the Deck and add 2 "Zubaba", 'Gagaga", "Gogogo", or "Dododo" cards with different names from your hand to the Deck. This Skill can only be used once per Duel. | ![]() Yuma and Astral |
![]() Utopic Onomatopeia | LIGHT Warrior ★4 ATK 1500 / DEF 1500 |
Shining Hope [UR] | |
(This card is always treated as a "Zubaba", "Gagaga", "Gogogo", and "Dododo" card.) During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon up to 1 each "Zubaba", "Gagaga", "Gogogo", and/or "Dododo" monster(s) from your hand in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use this effect of "Utopic Onomatopoeia" once per turn. |
Utopic Onomatopeia is a versatile combo piece in this deck. Upon summoning Utopic Onomatopeia, you get to Special Summon as many of your Onomatopeia monsters from your hand as possible. This will easily put the materials onboard for making Rank-4.
Another trait of Utopic Onomatopeia that makes him a key card in this deck is that he counts as a monster of all Onomatopeia sub-archetypes. This means you can activate support such as Gagagabolt and Dodododraw with only him onboard.
![]() Gagaga Mancer | DARK Spellcaster ★4 ATK 100 / DEF 100 |
Gagaga XYZ | |
Once per turn: You can target 1 "Gagaga" monster in your Graveyard, except "Gagaga Mancer"; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Gagaga" monsters. If this card is detached from an Xyz Monster and sent to the Graveyard to activate that monster's effect: You can target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; it gains 500 ATK until the end of this turn. |
Summon Mancer and use his effect to revive Gagaga Sister or Utopic Onomatopeia resulting in an Xyz summon. You can also start by summoning Utopic Onomatopeia and use his effect to put Mancer onboard. Mancer then revives a monster to fill your field.
As an Xyz material, Mancer is a great choice to detach from Samurai. This way Samurai gets a significant ATK boost to compliment his double attack effect.
![]() Zubababancho Gagagacoat | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1800 / DEF 100 |
Gagaga XYZ | |
If you control a "Zubaba" or "Gagaga" monster except "Zubababancho Gagagacoat", while this card is in your hand: You can Special Summon this card. You can target 1 "Gogogo" or "Dododo" monster in your GY; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use each effect of "Zubababancho Gagagacoat" once per turn. |
This card is an amazing field extender. First Normal Summon Utopic Onomatopeia or Mancer to make your first Xyz monster. If that Xyz monster is a Zubaba or Gagaga, you can Special Summon this card, revive a monster, then make a second Xyz summon.
The effect that revives a monster is separate from its Special Summoning. This makes it much more versatile because with a full field, you can first make an Xyz monster to open a Monster Zone before revive a monster with this card's effect.
![]() Dododo Buster | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1900 / DEF 800 |
Shining Hope [R] | |
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If Summoned this way, its Level becomes 4. When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can target 1 "Dododo" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. |
![]() Dodododwarf Gogogoglove | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 0 / DEF 1800 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 "Zubaba" or "Gagaga" monster from your hand. If you control a "Gogogo" or "Dododo" monster except "Dodododwarf Gogogoglove", while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Dodododwarf Gogogoglove" once per turn. |
This monster is a great Xyz extender. The first effect lets you Special Summon most of the monsters in this Deck resulting in an Xyz play. The inherent revival effect only requires you have Utopic Onomatopeia or Dododo Driver on board to revive this card and reuse it as Xyz material.
![]() Gagaga Sister | DARK Spellcaster ★2 ATK 200 / DEF 800 |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Gagaga" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can target 1 other "Gagaga" monster you control; the Levels of that monster and this card become their combined current Levels, until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Gagaga Sister" once per turn. |
Search upon Normal Summon is a simple yet useful effect. This gives you quick access to support such as Gagagabolt and Dodododraw.
The level modulation effect is the sole reason this deck gets access to Rank-6 Xyz. Seeing that the Rank-6 toolbox offers some powerful monsters, this is a welcome addition.
![]() Gagaga Child | DARK Spellcaster ★2 ATK 800 / DEF 1200 |
Yuma and Astral Lvl 7, 16, and 25
If you control a "Gagaga" monster other than "Gagaga Child", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When you do: You can target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control with a different Level than this card; this card's Level becomes the Level of that monster. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect. |
![]() Gagaga Head | DARK Spellcaster ★6 ATK 2100 / DEF 2000 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing as a Level 4 monster. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target up to 2 "Gagaga" monsters in your Graveyard, except "Gagaga Head"; Special Summon them, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except by an Xyz Summon that uses only "Gagaga" monsters as materials. An Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card on the field as Xyz Material gains this effect. ● If it is Xyz Summoned: Draw 1 card. |
Like most of your Main Deck monsters, Gagaga Head is another Xyz enabler. Normal Summon Head when you control no monsters then revive two Level-4 Gagaga monsters. With three Level-4 monsters on the field, you'll have a ton of Xyz options. Another option is to revive Gagaga Sister, use her effect and target Head, then use both monsters to make a Rank-6. Head is also a great Xyz material because it replenishes your resources by giving you a free draw.
![]() Gagagabolt | Normal Spell |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
If you control a "Gagaga" monster: Target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. |
Simple spot removal. Samurai and Cowboy are excellent Rank-4's that can let you activate this card. Gagagabolt is an especially good follow-up to Samurai, letting you get closer to an OTK.
![]() Gagagawind | Normal Spell |
Shining Hope [N] | |
Special Summon 1 "Gagaga" monster from your hand as a Level 4 monster. |
Most of your Main Deck monsters have Gagaga in their name so Gagagawind will almost never be dead in your hand. This Spell is a great Xyz play extender by putting more monsters on the field. Special Summon something like Gagaga Mancer or Zubababancho, monsters that can Special Summon another monster to combo into an Xyz play.
![]() Dodododraw | Normal Spell |
Shark Fang [R] | |
Send 1 "Dododo" monster from your hand or face-up from your side of the field to the Graveyard; draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Dodododraw" per turn. |
Lets you dig into your deck. Use Utopic Onomatopeia as cost for this.
Here is an example of how you can fit Dodododraw into your combo.
The deck actually has some great power output thanks to its consistency in bringing out two Xyz monsters in a single turn, plus easy spot removal by Gagagabolt. Mixing in these tech cards allow you to attack safely through enemy backrow.
![]() Forbidden Lance | Quick Spell |
Valhalla Calling [UR] Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, that target loses 800 ATK, but is unaffected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards. |
![]() Hey, Trunade! | Normal Spell |
Rampage of the Forest [SR] Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [SR]
Return all Set Spells and Traps on the field to the hand. |
![]() Constellar Ptolemy M7 | LIGHT Machine ★6 ATK 2700 / DEF 2000 |
Infinite Ray [UR] | |
2 Level 6 monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Constellar" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material, other than "Constellar Ptolemy M7". (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If Summoned this way, the following effect cannot be activated this turn. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster on the field or in either player's Graveyard; return that target to the hand. |
Ptolemy M7 provides non-destruction removal which also doesn't send the target to the graveyard, bypassing most floating. Monsters that do not end up in the graveyard are also harder to recycle, especially if it was an Extra Deck monster.
You can also select a monster in your own graveyard and recover it.
![]() Photon Strike Bounzer | LIGHT Warrior ★6 ATK 2700 / DEF 2000 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
2 Level 6 monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a monster effect is activated on your opponent's side of the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the effect, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. |
Negating enemy monster effects is great for disrupting their plays, especially since most combos involve the use of a monster effect. An example is negating Noble Knight Medraut, Utopic Onomatopeia, etc. The burn damage upon negation is also quite a significant amount.
However, the negation effect does not destroy the negated monster, so this can be dangerous against powerful monsters like Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon.
![]() Fairy Knight Ingunar | EARTH Plant ★6 ATK 2200 / DEF 3000 |
Antinomic Theory [UR] | |
3 Level 6 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; return all other cards on the field to the hand. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation. |
Ingunar can be costly to summon but worth it for its field wipe effect. Ingunar even has self protection while activating his effect, making the field wipe virtually unstoppable.
![]() Number 70: Malevolent Sin | DARK Insect ★4 ATK 2400 / DEF 1200 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3. |
Malevolent Sin temporarily banishes a monster, possibly opening your opponent up for direct attacks. Do this when you need a non-destruction form of removal. Another thing to note is that banishing an Xyz monster gets rid of all their Xyz materials.
![]() Gagaga Samurai | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1900 / DEF 1600 |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control; it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. When another monster you control is targeted for an attack while this card is in Attack Position: You can change this card to Defense Position, and if you do, change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation. |
Samurai is a great monster for pushing damage. Detach Mancer from Samurai for an ATK boost, making the double attack even more potent.
![]() Gogogo Golem - Golden Form | EARTH Rock ★4 ATK ? / DEF 1500 |
Shark Fang [SR] | |
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Gogogo" monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's ATK becomes double the original ATK of the Tributed monster. Any battle damage your opponent takes from attacks involving this card is halved. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a monster effect is activated on your opponent's side of the field: This card loses exactly 1500 ATK, and if it does, negate that effect. |
Golden Form is a great monster to round out your field, because at most you can only make two Xyz monsters. Summon Golden form by tributing Utopic Onomatopeia, putting a 3000 ATK beater onboard. Aside from that he also prevents the opponent from activating monster effects. The downside is losing a significant amount of ATK when doing this. Also you don't get to choose what effect gets negated, so your opponent can bait this. However, they you will still be forcing them to spend resources even if it's just for bait.
![]() Dododo Driver | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1800 / DEF 200 |
Shark Fang [R] | |
Up to twice per turn, if this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Dododo" monster this turn: You can target 1 "Dododo" monster you control, then activate 1 of these effects:● Increase its Level by 1.● Reduce its Level by 1. |
Special Summon Dododo Driver with Utopic Onomatopeia's effect. Use Driver's effect to manipulate both of their levels, giving you access to Rank-3, 4, and 5 Xyzs.
![]() Gogogo Giant | EARTH Rock ★4 ATK 2000 / DEF 0 |
Shark Fang [R] | |
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "Gogogo" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position, then change this card to Defense Position. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. |
Giant is a simple Xyz enabler. Normal Summon it then revive a level-4 Gogogo monster to make a Rank-4 Xyz. This can be further extended if you target Utopic Onomatopeia for revival. Utopic Onomatopeia Special Summons another monster from your hand for a 3-material Xyz summon, or as preparation for a second Xyz summon.
![]() Mystical Space Typhoon | Quick Spell |
Antinomic Theory [UR] | |
Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target. |
![]() Fiendish Chain | Continuous Trap |
Selection Box Vol. 03 [UR] Shining Hope [UR]
Activate this card by targeting 1 Effect Monster on the field; negate that face-up monster's effects, also that face-up monster cannot attack. When it is destroyed, destroy this card. |
![]() Xyz Block | Counter Trap |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
When your opponent activates a monster effect: Detach 1 Xyz Material from a monster you control; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster. |
![]() Number 25: Force Focus | LIGHT Machine ★6 ATK 2800 / DEF 2400 |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
2 Level 6 monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Level 5 or higher Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate the effects of that opponent's face-up monster, until the end of the turn. |
One of the monsters you can summon by using Gagaga Sister. The ability to turn off a monster effect is extremely useful when dealing with problematic cards. This lets you play around effects such as Desperado Barrel Dragon and Masked HERO Koga.
![]() Adreus, Keeper of Armageddon | DARK Fiend ★5 ATK 2600 / DEF 1700 |
Shark Fang [SR] | |
2 Level 5 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy it. |
Rank-5s such as Adreus are made with Dododo Driver. Adreus has a decent ATK stat and an on-demand removal effect. Consider making Adreus over Dire Wolf if available, and if your removal target is face-up.
![]() Sword Breaker | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 2700 / DEF 1000 |
Shining Hope [R] | |
2 Level 6 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to declare 1 Monster Type; this card gains the following effect. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster of a Type that has been declared: Destroy that monster. |
The inherent removal effect is good for dealing with Decks that use a single Monster Type, and the destruction effect against the declared type will last as long as Sword Breaker remains face-up. Even without its effect, Sword Breaker is already a pretty strong beater.
![]() Steelswarm Roach | DARK Fiend ★4 ATK 1900 / DEF 0 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters During either player's turn, when a Level 5 or higher monster would be Special Summoned: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the Special Summon, and if you do, destroy it. |
![]() Diamond Dire Wolf | EARTH Beast ★4 ATK 2000 / DEF 1200 |
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field; destroy them. |
Diamond Dire Wolf gets rid of itself along with any enemy card. Use this as on demand removal against a problematic card, or secure your attacks by getting rid of enemy backrow.
![]() Number 50: Blackship of Corn | DARK Plant ★4 ATK 2100 / DEF 1500 |
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls with ATK less than or equal to this card's; send it to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. |
Black Ship of Corn gets rid of enemy walls while also dealing significant burn damage. Notably, this is an effective way of getting Ritual Beast Ulti-Pettlephin off the board.
