When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Silent Swordsman LV3" or "Silent Magician LV4" from your Deck to your hand. During either player's turn, when a Spell Card is activated that targets exactly 1 monster you control (and no other cards): You can negate the activation. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's control is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can target 1 LIGHT "LV" monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand.

Tips

Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman

Both Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman archetypes have Anti-Spell effects, with Silent Swordsman having the more controlling effect but also being harder to level-up into his final form. Silent Paladin lets you search both of their first forms to start leveling up. The first forms of these LV monsters are also good tributes to summon their non-LV versions

Aside from the Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman LV monsters, Winged Kuriboh LV9 is another monster you can revive when Silent Paladin is destroyed. Winged Kuriboh LV9 has an effect to banished Spell cards your opponent activated making them difficult to reuse. Winged Kuriboh LV9 can also be a good beater if you opponent has enough Spell cards already present in their graveyard.

And that all about this card.
It is sad, this card could have so much potential if it could search any silent magician/swordsman monster or if it was at least a tuner. Atm, is just a bad card that forces you to play the worst lv monsters in a silent magician/swordsman archtypes.

She's perfect as a Fairy, because she bridges the gap between Warrior (Silent Swordsman) and Spellcaster (Silent Magician)

That doesn't make and sense though. You could have had her as either a Warrior/Spellcaster with one of her effects being "This card is also a Spellcaster/Warrior type." If she had the ability to special summon Lv3 or Lv 4 silent monsters instead of adding them to the hand, she would have been so much more useful for a Lv-up! focused deck.

Well there are a lot of decks out the there that use sm lv4 (I run one of these decks)and it works quiet well you just need to tweak it

Yeah, works well.
I think they are comparing with the current meta. A Silent deck can be good on rookie tournaments or gold and below but it's weak against the actual meta. Silent monsters can beat the actual meta, I recognize that, but normally that's happen 1 or 2 times every 15 duels.

I play lvl 3 in my deck because you you summound it straight to the field then use lvl up for a lvl 5 or just to put SS. Lvl mod is a must have card using any lvl deck as well.

less "luckily" and more like "I'm sure they intended it".

It's a support to both a Spellcaster and a Warrior, so to not show any favoritism, this card is neither.

It could have a effect of tipe changes, like that zombi/dino gemini moster, but you have to chose warrior o spellcaster tipe.

They didn't include type changing effect because she has a long effect already.

The problem with the card is that you need to play ss lv3 or sm lv4, which you don’t play those if you’re playing either deck lol

Being able to recycle Silent Swordsman Lv7 would have been interesting if this card had decent stats...

It doesn't have decent stats tho.
