Pros

  • Special summonable monster that can be done easily in a rock-type deck.
  • With only 3 monsters in the graveyard, it will have 2100 attack and defense, which is already higher than most level 4 or lower monsters.
  • The attack and defense after summoned is considered base status, making it unaffected by Reverse Trap, but it is not usable with Gift of the Martyr.

Cons

  • Requires at least 1 rock-type monster in the graveyard to special summon.
  • Not very effective outside of rock-type decks other than for tribute summoning.

You can send rock monsters if they are earth, to the graveyard to be used for special summoning Megarock.

Delta The Magnet Warrior

Delta The Magnet Warrior

Good in a magnet deck since they are all rock type monsters. Sending Delta to the graveyard is also beneficial to summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, which makes it work well with Megarock.

Needlebug Nest

This will make it so that you can summon Megarock much faster, but only for decks that are mostly rock type monsters. This also works well with Naturia Rock so you can special summon Megarock with 4200 attack next turn.

yeah. mega rock dragon was his last card. i had 700 hp left and had sphere kuriboh. won by deck out

I've had it go to 7700 for me. If you plan on getting the cards on brink bonus, just make sure you have something like a windstorm or kuribo ready and some sort of monster removal like breath of light.
