The long awaited GX character Zane Truesdale will finally be unlockable starting July 23. Bringing with him his long awaited Cyber Dragon cards and possibly also the unreleased Cyberdark Archetype to Duel Links. This page contains speculations on what his possible rewards and characters skills. Will be updated when more information becomes available, so stay tuned!

Notes

Cyberdarkness Dragon is summoned by using 5 Cyberdark monsters as materials which is an extremely heavy cost.
Fill your deck with Cyberdark monsters so that you can use any of your monsters as fusion material.
It is recommended to duel weak legendary duelist to efficiently pull off the summoning.
Use Future fusion to use monsters from your deck as fusion materials.
Draw cards like Jar of Greed can be helpful by helping you get to your materials quicker.
Fusion Recycling Plant searches Polymerization and can also recover it from the graveyard.

EX Jewels can only be obtained from event mission rewards (event + weekly), and farming Zane Truesdale. You can not save the EX Jewels for the next event because they will expire when the EX Jewels shop closes. It is recommended that you carefully choose what to spend them on, because you can not obtain anymore after the Zane Truesdale event ends.

According to Konami's logic, a 2100 ATK special summon when the opponent has a monster and you don't is broken. But a 2500 Atk special summon that banishes opp cards from the graveyard and a 2800 DEF special sumon that negates both spells and traps is OK?

I agree I hate the fur for hires I don't understand the logic of how cyber dragon is op those are the most op cards I've ever seen no other cards just destroys and banishes your entire field then leaves u open for direct attack there's literally nothing u can do unless u draw a card effect negation of some kind but that's all luck honestly wish they'd just nerf it down

I don't expect newer players to remember what I'm gonna say, but if any vets are there reading, you'll recall Upper Deck Entertainment. UDE was a true version of what people call "Komoney". I won't get into it because it's quite extensive...but that's where my "faith" in Konami comes from, I support their decisions because they will do what is necessary to keep the game alive.

I'm missing only 1 Horn.
But I'm gonna keep farming it with that deck every day to get a bunch of R/SR/UR orbs for later, and hopefully, a prismatic card or two.

He needed the Original Cyber Dragon.
I think they'll repeat the event and give Claw,Cannon,Inferno.
But it's due time for Cyber Dragon.
Even a single copy of Twin Dragon and Power Bond would be fantastic additions; this could be a really good competitive deck, and even then I don't think it'd be Tier Zero.

I would have taken 1 cyber dragon to start with, or even have all 3 as level up rewards, but nothing...I was willing to have a little faith since I've stuck by this game for so long, I'd really hoped they'd do this right. Truly disappointing.

Yes, Fur Hires are broken. But they do not represent the overall power level of Duel Links. They will be nerfed at some point, and nothing else right now is even close to their power.

One problem doesn't make another problem acceptable.

We are waaaay passed the point when you can call this power creep. Ever since we got cyber angels the game was never the same again. and now we have cards that banish like onslaugh, tons of otk decks, so what if they get nerfed 2 months later or more! by that argument they can nerf cyber dragon if it rly turned out to be a problem right?

No as Emperor's Holiday only negates the effects of equip cards. The atk increase is because of the Cyberdark monster's effect so since the effect isn't coming from the equipped monster, it won't be negated. Just won't get to activate any effects of the equipped monster (If it has any applicable effects while as an equip card)

I believe he admitted to abusing the Cyber cards in the Anime, but I don't recall him threatening Syrus as harsh as he's being portrayed in the event. Maybe the original Japanese script is a bit harsher since the GX Anime got pretty dark after the first Arc. I kinda like both Zane versions since they both have their strengths and the "dark" Zane ends ups accepting Syrus as respectable duelist.

ideas for banish are cyber network to cyber laser dragons +lots of cost cards that require discards so you won't get stuck(fusion recycling planetdivine wrath etc)
