According to Konami's logic, a 2100 ATK special summon when the opponent has a monster and you don't is broken. But a 2500 Atk special summon that banishes opp cards from the graveyard and a 2800 DEF special sumon that negates both spells and traps is OK?

We get plenty of good cards for free, E-Con is free...one of the best cards in the game since it's debut; just because we didn't get Cyber Dragon doesn't mean we won't be getting it at all. Also, CyDra is splashable and it's quite a dangerous card to let into the card pool, especially with Synchros coming up soon.

We might not be seeing a Machine Meta like I had hoped for, but there will be a big change in the game once Synchros roll in, and there will probably be another one after the next 2 sets.

Nonsense, the game is still F2P, it's just a bit more difficult to play against paying players. If you're into this for casual duels, then you can still enjoy the game for farming and causal PVP (even on the ladder). If you are still F2P and want to reach KOG, you embrace the meta and try to win despite the difference in card availability.

In other words, you can enjoy casual gaming as intended or accept the challenge and go for KOG. If it was easy, it wouldn't be much of a challenge and bore the players that are in it for the grind. I would also find more pride in reaching KOG with a F2P deck than with a P2W Deck.

Maybe for now but have you seen the rate of the nerfs? I can bet you all the 5ds characters will also lose their 300 gems EACH if not MORE! Soon enough we will get characters with almost no gem rewards then we will see you still find some silly excuse to defend Konami!

I quitted Duel links months ago. I only enjoy the game through youtube content. Duel links is soo ambitious.

Even so, they won't reduce the gem rewards from old characters and they offer a substantial sum in total. From personal experience, a new account will offer enough gems for at least a year's worth of playing. A F2P account won't lose anything after a reroll as everything obtained was free, if you save each account, you can always go back.

You're extremely reasonable. But kinda pity you for being so gullible. How could you have so much faith in konami? Did anyone expect an asspull like removing level30 gem rewards? ofcourse not. No guarantee they wont go back and do this to all old characters also :/ this needs to stop before they lose control! also if that's always ur main point they'll notice and ruin your idea as well!

I agree I hate the fur for hires I don't understand the logic of how cyber dragon is op those are the most op cards I've ever seen no other cards just destroys and banishes your entire field then leaves u open for direct attack there's literally nothing u can do unless u draw a card effect negation of some kind but that's all luck honestly wish they'd just nerf it down

I don't expect newer players to remember what I'm gonna say, but if any vets are there reading, you'll recall Upper Deck Entertainment. UDE was a true version of what people call "Komoney". I won't get into it because it's quite extensive...but that's where my "faith" in Konami comes from, I support their decisions because they will do what is necessary to keep the game alive.
