Marik Ishtar

Overview

Marik Ishtar is a character that's suspected to be coming soon. There are several files found in the game showing a character selection icon, and a player profile icon. Similar to Yugi Muto, he has an alter ego called Yami Marik. His Yami version is more likely to be an unlockable character to avoid having 2 of the same character. Marik Ishtar might make an appearance through a mini event just like the Yugi Muto event.

Cards

Based on the anime, Marik Ishtar takes control of other people and use their decks to duel and does not duel himself, unless he is in his Yami Marik form. If he were to appear, he could be bringing other gravekeeper monsters like Gravekeeper's Descendant, similar to Ishizu and Odion's duel rewards.

Unless you stall and luckily get out multiple Aegis and gain 6k, so you would have a 6400, or 9400 Ra, and even then, SRH works on it does it not?

If you start with 500 Ra's attack is dependent on how many Life Points you pay

Unless the "mysterious tower" they referred to in the upcoming updates news is referring to Kaiba's Alcatraz tower where the Battle City finals took place, I don't think it would happen in September. Maybe in December? That way, we could all have a very Marik Christmas if he is unlockable in the event. XD

İ think battle city and ''big baloon'' will be in 1 event and it is gonna be like duelist kingdom event when you beat yami marik (using ra) you will unlock regular marik

Marik will likely be coming later with an event similar to the Yugi Muto one, except encompassing the Battle City story arc.

The fact that there is something about a "Yami" Joey makes me wonder if that could be part of a Marik Ishtar unlock event.

So do I! I don't know if it will be this time, but I wouldn't be surprised if Konami lets use him eventually. And I wouldn't be surprised if they really dragged it out with tempting us like they did with Yami Marik.

Well, at least Konami isn't pretending that he doesn't even exist like they seem to be doing with Ryou Bakura. Either way, I hope this Marik will drop more of the cards listed here. I would especially like Newdoria.
