Pros

  • Can destroy multiple set spell/trap cards.

Cons

  • 1600 attack can make it more difficult to survive and it also has low defense.
  • Destroys itself if summoned without other psychic monsters.
  • Once activated, it can't be stopped. If your opponent only has Wild Tornado, then you will have to destroy it.
  • 1000 LP to activate its effect.

Why is that this card can't destroy continuous or semi-continuous cards? Nowhere in the description it says any limitation, just "destroys the card".
Yet, when against cards that don't inmediately go to the graveyard after activation (such as metalmorph, mirror wall, apophis incarnation) the cards can be activated AND remain in the field.
This doesn't happen with cards like stamping destruction. This card is already well limited (self destruction, paying LP, unable to destroy face up cards) so I don't see why it should have such weakness

Anyways. Of course they can still chain it to the effect of this guy like every"semi continuous" spell/trap if the conditions are met. Thats just how it works

It says target one set card and destroy "that target." If the card is activated, it is no longer the same target (a set card) and thus is not destroyed. If the phrasing was "target one set card and destroy it" then chaining wouldn't stop it from being destroyed.

I like this in farm decks. 1 card that can destroy stuff in the backrow, reduce your LP for assesment points and destroy itself so you don't brick yourself. Solid for farming imo.

I thought I was unlucky pulling 2 of these and then getting a third with the sale. I can't wait to get the UR Spell card with this.
