This page notes details of Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar (LIGHT/Reptile/Synchro Monster/Effect Monster) : decks, tips, effect and rulings. Learn and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links!
"Alien Ammonite" + 1 or more non-Tuner "Alien" monsters Once per turn, you can select any number of face-up Spell or Trap Cards. Return those cards to their owners' hands, and distribute new A-Counters among monsters on the field equal to the number of cards returned. Once per turn, you can remove 2 A-Counters from anywhere on the field to destroy 1 card your opponent controls.
Relies on face-up Spell/Trap cards to spread A counters.
Tips
Returning your own Spell/Trap cards to your hand allows you to reuse them if they have effects upon activation.
You can return Spell/Trap cards that boost your opponent’s attack to indirectly debuff them.
Summoning
Alien Ammonite is a requirement to summon Cosmic Fortress Gol’gar. Luckily Alien Ammonite’s effect makes this easy by Special Summoning the non-Tuner monster you need to Synchro Summon. Special Summon a level-4 Alien with Alien Ammonite’s effect.
Cosmic Fortress Gol’gar can only destroy your opponent’s cards if you have A-counters to spend so here are some cards you can use to Spread A-counters on the field.
That monster sounds freakishly strong for a duel links card.
A free hey trunade effect (just instead of face down, it's face up cards, which is weaker, sure, but hey, it's free. And with hey Trunade in the game, you can bascily return the entire backrow)
And a free 'destroy 1 card' per turn effect. (sure you need 2 counters on the field, but you should have loads of those when you play alien)
I mean, it's not op sounding.
But there's not realy any other card that compairs. (Blackrose would somewhat, but that is a skill card.)
