This deck requires heavy investment and Box resets, but having multiple Relinquished, along with the supports to summon him faster can be really strong. This is mostly an "all-in" version of the deck, without using cards like Interdimensional Matter Transporter to protect it, and focusing on its ability to get summon multiple Relinqsuihed.
There are 2 ways to use Relinquished, take control of your opponent's strong monster to beat their weaker ones, or take their weaker ones and attack into their stronger ones to deal damage. The latter only works if your opponent's LP is lower than yours, and if the damage that you take does not finish you off right away, while the former is good if you want to play offensively.
A common strategy that people sometimes do early in the duel, when your opponent only has 1 set monster and you can summon Relinquished, summon a monster, then summon Relinquished and take their set monster. This can potentially allow you to direct attack your opponent early. Having them at lower LP than you will give you quite a huge advantage in a Relinquished deck. You also don't have to be very conservative about using Sphere Kuriboh to defend, since you can use Sphere as the sacrifice material to get Relinquished out.
With only 3 Harpies in the deck, and no way to search for them, they won't be appearing as often, but the threat of Harpies' Hunting Ground field spell can make your opponent play more cautiously about their spell/trap cards.
Additionally, in a Relinquished deck, Harpies can be used to destroy your Relinquished's equipped card instead of your opponent's spell/trap. Then your Relinquished can take a monster your opponent controls again.
now that the rebalance went through, i just want to give a special shoutout to this deck.
HHG Relinq. my darling. you've shown me things ive never seen before. platnium 2 brought out the animals in the both of us. it has been a blast. but it's time to move on. ill miss you. it's me, not you. youre not useless, and many will pick you up in the future.
there's someone else in my life now.
as we look forward to this meta shift i have to do what is necessary to to become the best.
take care of yourself, and you will never be forgotten.
Like how I just lost to 3sd. Guy went second and got dark magic girl, 2 sage stone and thousand knives on his first turn and won. Some times the game just fucks u in the ass. That's why u can't take it so seriously.
I spent most of my free gems on as a f2p player on a garlandolf deck and I'll tell u the more special summoning that they keep coming out with the easier it is for garlandolf to wipe a person's entire hand and win. Im absolutely demolishing all the red eyes b decks with him.
Mirror Wall, Senju (if you wan't to build a Relinq or other ritual decks if they become viable in the future,) and Stamping Destruction are the only cards worth getting in Neo Impact. Out of them only Mirror Wall is splashable, so I'd say it is far from the best pack.
Well, if you get youd hands in good UR and SR cards easy, yes i agree that neo to rutial decks and ultimate are good packs.
But not everyone can spend so much to get especific and repeated UR cards and reseting boxes in 2 diff packs
Neo is definitely a must for ritual decks, beans man, leotaur and mirror wall. Ultimate rising is definitely the best box in the game. Everyone should have kuriboh, order2charge, 4starlady bug, share of greed, beud, and trap jammer. It's the best pack to get off to a good start. Im not sure what id do if I was a new player starting right now.
This deck isn't even THAT good lol.
I run the exact same deck except 2 matter transporters in place of 2 enemy controllers and keep oscillating between gold 5 and plat 1. Deck is just as prone to RNG luck as all the others.
I don't get why this deck is rated high Whenever Relinquished is brought out, I order to charge whichever monster is being targeted or Econ take relinquished the monster. Regular HHG is better than this.
Also I play this deck and I put 2 Interdimentional Matter Transporter instead of 3rd Relinquished and playing around OtC is easy unless my opponent has an insane hand but still, Vanilla Harpie deck is able to play against this deck. Both are pretty strong.
I got 3 x Sonic Bird, 2 x Kuriboh and 1 x Senju without paying any money and I have been playing less than 3-4 months.
