I need help and advise
I set both my security orb and an Econ,to protect my petit moth from being destroyed: mind you it was against lv10 weevil who has no spell or traps to stop the activation.

Please tell me why my security orb didn't activate on attack declaration but my set econ did? I'm trying to pull out my Perfect Great Moth combo but I can't.

this card is not bad at all, it can be really useful in the right hands

I know that this card is not a very good trap card when compared with what is mostly used today (canadia, floodgate, treacherous). But is it truly bad? Lately I have been thinking that with all of the cosmic cyclones, and even the less used double cyclones or dust tornados, that this card has more potential than it did before. And switching an opponent's monster to defense is always good anyway. Thoughts?

I forgot that cosmic cyclone will banish, not destroy. Since the card text doesn't mention banishing, this is pretty much useless.

It'd be slightly better if it worked when destroyed by monster effects, due to Recon. But there's really no reason to use it over Canadia or Sphere Kuriboh. They both do its job better.

Okay i noticed something weird,after a fierce battle eith an opponent using toon monsters with toon kingdom ,my security orb didn't activate when toon skull attacked ,and my opponent didn't have any cards left to draw ,is it like a glitch or it doesn't activate in this situation ?

Actually,it's not the first time ,it didn't activate in previous times against toon monsters ,but when other monsters attack me directly, it activates

"Security Orb"'s effect targets the opponent's monster and "Toon Kingdom" prevents Toons from being targeted.

how is this card Rare while Enemy Controller and Wild Tornado are Super Rare?!?

Because you can activate Enemy Controller whenever you want (ie during your battle step to change something from attack -> defense position so you can 🔥 it) and stealing an opponents monster can give you lethal pretty easily in a lot of situations, whereas Security Orb can only activate when they declare an attack. Wild Tornado works when you destroy it yourself, whereas Security Orb does not

I really like this card.

I set this card while I was farming super Joey and when I use storm to destroy his back row security orbs second effect did not activate. Anyone knows why?

sometimes reading the Card is a way to get Information.
Activate only when your opponent's monster declares an attack. Change the battle position of that monster. When this face-down card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card your OPPONENT controls, destroy 1 monster on the field.

In a pvp battle, my opppnent went through the trouble of ritual summon paladin of white dragon to get BEWD. He then used stamping destruction on my security orb lol.

Farming econ until i'm broke on gate keys and still got nothing. I guess this card can temporarily replace that

I had to earn all 3 econs from kc cup and wcs. I farmed kaiba dry and never got even one. Real annoying.

Set this card for 2 turns; opponent attacked w/ BEWD and card did not activate. Then set Asura priest; BEWD attached and card still did not activate. What did I do wrong?
