Decent ATK stats.
Special Summons another “Jurrac” monster with 1700 or less ATK
from your Deck when this monster destroys an opponent’s monster by battle.

Cons

Weak DEF stats susceptible to position switching plays.
The Special Summoned “Jurrac” monster cannot attack during that turn it was Special Summoned via Jurrac Guaiba’s effect.

Tips

Although being able to Special Summon another monster during your Battle Phase provides significant advantage to your field numbers, the drawback of not being able to attack does slow down your overall assault and it can be disadvantageous for you if your opponent can manipulate your monsters during their next turn.

Special Summon Options

These are some of the viable options for Special Summon. You can choose to Special Summon another Jurrac Guaiba to the field for more field protection. You can Special Summon Jurrac Iguanon as an alternative, so that the next turn when it battles it will return 1 set card from your opponent’s field back to their hand, if it destroys an opponent’s monster by battle. You can Special Summon Jurrac Ptera in defense mode, should this monster be attacked by your opponent, it can trigger its effect of sending the attacking monster back to your opponent’s hand, and gains DEF equal to the returned monster’s Level x 100.

People comparing Hydro and this card as better/worse is stupid since they are for two different style Dino decks

Hydro is for classic Dino rush beatdown usually paired with Evil Sal or Black Brachasaurus with Jurassic World for fast OTK wins if opponent has no protection.

Considering DLs is a fast paced version of a game that is already fast paced where sneaky Hydro + Evil Sal/Black Branco OTKs are necessary some people will argue forfeiting the attack is too deep of a cost when there is an alternative Dino who can attack and literally can swap a 3 vs 1 monster scenario in your favor.

This card is however is more versatile with the special summons since it’s for an archetype rather then a specific card and it’s gonna be more consistent since your screwed if your starting hand is X3 or even X2 Hydros. It’s also worth noting it’s a 1700 vs 1600 attack situation [2000 vs 1900 with field skill] where this card edges out in attack juice where 2000 can be all the difference against certain cards say Snowmen or 1900 beaters.

Long story is if your not gonna stick with Jurrac archetype all the way to take full advantage of what you can special summon and just want the generic dinos then Hydro is the better bet. Otherwise don’t run Hydro with Jurrac

Guaiba's only better if you're facing a slow deck, which barely exist at the moment. Against anything else, they'll just destroy what you Summon off Guiaba before you can do anything useful with it. Hydrogeddon's basically always going to be better. (Though Hydro's not amazing right now, either, since a lot of the common decks don't leave things it can beat over on the field for very long.)

Suck? While you can't deal damage, that 100 attack means a lot in this meta. Also because Guaiba will be able to eventually summon tuners to synchro for later.

We don't have a 2nd main phase which makes synchro with this card hard.

Hydrogeddeon only lets you summon an other copy of itself. This can summon any Jurrac. This is much more consistent. And who needs MP2 to synhcro with this, when using Urgent Tuning is more effective.

This is a better version of Hydrogeddon. That's obvious if you aren't bad at the game.
