  • Good attack and level 5.
  • Treated as normal monster so Order to Charge can be used.

You all need to know that this card is SO bonkers for how easy is it to summon.

All you need is a Spell called Insect Imitiation and a level 4 mon of ANY type and attribute (not even limited to Insect type) and you summon this instantly from deck turn 1. AND it has a freaking 2350 Attack and a powerful effect that not even Stray Lambs can save you.

but dat dino and suijin can only attacks once. if opponent have tribute materials, they would just tribute for a stronger monster. this grasschopper can attack all enemies and wipe them.

and of course you need that condition where u have suijin and stray lambs specifically in your hand; where this combo just need insect imitation and any lv4 insect monsters

You have very good odds of being able to get it on turn one. All you need is insect imitation and any 4 star. If you're going second, then you have 5 cards to work with. Even better odds. If you put your deck together well you can easily get it first turn like, 70% of the time. Most people run cards that can easily eliminate big monsters anyway so an easy to get -

- 2350 monster that can burn through potential tribute monsters is probably better than running some giant 7+ star that's just gonna get hane hane'd anyway. It's only one tribute. Super easy to get out - pretty high attack and highly versatile since it can act as a normal monster too. Suspect a Relinquished deck? Keep it normal and set an order to charge down.
It's impossible to drop this card, i've already spent thousend keys and didn't gotten one... has someona already gotten one? because i've never seen one in a pvp duel too...

Same thing here. I ended up using my SR from the KC Cup on it out of frustration (although now I wish I had a prismatic ECon). Same problem with Joey's Gilford the Lightning for the longest time, but I finally pulled it earlier this week.

I actually get these a lot, i just converted 4 of them and still had 3 left
I wonder...if you were to use 3 star demotion on this, would it count as a normal summon, allowing you to activate it's effects the first turn?

Your still using up a normal summon. You would have to special summon it than normal summon it.
day 10, still cant figure it out how to active his effect

You just tap on his card and choose "Normal Summon." Obviously, you can only do so during a turn that you haven't already normal summoned a monster.
Funny enough, I have this card and I don't remember where I got it. I don't have Weevil Underwood unlocked at the gate too. The only thing that pops in my head is those exchange card tickets. I think I exchanged a ticket for this card.

Likely one of the DM rainbow packs from one of the D.D. Tower events.
How do you use its effect? I've tried summoning mulitple ways but I can never get its effect to activate to where it can attack all monsters

u can active next turn after u do normal summon. i have 2 of this and its op for 5 star.
Managed to get one of these from a level 30 Weevil after only doing one prior hard farm with Cerb (approximately 7k each time) and was very happy. Unfortunately, have been having 0 success farming Odion for Millenium Scorpion.

A few tips to play with Grasschopper and Insect Imitation.
Tribute Blue Dragon Summoner to Special Summon Grasschopper, and get free 1 Normal Dragon/Spellcaster/Warrior monster. Thin your deck by 2 is a bonus. If you tribute Embodiment of Apophis, you can Normal Summon Grasschopper and get its effect in one turn! Grasschopper deck carried me to platinum.
Love this cards artwork and overall usefulness. Well worth the farming.
It is only me that is unable to obtain this card from Weevil? :(

As someone who don't play Dragunity, may I ask what single word ruined this card?
They gave us this and Duos Megistus, but no Tris Megistus and Macro Cosmos haha
