You all need to know that this card is SO bonkers for how easy is it to summon.
All you need is a Spell called Insect Imitiation and a level 4 mon of ANY type and attribute (not even limited to Insect type) and you summon this instantly from deck turn 1. AND it has a freaking 2350 Attack and a powerful effect that not even Stray Lambs can save you.
You're over exaggerating super hard. 4 star monster + insect imitation is a 2 card combo for a 2350 monster. There are a ton of better 2 card combos in the game already. A Rex deck can put down a Dinosaur with black pendant (2400 atk). A Mako deck can use stray lambs into Sujin (2700 atk). Not to mention the unlimited amount of counters like Yomi ship, Hane Hane, Michizure, etc.
Correction: 4 star monster + Insect Imitation + Grasschopper is a 3 card combo. Very hard to do in one turn. Though, I still respect this card somewhat because of its powerful effect.
Replying to the dude in the comment section : it's not hard to do in one turn because you don't have to have the grasschoper in your hand, it's summoned from your deck, so it's effectively a two cards combo from your hand + one from the deck, pretty good.
how to normal summoned it when face up on the field? i cant get an effect because i cant normal summoned it twice, of course i tried in the second stand by phase from i normal summoned it, actually i use insect imitaion for summoned it. have i normal summon it by tribute to active normal summon twice? and i done it when it face up defence position, is it a must?
but dat dino and suijin can only attacks once. if opponent have tribute materials, they would just tribute for a stronger monster. this grasschopper can attack all enemies and wipe them.
and of course you need that condition where u have suijin and stray lambs specifically in your hand; where this combo just need insect imitation and any lv4 insect monsters
You have very good odds of being able to get it on turn one. All you need is insect imitation and any 4 star. If you're going second, then you have 5 cards to work with. Even better odds. If you put your deck together well you can easily get it first turn like, 70% of the time. Most people run cards that can easily eliminate big monsters anyway so an easy to get -
- 2350 monster that can burn through potential tribute monsters is probably better than running some giant 7+ star that's just gonna get hane hane'd anyway. It's only one tribute. Super easy to get out - pretty high attack and highly versatile since it can act as a normal monster too. Suspect a Relinquished deck? Keep it normal and set an order to charge down.
