NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

BW has its ups and downs, even out of the tier for a while. It's not always tiered since December 2019.

It's unlike Darklord which is indeed always tiered until the deck gets nerfed and powercrept.

BE tier 3 at best, it struggles agaisnt Desperado, Water XYZ, no chance against turn 2 NK, Thunderdragons somewhat 50/50, many decks such as Onomat, Infernity (Trunade) or Dragunities can just OTK it.

By brick you mean don't get Karma cut in your starting hand? Sorry but this combo is all this deck has. You can get some wins with luck (going first, summon Spirit and set some traps) and hope your opponent doesn't have Trunade or some other surprise. In all other cases, just uh

No matter how strong your deck, if your luck is bad then your chance of losing is nearly 99,9%. I've ise lot of meta deck (shiranui, blue-eyes, invoked, neos, etc.). But in the end the reason i lost is because my opponent keep drawing the card they need.
Trust me, luck play bigger part in this game

Yea, everyone is trying to get 99% consistency. But when everyone is playing at 99% consistency, there will be no dueling card game, but just a coin toss who going first.

Makes sense, I've always ran fun decks vs tier 0/1, aromages, deskbot, scraps, dante. I won a lot despite having the "weaker" deck and we always based it on me having insane luck despite my decks always being consistent

Probably get destroyed by any of these except blue eyes but my incomplete scrap dragon deck is 4/4 in KC. 4/5 in pvp since one match I got greedy and wasn't watching the time. 500 hp left 5200 damage on the field and he had no monsters but I had 1 second

However, i've seen a even better versio must admit :P It had CARD OF THE SOUL to draw nephtys from deck to hand and also Barong :O

BE is sh!t now even when it is not brick.
Half of my opponents in the KC used various cards that prevented the summoning of light and high level monsters.

Well it is kinda inconsistent. Sometimes i even end up with 2 BE, one Card of C, and 2 trap that usually would be destroyed on the next turn.
I even clapped them in Ranked legend with vendread and dragunity which is technically weaker due to spirit dragon, but still win anyway since blue eyes brick that often.

Give BE trade-in and it might change things. Card of C doesn't really work that well

Dragunity can easily OTK BE. The only threat is Karma cut but I have seen many players use Forbidden lance to dodge it

Noble knights being above BE seems weird especially since BE have double the amount of kog entries than NK

BECAUSE IS MUCH MORE POPULAR AND LESS PAY WALL

If konami introduce a new archetype in a mini box, everyone gonna play it. In comparison to NK or BE (Assuming that archetype is t2-t1 material) spend like 9-11k gem's for guarantee months/year of kog and/or good rank on tournaments is better. look at Shiranui, Fur Hire, etc.

Have you ever tried playing BE against full established NK board? Their floating effects, when you destroy their unit, they summon another in its place, re-equip all spell cards and destroy your card on your own turn.

You only have a chance if you disrupt their first summon and OTK them quickly

It will require LP loss or usable after turn 3/5 after this if it is that much of a problem.

This skill may also stay as it is, to promote Xyz

Here are also some other things that can help without medraut or merlin starting: Wait to activate the equip searcher when your opponent attacks. Add some canadia or floodgate to work with arf to pop your opponents monsters. Starting with borz can at least go through your deck quicker. Still, medraut and merlin are better to open with, though.

Sure they can combo off with 2 cards but the end result is a single xyz with 2 or 3 equips. The deck doesn’t have its own disruption or negation
