No matter how strong your deck, if your luck is bad then your chance of losing is nearly 99,9%. I've ise lot of meta deck (shiranui, blue-eyes, invoked, neos, etc.). But in the end the reason i lost is because my opponent keep drawing the card they need.
Trust me, luck play bigger part in this game
Have you played against Destiny draw Yugi player?
This skill is so ridiculous that sometimes I am even afraid to attack my opponent directly if I know that I cannot finish the duel in one turn.
Ability to pick any card of your choice is too strong in a game where the player can completely recover and start a deadly combo with just one card (Aleister and etc)
completely recover
wrong, that's why consistency plays a part on whether the deck is strong or not. if it keeps bricking then it's probably another trash deck. maybe ur making a grey version of the meta with f2p cards that's why it lacks consistency on your part.
No. It IS luck. Even if you build your deck with 99% consistency, but your opponent - who also got 99% consistency - goes first, you're screwed. Your foe already got Karma and Cyclone set.
I say, this is a game based on luck, and our exploiting-consistency strategy kills it.
If it is 99% vs 99% then you can say yes, luck determine the winner. But if you play a deck with 50% consistency against your opponent with 99% then forget about your winning chance. Overhyped anime deck with 20% consistency will not bring you far.
Yea, everyone is trying to get 99% consistency. But when everyone is playing at 99% consistency, there will be no dueling card game, but just a coin toss who going first.
Makes sense, I've always ran fun decks vs tier 0/1, aromages, deskbot, scraps, dante. I won a lot despite having the "weaker" deck and we always based it on me having insane luck despite my decks always being consistent
