NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

Why GB was demoted to popular deck ????

GB basically comes down how much backrow you have. You can make all kinds of decks work with 3x WoD, Canadia etc.

When the deck is built right. That doesn’t make a difference. That’s why I have treacherous and forbidden chalice
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Forbidden Chalice doesn’t usually do much to Geargia, except make them beefier, and perhaps buy you a turn. Treacherous Tilt Hope is a problem for Geargia however, GB being a backrow trap reliant deck, it often is a dead card, so it’s not wise to run it.

But my gb is annoy n beat everyone all the time even people expensive deck

Bujins Tier 2?? They can't even win against Fur Hire! Furries are still OP with Wiz, Seal, and recon!

I win many duels against fur with bujin tho. Your opponents probably suck. Bujin is on par against other meta decks in term of matchups, but it has more weaknesses than others, like dna, mill, burn, yubel, mighty slugger, etc. It's great in tournament format, but for rank up, still need much luck

DNA surgery and canadia counter bujins so hard

Fur hire is still at least tier 3.

Iv discovered a peculiar thing,if you run 3 mirror wall,3 WOD and few more strong traps in 1 deck it always bricks and that's without any lvl 5 or higher monsters in it. I believe the game is rigged in such way to make people always buy latest meta :/

Yes this game cannot be fair cause that would make a lot less money for konami
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
konami can monetize with its game, but now it looks greedy. there are not good farm cards, useless event cards, boring miniboxes...all f2p and budget decks cant fight against the actual meta and the only meta decks are expensive or p2w.

Honestly, I'd suggest going for a Tier 2 or slightly lower deck. They stick around much longer, so the investment pays off for much longer. It's hard to keep chasing the best deck in format. Focus on something like Bujins or Geargia that's likely to stick around a while, and you'll be able to achieve KoG for a long time.

You miss spell other haha ^_^

Okay the tier list is better now but:
1.bujins should be tier 3 not 2, you need to open with yamato and even if you do so canadia/floodgates (popular cards) can easily counter bujins
2.Noble Knights should be tier 3 with Georgia, both decks are great control decks
3. buster blader and dragunity should be a high poteinal decks rather than a tier 3 decks, the former bricks alot, the later highly depends on hey trunade.

I agree

If I may say, I think Popular decks need to be updated. Many of them are so outdated and still contain 3 E-con, 3 Hey Trunade, 2 E-con with TTH , 3 D-Hero Celestial etc.

It could be a misguided to some new players who visited this page and wanna build those decks accordingly. If some of those decks are "Not so popular" anymore, it might be a good idea to get rid of some.

Has anyone noticed that the meta has no f2p decks?
(Waiting for sylvan unban, mainly because I'll be back and they aren't broken and never were)

Sadly. Gladiator Beast deck moves to Other Popular Deck. :(

A fun Gusto deck. Easy to Synchro summon using Gusto Griffin effect

I want to combine a winged beast deck with dragunity synchro. Any winged beast deck I should look at above?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Dragunity itself has Winged Beasts, the archetype is a combination of Winged Beasts and Dragons.
Anonymous
Bujins should be considered tier 3, that ostrich is mvp.

Maybe even tier 2.5
