Overview

This deck is built around Normal dragon monsters and cards that have a great synergy with the attributes of each monsters, cards such as Darkflare Dragon, Knight of the Red Lotus and Order to Charge.

How to use this deck

  • Mirage Dragon is a great addition to all dragon type decks, it prevents enemy from activating cards such as Mirror Wall and Windstorm Etaqua and saves your monsters from being destroyed. Since it's a Light monster, it has a synergy with Darkflare Dragon summoning condition.
  • Hunter Dragon can be obtain from Dragonic Force structure deck, a vanilla monster with 1900ATK if "Mountain" is on the field. A DARK monster that can help with Darkflare Dragon summoning condition and since it's a normal monster, it gives Order to Charge and Knight of the Red Lotus more synergy with the deck.
  • Hieratic Dragon of Nuit is also a great addition for this deck since it can special summon normal monsters from your deck, making it more thin and can give you an aditional tribute monster for Wattail Dragon or even Darkflare Dragon.

  • Once you have enough monsters on the Graveyard, a LIGHT and DARK monster, you can special summon Darkflare Dragon easily. It can also be used to send more Normal monster in your hand and deck to provide more resources for Knight of the Red Lotus summoning condition, while thinning your deck faster.

  • Soul Resurrection can special summon any Normal monster from the graveyard, a great card to give more support for this deck.
  • Dragon's Rebirth is a trap Kidmodo Dragon, it can special summon a Dragon from your hand or grave by tributing 1 dragon from your side of the field, be mindful that the tribute monster will be removed from play and might not be useful for Darkflare Dragon or even Knight of the Red Lotus summoning condition.
  • Mirror Wall is simply used as a trap card to destroy any attacking monster.

I've said 7 out of 20 not twenty. To have all the cards you've said by now, it means you've spent much of the free gems you've acquired so far. It is in no way f2p because many of the free gems go for packs that help you farm LDs and not packs that have cards like Soul Exchange, Soul Ressurection, Mirror Wall etc.

First part could've been spelled out better to avoid confusion...-.-'
But 2nd part has no difference. Not matter which pack it is, there are MULTIPLE Farming and Competitive cards, which there are no difference between the two btw. They are just cards. F2P or Paying for faster packs (that's all $$ get you), you can make an effective deck in Duel Links.

If you go through an entire box, you can get everything on here except a second stamping destruction which could be replaced by de-spell or twister. So yes, this deck is easy to obtain unless you just started.

Works for me 100% against stage 51+ NPCs. Substituted Knight of the Red Lotus & Soul Resurrection w/Security Orb & Exploder Dragon

i got to platinum 1 with this deck, didnt try further

Very bad deck high chance to brick in the starting hand with 4 tribute monster and 10 spell & traps(ebola is a hand trap) ,which means if u sun have a lv 4 or lower monster in the starting hand most likely u will lose.

Just because Clash is super P2W doesnt mean certain decks here arent. This is the epitome of a pay 2 win deck. Just about every card is an UR from a box. The ONLY cards not "purchasable" are the Econ and lord knows how long it takes to get one of those, and the Darkflare Drag from Mokuba, and who knows when he will be back around.

if u think this is the epitome of a p2w deck then idk what to tell u. as a f2p i could make this deck if i changed my gem allocation a little. relinquished and red eyes decks are far more expensive. this kind of deck has a lot interchangeable cards that you can change if you really want to, relinquish/rebd don't have nearly as much variance.

Nah, play with your own balls. Over half the deck is obtained & guaranteed in just 500 gems, which are relatively easy to get in the game. Even easier during events, which Bakura is currently terrorizing everyone in sight. No room to complain here.

wow, it's so much vanilla... 5 monster, 25% of a 20 card deck...
if it happens that you banish 2 normal monster to summon red lotus you have max. 3 monsters left to combo with lotus and OTC... very consistent...

Your first statement is wrong!
The ratio amounts GameA is using is correct!
For every 1 OTC, you want 2 to 3 Vanilla.

5 Vanilla for 2 OTC is reasonable.

Your statement is trying to make fun of the ratio amounts.

However, GameA ratio amounts are fine.

You second statement is correct.
GameA will run out of Targets.

It isn't because his ratio amounts are wrong.

The reason he will run out of targets is because you always want your vanilla targets to be 1-4 star monsters.

Wattaildragon is a 6 star monster.

You never want to use OTC on a monster above level 4.
You are uses up or wasting to many resources.

The idea GameA had was to use Hieratic Dragon to SS Wattaildragon with 0 atk + 0 def.

Than he was going to use OTC on Wattaildragon since it has no stats.

Than he plans to revive the dragon from the grave with a trap.

Ideally, His plan is theoretically nice.
The problem is his monster line needs more Hieratic Dragon to be consistent.
