This card can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a Dragon-Type monster. If this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card in Attack Position. You cannot activate this effect if there are any monsters in your Graveyard that are not Dragon-Type. If this card is Special Summoned with this effect, remove it from play when it is removed from the field.
so i tried dimension gating totem dragon and then bringing it back for it to get destroyed by the next moster to save life points but then i couldnt active totems dragons effect next turn from the graveyard to summon my blue eyes eve though there was no monsters on my field why?
I'd be fine with 4, but I do agree that 5 is a bit too much for basically a glorified Kaiser Sea Horse (or flame ruler if you're using Tyrant Dragon).
This deck is way better combined with tyrant dragon. And with the new dragon support; Vanguard dragon, this has potential to be OP. I'm suprised no one has made a deck around this card yet on the ladder, or I haven't seen it yet. I've been playing around with a tyrant dragon+REBD variant deck. I've made it to gold with it. need some work.
So for a BEWD Deck we sould buy this card or just use 3 Kaiba-man? I mean you cant special summon it so easy... You have to set it on your first turn or sent it to the grave from the start of the game so you can speacial summon it later on... I mean is pretty hard to use it... and you cant play many dragons in BEWD Deck nor the REBD Deck so you can special summon it later on ... This card HAVE to come on your first hand or is pretty useless... But if you disagre tell me why i may be wrong...
Kaibaman's better IMO. Not only is it faster (can summon both Kaibaman and BEWD in the same turn) and more reliable (don't need an empty field), but it also gives you much more deck building freedom (can run non-Dragons safely).
I'd only run Totem Dragon for BEWD if they ever release Solidarity.
