Arcanite Magician | Decks and Tips

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Spellcaster-Type monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned: Place 2 Spell Counters on it. This card gains 1000 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. You can remove 1 Spell Counter from your field, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target.

• Gains attack indefinitely.
• Destroys your opponent’s card. (Not once per turn.)

• Weak base stats. Can gain attack from Spell counters, but makes him weak to effect negation.

Discards The Fabled Cerburrel to special summon The Tricky. The discarded Cerburrel will then be special summoned via its own effect and you can use both monsters to Syncrho summon. Arcanite Magician only requires the non-Tuner material to be a Spellcaster so using a non-Spellcaster Tuner monster, like Cerburrel, would be fine.

Use these cards to put Spell Counters on Arcanite Magician which boosts his attack and lets him destroy more of your opponent’s cards. Spell Power Grasp will help thin your deck aside from adding Spell Counters, but you can only use one each turn. Crusader of Endymion boosts his own attack when he gives a Spell Counter, but must be gemini summoned.

These cards have effects that put Spell Counters on themselves when another action is performed.(Usually a when a Spell card is activated.) Although they cannot boost Arcanite Magician’s attack, You can use the Spell Counters on these cards to fuel Arcanite Magician’s effect.

Magical Citadel of Endymion gains Spell Counters whenever a Spell Card is activated which can fuel Arcanite Magician’s effect. Additionally when card with Spell Counters is destroyed, the Spell Counters on that card are transferred to Magical Citadel of Endymion.

Magical Citadel of Endymion even has an innate protection effect which protects it from being destroyed by removing one Spell Counter. Use Magidog to Synchro summon Arcanite Magician to search out Magical Citadel of Endymion.
