  • Destroys 1 Field Spell upon Normal or Special Summoning.
  • Allows you to Fusion Summon using materials on your Field, without using Polymerization.

  • Requires 1 tribute to Tribute Summon.
  • Fusion materials on your Field must match the conditions of the Fusion monster.
  • Fusion materials must be on your Field to be able to Fusion summon.

  • Curse of DragonFire’s effect does not require Polymerization in order to Fusion summon.
  • It can still be challenging to Summon a Fusion Material like Buster Blader, or Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight, to the Field, in order to use Curse of DragonFire’s effect.

Speed Summon

Treeborn Frog can easily be used as a single tribute to summon this card. Use Soul Exchange to use one of your opponent's monster as tribute. You can also use Enemy Controller tribute control effect to use your opponent’s monster as tribute. You can banish Amarylease from your Graveyard in order to Normal summon this monster without a Tribute.

You can use Transmodify on this monster, to Special Summon Curse of Dragonfire from your Deck. Divine Dragon Apocralyph’s effect also allows you to discard 1 card and return 1 Dragon-type monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

You can use Draconnection to reveal 1 level 5 Dragon-type monster in your hand, and add another level 5 Dragon-type monster from your Deck to your hand. Chaos Zone can also search for Curse of Dragonfire, when it is destroyed with at least 5 counters on it.

Fusion Monsters

These are the fusion monsters with flexible Fusion material conditions, which can go with Curse of DragonFire’s effect.

Trash card
Looks interesting, I wonder if it will come back in the future

.....did you completely missed the Burning Nova box or something
This card actually doesn't work. Did the test with Elemental Hero Terra Firma, Cyber Blader, B. Skull Dragon (using proper mats for all of them). As you can see, those 3 fusion all have different rules for fusion summoning them (except B.Skull, which is a basic fusion).

My "Curse" was special summoned from my hand with Kidmodo Dragon (maybe it could be that, due to the first effect "normal summon or special summoned"). I even tried to normal summon it (not tribute summon) using the "cost down" and still wasn't able to use the effect. Can you fix please?

I wont lie the wording on curse of dragonfire is 🔥 confusing.

I think that pretty much it means that you can fusion summon a monster without poly as long as that card and the other materials are on the field

Of course everything has to match the fusion requirements

you mean the way it was originally setup? *sigh*
If this card have something like "if you control Gaia the fierce knight monster you can special summon this card" effect it will see some play
How long does the first ban on yugioh duel links?
Felgrand Princess
Can I use this card to fusion summon 5 Headed Dragon?

Materials have to be on the field, so no
Why this trash only target spell? Fck this all dragun got low card effects, is that a joke or konani hates draguns.
This card have a good effects, and is an upgraded version of Curse of Dragon, but they could have reduced its atack by 100 or 200 and make it a level 4 to make things easier, having 3 copys and 3 Swift Gaias(That you can summon without tribute) would make way easier to summon the new gaia and you would't even need to be -3 after the summon.
so you have to control this card and another one on the field to use it without poly, and atm you can only use on generic or semi-generic fusion monsters like buster blader or that gaia fusion monster or Panzer Dragon
People are 🔥ing stupid and can't read, what's new?
I could not use this card. Has anyone else had any problems? I know I did everything right but no option appears.

I think it is not a substitute so all fusion material monsters must be on the field and then tribute them with this card ( I repeat it is not a substitute) then fusion summon the fusion monster

Having the same problem. Tried to test this card to see how it works and reading the text I assumed you must have the materials on field and this card could function as a Polymerization. Bubbleman and Avian are on the field but I can't summon Mariner.

IT SAYS "USING THIS CARD YOU CONTROL AS FUSION MATERIAL". You can only summon Buster Blader or the new Soaring Gaia with this card at the moment.
