Overview

DateJune 19 2018 - June 26 2018

You can receive various Rewards by completing the floors of the tower or by opening the D.D. BOX.

Changes Since the Last D.D. Tower

  • You can now obtain EXP when you first defeat the monsters on each floor.
  • Your Life Points will not be reduced to 0 even if you lose a Duel against the D.D. Invader. Instead, your Life Points will remain at the amount they were at before the Duel.
  • The Skill of monsters that guard floor 31 and above, "D.D. Miasma," has been adjusted.
  • WIND and EARTH Dimension Packs, card packs that contain cards from the previous D.D. Tower (WIND and EARTH Dimension) have been added to the D.D. Box. (* WATER Dimension Packs from the previous Event's D.D. Box are not included this time)
  • Mini LP Potions, an item that restores your Life Points by 1000, have been added. You can only obtain them from the D.D. Box.

D.D. Invader

When Dueling with the tower monsters, there is a chance that the D.D. Invader will appear.

  • Completely different from normal tower monsters, D.D. Invader is a formidable opponent that uses a D.D. Deck. If you manage to defeat it, you will receive 1-4 Mission Points depending on the difficulty mode, and have your LP fully restored.
  • The D.D. Invader will disappear 1hour after appearing. Be sure not to let your chance to slip away!

Event details

  • This event is available after reaching Stage 4.
  • This event may be held again in the future.
  • At the end of the event your remaining LP Potions will be converted into gold per LP potion.
    Remaining Mini LP Potions x 200 Gold
    Remaining LP Poitions x 1000 Gold
  • When you Loose/Draw/Surrender a Duel against a monster or quit a suspended duel in progress, your LP will be reduced to 0 and you cannot duel at the tower until it is restored to 4000.
  • Even if your Life Points exceed 4000 at the end of the Duel, your LP will start 4000 for the next duel.
  • Your LP in this event will not affect your LP when dueling in Duel World or Arena.
  • Once you defeat a monster, you can duel that monster again whenever you want. However, even if your LP exceed that of your starting amount at the end of Duel, it will be reset to what you started with.
  • Even if you fulfill the mission requirements of a Duel Mission, the Mission will not be considered complete unless you win the Duel.

Event flow / How to play

1.

Duel against monsters that guard each floor. Defeat all monsters on a floor to receive the floor completion reward and move on to the next floor.

2.

Damage to your Life Points carry over between duels in the D.D. Tower, so be wary of how much damage you take. (If your LP fall to 0, you cannot duel in D.D. Tower again until they have completely healed!)

3.

Earn Mission Points by completing "Duel Missions" that will be given when Dueling against a monster! Once you accumulate enough mission points, spend them to obtain D.D. BOXes, which contain various items and cards!

Aim for the 40th Floor!

Unlock 22 June 2018 13:00

  • Enemies on these floor have stronger Decks and will use the Skill "D.D.Miasma," which damages your Life Points every turn.
  • Defeating them won't be easy but if you reach the true top of the tower, you can earn a second copy of "Exodia Necross" as the 40th floor completion Reward.

These Potions can be obtained from Floor Completion Rewards, D.D. BOXes and Daily Event Missions. It can only be used during the event.

D.D. Orbs [Expiration Date - 3 Jul 2018 13:00]

By spending 5 D.D. Orbs (obtained by completing duel missions). you can receive an item from the D.D. BOX.

  • The D.D. BOX contains 20 items (Gold,event exclusive cards, etc.), which will be randomly given out each time you open the BOX.
  • When all items are obtained, the BOX is reset.
    (You can reset the BOX before it is empty by tapping on the BOX reset button.)
  • You can access the D.D Box via the Event Page or by tapping on the "D.D. Guide".

Appearance Rate for foil cards

Resetting the D.D. Box when there are 9 or less items will increase the chance of foil cards appearing.

  • The Appearance rate reaches its maximum after resetting the BOX 4 times.
  • Even if you reset the BOX when there are 10 or more items, the chance of foil cards appearing will not decrease.

Cyber Stein Life Cost 0 did a few missions for me(40 boss mission <=6 turn win) or the spell(+trap) missions. Even against those pesky Archfiends it was useable(because they couldn't do 🔥 against 2 BEUD or 1 BEUD+Ojama King lockdown. Now I need RIP...

Anyone notice how when dueling the deck that summons Great Maju (it's attack becomes 2x Tributes monster's original attack) makes no sense?

1. When summoning that worm looking monster whose original attack is 2600, when normal summoned without tribute ORIGINAL ATTACK BECOMES 1300, says so on the damn text, yet tribute that for Great Maju and Maju's attack becomes 5200!! WTF.

The worm monster was originally had 2.6k atk, but because of its fx can be normal summoned by reduce it's original atk to half, but that is only when he is ON the field. when he is tributed for Great Maju, his original atk is treated as 2600 atk because Maju ONLY Reads its original atk IN the card which is 2600 atk and thus he became a 5200 atk beater.

Maju hits the field (and thus have its ATK calculated) AFTER the tribute hits the Graveyard.

In the Graveyard, the tribute's ATK is no longer 1300, but is back to 2600.

At least, that's the only reason I can think of for why that happens.

if you go 3 magical merchant and just 6 magic cards (contract with exodia and monster reincarnation) you can ge rid most of your deck. You could also add some traps

It is pointless using exodia necross because th eother exodia pieces must be in the grave yard and there is only 1 copy of each with grandpas cards. so you lose all of your deck and exodia necross cant be come powerful as you lose from running out of cards. i hope painful choice is added so you can use exodia necross
